Abstract

ABSTRACT Mathematics is a subject at the elementary, middle and high school levels of education. Mathematics includes the study of abstract concepts or abstract mathematical objects. This research aims to determine the effect of haze on the teaching and learning process of class VI mathematics. The methods used in this research are qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative data in this research was carried out by collecting data from interviews with class VI Mathematics teachers. Meanwhile, the quantitative data in this research is data from differences in students' learning outcomes during face-to-face learning and distance learning (PJJ). The learning outcomes of students during face-to-face meetings are between 65% complete and 35% incomplete with an average score of 64.8. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of distance students are between 32% complete and 68% incomplete with an average score of 60. ABSTRAK Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang ada pada jenjang pendidikan dasar, menengah pertama, dan menengah atas. Matematika mencakup studi tentang konsep-konsep abstrak atau objek matematika yang bersifat abstrak.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kabut asap terhadap proses belajar mengajar matematika kelas VI. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data dari hasil wawancara guru Matematika kelas VI. Sedangkan data kuantitatif pada penelitian ini adalah data dari perbedaan hasil belajar peseta didik saat pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Adapun hasil belajar peserta didik saat tatap muka yaitu dengan interval nilai tuntas 65% dan tidak tuntas 35% dengan nilai rata – rata 64,8. Sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik jarak jauh yaitu dengan interval nilai tuntas 32% dan tidak tuntas 68% dengan nilai rata – rata 60.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out how many benefits and how high the value of teaching aids, especially mathematics teaching aids, used by a mathematics teacher during learning to increase the learning motivation of VA MIS class students. Nahdlatul Ulama Palangkaraya. The method used by researchers during the research was the interview method and direct observation of the research object, which consisted of teachers, students, learning approaches and teaching aids used in mathematics learning. It is hoped that after the research, readers and researchers as prospective teachers will realize how important the use of teaching aids, especially mathematics teaching aids, is in increasing students' learning motivation in class. And through this research, researchers also show that students are motivated to learn mathematics compared to learning without using teaching aids, students tend to show a passive attitude and are not enthusiastic when learning takes place.

Abstract

In the midst of the dynamics of Indonesian education, learning evaluation plays a very important role. Evaluations not only measure student achievement, but also identify effective teaching methods. The success of teaching is not only seen from the learning outcomes achieved by students, but also in terms of the process. To determine the success of learning objectives, an educator needs to carry out learning evaluations. In conducting evaluations, teachers are given the freedom to determine their own form of evaluation used. There are many types of evaluation tools in learning such as multiple choice, essays, matching and many more. The aim of this evaluation is to make it easier for a teacher to carry out a task or achieve a goal effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using essays as a learning evaluation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The technique used in data collection was an interview with one of the 4th grade teachers at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City. The research results show that the use of essays in mathematics subjects in grade 4 is more effective than using other forms of evaluation. Because, students can be invited to think more critically in working on the questions given, so that students can solve them well.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of descriptive assessments in improving students' mathematical abilities at SDIT Alam IKM AL-Muhajirin. The main aim of this research is to understand how to improve descriptive assessments in students' mathematical abilities and to explore an in-depth understanding of the impact of using descriptive assessments to improve students' mathematical abilities. This research uses qualitative research. This research technique involves collecting data through in-depth interviews with mathematics teachers in high classes related to the implementation of essay question assessments. The results of the research show that the application of essay question assessments makes a positive contribution to students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The teacher said that understanding the use of high level description questions (Hots) can encourage students to think critically and develop a deeper understanding. Apart from that, the essay question assessment also encourages the development of students' critical thinking and mathematical communication skills. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the benefits of assessing descriptive questions in the context of SDIT Alam IKM Al-Muhajirin. The implication of this research is that a qualitative approach in implementing essay question assessment can provide a deeper understanding of changes in students' understanding and its positive impact on mathematics learning. In the world of education, student assessment is the process of collecting information that is used to make decisions about students, curricula, programs, schools, and educational policies.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the English alphabet pronunciation skills among students at MIS Miftahul Huda II in Palangka Raya City through the use of flashcard media. Students from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGMI) program are actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of this program. The method used is a participatory approach, where PGMI students provide interactive learning using specially designed flashcards to help students recognize and correctly pronounce the alphabet. The results of this activity show a significant improvement in students' pronunciation skills and their enthusiasm for participating in the learning process. Additionally, the involvement of PGMI students in this program provides valuable practical experience in teaching and classroom management. Therefore, this activity is beneficial not only for the students but also for the professional competence development of PGMI students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe coloring extracurricular activities in developing the creativity of grade I Min 2 students in Palangka Raya City. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative data collection tool in the form of interviews. The results obtained in this study were that the coloring extracurricular activities which were attended by grade I students and carried out every Saturday at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City were quite effective in increasing creativity and also training students' imaginations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak pendampingan seni tari tradisional sebagai upaya pelestarian budaya dan peningkatan kreativitas siswa di MI Darul Ulum Kota Palangka Raya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode drill yang melibatkan pengulangan secara terus-menerus dengan serius untuk memperkuat asosiasi atau menyempurnakan keterampilan, sehingga menjadi lebih permanen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan kemampuan improvisasi dan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menampilkan tari tradisional. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam seni tari, serta meningkatnya keterampilan sosial melalui kerja sama dalam kelompok. Dukungan dari guru, orang tua, dan komunitas sekolah menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan program ini. Temuan ini merekomendasikan integrasi seni tari tradisional dalam kurikulum pendidikan untuk memperkuat pelestarian budaya dan pengembangan kreativitas siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan mahasiswa MBKM di MI Darul Ulum Palangka Raya adalah untuk membantu siswa belajar membaca Al-Qur'an. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan guru yang mengajarkan Iqro dan Al-Qur'an. Pembagian ini dibuat untuk memastikan bahwa semua kegiatan dilakukan dengan benar dan instruksi berjalan lancar hingga selesai. Tujuan umum dan khusus mengajar mengaji adalah untuk membangun dan mengembangkan individu muslim yang beriman, bertakwa kepada Allah SWT, berakhlak mulia, dan berguna bagi masyarakat. Siswa harus dapat membaca huruf hijaiyah secara urut dan benar serta menghafal bunyi bacaannya. Ini adalah standar ideal untuk kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an. Kegiatan mengajar mengaji berlangsung selama lima hari seminggu, dimulai setelah subuh, sekitar pukul 06.30–07.10 WIB. Ada sekitar 30 siswa yang diajar oleh satu guru, guru MI Darul Ulum Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The Worship Practice Assistance Program (PPI) at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City aims to increase the spiritual awareness of grade VI students through guidance on daily worship practices. This program is motivated by the need to ensure that the religious knowledge taught at school can be applied by students in real life. Mentoring activities are carried out through theoretical guidance, direct worship practices at school and evaluation. The results of the mentoring showed a significant improvement in students' discipline in performing worship, a better understanding of worship procedures, and more positive character building. In addition, the active involvement of parents in accompanying students' worship at home plays an important role in maintaining the continuity of religious education between school and family. This program has also succeeded in increasing students' spiritual awareness, which is reflected in changes in behavior that are more polite, honest, and caring for the surrounding environment. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the PPI program is effective in guiding students to become more disciplined and understand the importance of worship and noble moral values. For the sustainability of the program, it is recommended that mentoring be carried out on an ongoing basis, actively involving parents, and utilizing technology to support students' worship practices at home.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the literacy of second-grade students through a reading tutoring program at MIN 2 Kota Palangka Raya. The program was conducted from August to early October, involving five students as research subjects. The method used is a qualitative approach with techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. In this guidance, students are provided with reading materials and techniques tailored to individual needs, including a personal approach that helps students understand the content of the reading. The research results show a significant improvement in students' reading abilities, including reading speed, comprehension of the text, and their interest in literacy activities. This program has proven effective in enhancing students' literacy through a structured guidance approach that focuses on the characteristics of the students. The recommendation from this research is further development of the reading guidance program to reach more students and support literacy achievement on a broader scale.
