Abstract

Dalam era digital ini, pemilihan tema pelatihan yang tepat sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia di berbagai bidang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemilihan tema pelatihan pada program Vocational School Graduate Academy (VSGA) menggunakan metode clustering K-means. Clustering digunakan untuk mengelompokkan tema pelatihan berdasarkan jumlah peserta yang berhasil lulus, usia, hasil tes substansi, jenis kelamin, dan status peserta. Setelah pengelompokan, metode K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) digunakan untuk klasifikasi lebih lanjut guna memprediksi tema pelatihan yang paling sesuai untuk peserta baru berdasarkan hasil clustering sebelumnya. Data penelitian diambil dari rekaman peserta pelatihan VSGA selama beberapa periode. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kombinasi K-means dan KNN memberikan akurasi yang tinggi dalam memprediksi tema pelatihan yang relevan dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait penempatan pelatihan peserta. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa analisis data yang komprehensif dan metode pembelajaran mesin dapat memberikan wawasan berharga untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program pelatihan.

Abstract

The development of an academic information system to support the Smart Campus concept at STAI Raudhatul Akmal requires an effective enterprise architecture approach. This study adopts the TOGAF ADM method to design an enterprise architecture that can accommodate evolving academic and technological needs. The focus is on applying TOGAF ADM to analyze academic business processes and develop an integrated system implementation plan. Primary data sources include analyses of academic business processes at STAI Raudhatul Akmal, covering student admissions, teaching and learning, research, community service, graduation, and alumni services. Using TOGAF ADM’s eight phases—including vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, technology architecture, and change management—this study aims to develop a blueprint aligned with institutional needs. The analysis results indicate that the architectural blueprint includes a web-based information system, e-learning system, online grading system, and library system. The technology design covers network infrastructure and servers. The implementation governance and change management phases highlight the importance of systematic change management to ensure a smooth transition. This study recommends assessing institutional readiness and implementing all aspects of TOGAF ADM for a comprehensive design to effectively support the Smart Campus implementation at STAI Raudhatul Akmal.

Abstract

Dr. Tengku Mansyur Regional Hospital, Tanjungbalai City, still has difficulty in grouping the intensity of diseases that often occur in Tanjungbalai City, in the exact grouping based on the results of patient medical data records. Medical records are documents that record information about the patient's condition, medical history, and previous treatment filled in by health workers who provide care and treatment. Medical records function to provide health information for all health workers involved in patient care. The goal is to minimize the increase in the intensity of the disease experienced by patients by providing counseling and solutions to diseases that have high intensity. administration in an effort to improve health services in hospitals and also increase the supply of drugs according to the drugs needed. This study uses the Jupyter Notebook application based on Python and data mining methods, especially the K-Means Clustering algorithm, to analyze patient medical record data based on age, blood pressure and disease diagnosis. With the K-Means Clustering Algorithm, it can also minimize variation in one cluster and maximize variation between clusters. With the research, Cluster C1 is a disease that often occurs with high intensity and has 49 members, Cluster C2 is a disease that occurs with intensity. Cluster 2 has 28 members, while Cluster C3 is a disease that occurs with low intensity and has 23 members.

Abstract

Optimal course scheduling is a significant challenge in university academic management, especially in allocating courses to lecturers efficiently. This study aims to analyze the application of Genetic Algorithm and Constraint Satisfaction Method in optimizing the scheduling of course distribution at Batam University. Genetic Algorithm is used to find the optimal solution through the evolution process, while the Constraint Satisfaction method is used to ensure that all scheduling constraints, such as the availability of lecturers, classrooms, and time, are met. This research method involves collecting data on course schedules, lecturer preferences, and classroom capacity. Furthermore, the implementation of the algorithm is carried out through computer simulations with population, mutation, and crossover parameters that are set to achieve the optimal solution. Based on the results of this study, the optimization achieved includes several important aspects. First, there were no schedule conflicts (zero conflicts) between courses, classrooms, and lecturers. Second, in terms of time efficiency, the automatic scheduling process runs faster than the manual method. Furthermore, the utilization of resources such as rooms and time has been used optimally, while the teaching load of lecturers is well distributed without any excess. Finally, constraint satisfaction has been achieved, where all constraints, such as no scheduling conflicts in space, lecturers, and time, have been successfully met.

Abstract

A reliable and efficient WiFi network is a crucial facility to support the activities of passengers and visitors at Kualanamu International Airport. This study aims to identify issues affecting WiFi network performance and provide optimization solutions based on technical analysis and user needs. Data collection was conducted by measuring network parameters such as throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss across various strategic airport areas, including waiting rooms, departure terminals, and commercial zones. The analysis revealed key challenges, such as high user density during peak hours and uneven access point distribution. To address these issues, the study proposes optimization steps, including bandwidth capacity expansion, reconfiguration of network devices, and the adoption of advanced technologies like WiFi 6. Implementing these recommendations is expected to enhance the quality of the WiFi network at Kualanamu International Airport, improve user experience, and support overall airport operations effectively.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) service management plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of business intelligence processes within modern organizations. This study aims to evaluate IT service governance in Bank Rakyat Indonesia using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. This approach focuses on improving operational efficiency, service management, and aligning IT services with business needs. The research method involves a detailed analysis of service processes and activities based on ITIL stages, ranging from service strategy to continuous improvement. The findings indicate that ITIL implementation significantly enhances IT service management and promotes business intelligence effectiveness within the organization. Recommendations for further development are also provided to improve the quality and speed of IT services in the future.

Abstract

This study analyzes the readiness for digital transformation at the North Sumatra Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dispendukcapil), which faces several challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited human resource competencies, and suboptimal internal policies. The findings indicate that infrastructure development, skill enhancement for human resources, and effective digital service integration can improve public service quality and increase public trust. Furthermore, national policy support and collaboration with external parties can accelerate the digital transformation process. Recommendations include sufficient budget allocation, regular training, the development of comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), and periodic evaluations to identify and address implementation challenges. By implementing these measures, Dispendukcapil North Sumatra is expected to achieve a more efficient, transparent, and reliable digital-based public service system.

Abstract

UD Dharma Tani merupakan usaha dagang yang bergerak dalam bidang penjualan barang kebutuhan pertanian. Dalam proses pencatatan stok barang, perusahaan masih menggunakan cara manual, sehingga berisiko menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, dan ketidaksesuaian antara stok fisik dan data. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dibangunlah sebuah sistem informasi stok barang berbasis web yang dapat membantu dalam pengelolaan data barang masuk, barang keluar, supplier, dan laporan stok. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan metode Waterfall yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengkodean, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil dari pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan membantu admin dalam mengelola data stok secara lebih efektif, cepat, dan akurat. Dengan sistem ini, proses pencatatan menjadi lebih terstruktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model prediktif berbasis K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) untuk memprediksi tren penyewaan kontainer pada tahun 2023 serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Data yang digunakan mencakup transaksi penyewaan dari kuartal I hingga IV tahun 2023. Evaluasi akurasi model dilakukan menggunakan metrik MAE, MSE, RMSE, dan R². Hasil prediksi total transaksi menunjukkan performa baik dengan MAE 15.247.442,46, RMSE 47.566.997,44, dan R² sebesar 0,9663. Namun, pada prediksi bulanan dan harian, akurasi menurun signifikan (R² masing-masing -0,2190 dan -1,9959), menandakan kelemahan dalam memprediksi data berskala lebih kecil. Analisis tren menunjukkan fluktuasi musiman: kuartal I mengalami peningkatan stabil, kuartal II mengalami penurunan jumlah sewa meskipun durasi meningkat, kuartal III mengalami penurunan signifikan, dan kuartal IV menunjukkan pemulihan, terutama pada bulan Desember. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar perusahaan menambah armada menjelang kuartal IV dan memberikan promo di kuartal III. Hasil riset ini menyediakan model prediktif berbasis data yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan strategis untuk optimalisasi operasional perusahaan penyewaan kontainer.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Information Technology (IT) governance has become a crucial aspect in improving the efficiency of public services, particularly within the Department of Community and Village Empowerment, Population, and Civil Registration of North Sumatra Province. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital transformation in IT governance using the COBIT 2019 framework. The research method includes the analysis of regulations, the role of IT, procurement models, implementation methods, and technology adoption strategies applied by the department. The findings show that IT implementation is predominantly strategic in nature, supporting the digitization of population services and enhancing data transparency. The IT procurement model comprises a combination of outsourcing (30%), cloud computing (30%), and insourcing (40%) to balance efficiency and system control. Agile methodology is the most dominant implementation method (50%), followed by DevOps (35%) for maintenance and traditional approaches (15%) for more structured projects. The department primarily adopts a "follower" technology adoption strategy (75%), reflecting a selective approach to digital innovation. Based on COBIT 2019 evaluation, the BAI (Build, Acquire, and Implement) domain is the main focus, with high scores in solution identification and improvement management (90) and change management (100), indicating the department’s readiness to adopt digital systems. However, challenges remain in information security, inter-agency data integration, and human resource readiness. The digital transformation of IT governance at the department has been systematically implemented, supporting the improvement of population service efficiency. Enhancements in security, infrastructure, and the strengthening of IT governance policies are necessary to optimize and sustain digital transformation implementation.
