Abstract

Business ethics play a crucial role in regulating behavior in the business world. They influence the relationship between companies and their employees, as well as the relationships between companies and other economic actors. Business ethics rules are designed to facilitate the course of business, and compliance with these regulations can help companies achieve their goals. In Laksmi Muslimah, ethics are essential for carrying out operational activities, such as serving clients and dealing with them according to predetermined codes of ethics. This ensures that both customers and employees are comfortable in carrying out these activities. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, using primary data obtained directly from Laksmi Muslimah as the main respondent through interviews, without going through intermediaries. In conclusion, business ethics are crucial for the success of any industry. Lakshmi Muslimah takes ethics seriously in all its operations, not just to make a profit. They guide clients on proper conduct through a predetermined Code of Conduct, ensuring safe activities for customers and employees. Lakshmi Muslimah communicates ethical standards actively through direct methods or WhatsApp groups. Violations result in sanctions for perpetrators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the good relationship with customers at Grand Surabaya Hotel. The object of research is Grand Surabaya Hotel. The population of this study was in the marketing department. This study aims to determine the extent to which grand Surabaya hotel establishes good relations with its customers, the role of employees who work in the service sector fully holds tightly to the ethics and morals of the hotel in improving the quality of service at Grand Surabaya Hotel. This research method is carried out using qualitative methods in the form of information related to the problem being studied and descriptive analysis which explains clearly about related topics and data obtained through observation. The results showed that it is important to establish good relationships in all departments in service services to maintain the quality of service to guests and also operations that run well. The next research that is interesting to be developed as research is professional ethics in the hotel industry.

Abstract

This study aims to check (1). The impact of online sales on sales levels at Nana Shop Sedati, Sidoarjo. (2). To determine the impact of offline sales on sales levels at Nana Shop Sedati, Sidoarjo. (3) To determine the impact of online and offline sales on sales levels at Nana Shop Sedati, Sidoarjo. This research uses quantitative methods. The type of data is primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from the results of documentation in the form of Nana Shop sales reports as well as observations and interviews with Nana Shop owners. Based on the results of research at the significance level of 0.05 or 5%, it shows that online and offline sales simultaneously have a significant effect on the level of sales, this is evidenced by the value of F_{count} greater than F_{tabel} (482.910> 4.26. Researchers give advice to Nana Shop owners to improve uploading product photos on online sales and also improve facilities in the store as well as improve the system in implementing online and offline sales.

Abstract

Land and Building Tax (PBB) is a local tax administered by the regional government. The aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a downturn in the community's economy, impacting laws and regulations that restrict direct interactions and subsequently affecting tax revenue. To address these challenges, digital technology has been employed. This study aims to investigate the impact of tax application (X1), understanding of taxation (X2), and tax sanctions (X3) on tax compliance (Y). Applying attribution theory and utilizing quantitative research methods, primary data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS 26.00. The findings reveal that tax applications (X1) and understanding of taxation (X2) individually influence compliance with PBB payments (Y), as do tax sanctions (X3). Additionally, collectively, X1, X2, and X3 exhibit a simultaneous effect on variable Y

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of word of mouth and product diversity variables on purchasing decisions at Sinar Bulan minimarket. The research population consists of Sinar Bulan minimarket consumers. A sample of 100 people was taken using random sampling techniques. The research results prove that both word of mouth and product diversity have a positive and significant partial effect on purchasing decisions at Sinar Bulan minimarket. Furthermore, word of mouth and product diversity simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Sinar Bulan minimarket. The magnitude of the influence of word of mouth and product diversity on purchasing decisions at Sinar Bulan minimarket is 44.8%.

Abstract

The application of digital accounting in government has become an important concern in efforts to increase efficiency, transparency and accountability in regional financial management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital accounting in the Grobogan Regency Government, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities faced in this process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of digital accounting in Grobogan Regency has provided significant benefits, including increased speed in financial reporting and ease of data access. However, the challenges faced include limited technological infrastructure, resistance to change, and lack of human resource competence. On the other hand, opportunities arising from this implementation include improving the quality of decision making, saving operational costs, and increasing community participation in budget oversight. In conclusion, despite various challenges, the potential benefits of digital accounting in government are enormous, especially in supporting transparency and efficiency in regional financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the learning patterns applied by lecturers in developing ethical awareness in accounting students at STIE Mahardhika Surabaya. Ethical awareness is one of the important aspects in accounting education, considering the role of accountants in maintaining integrity and transparency in financial reporting. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, which involves observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that lecturers used various learning strategies, such as case discussions, simulations, and integration of ethical values into the curriculum, to strengthen students' understanding and ethical awareness. It was also found that varied and interactive learning patterns contributed significantly to the improvement of students' ethical awareness. This study concludes that the development of ethical awareness in accounting education can be more effective if supported by learning methods that are contextual and relevant to the ethical challenges faced in the real world.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of accounting systems in small and medium enterprises (UKM) in Lamongan City, with a case study at the Wijaya Drinking Water Depot. SMEs play an important role in the regional economy, but often do not implement an adequate accounting system in managing their finances. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of the accounting system at the Wijaya Drinking Water Depot is still simple and does not fully meet applicable accounting standards. However, implementing the system has helped owners make better business decisions. This research suggests increasing the use of accounting technology for efficiency and accuracy in financial management in SMEs.

Abstract

The digital era brings new challenges and opportunities for companies in managing their tax obligations. This study aims to analyse the role of data analytics in improving tax reporting accuracy at PT Duta Mahesa Group. A qualitative approach was used through a case study with primary data obtained from in-depth interviews with the company's finance and taxation team, as well as secondary data in the form of financial and tax reports. The results showed that the implementation of data analytics helped the company identify potential errors, mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting, and improve the efficiency of the tax data collection process. In addition, this technology also enables faster and more accurate data-driven decision-making. This research concludes that data analytics is a strategic tool to improve tax compliance and optimise tax management at PT Duta Mahesa Group.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the implementation of the CoreTax tax application in improving taxpayer compliance and tax reporting efficiency in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, this study evaluates the effectiveness of the CoreTax application through in-depth interviews with users and a review of secondary data. The results show that CoreTax simplifies the tax reporting process through automation features, data integration, and a comprehensive user guide. In addition, the implementation of this application has a positive impact on improving taxpayer compliance by reducing reporting errors and speeding up the filing process. However, the research also found some constraints, such as low levels of technological literacy and the need for additional training for certain users. Strategic recommendations are provided to improve the adoption and performance of the CoreTax application going forward.
