Abstract

Penyakit degeneratif adalah penyakit yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup seseorang. Pola hidup dan stress merupakan faktor resiko dari penyakit degeneratif sehingga diperlukan terapi untuk mengendalikan hal ini. Salah satu cara pengendalian stres yaitu dengan melakukan terapi non farmakologi menggunakan media terapi rileksasi garam hangat dengan tanaman serai. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah untuk pengendalian pencegahan penyakit degeneratif dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan yang ada di sekitar. Garam dipilih karena mengandung zat seperti natrium dan sodium sehingga mengatur keseimbangan cairan dalam tubuh dan berfungsi dalam transmisi saraf dan kerja otot. Metode rendam kaki dengan air hangat garam dan serai memiliki manfaat yaitu menghilangkan stress, membuat terasa hangat dan meningkatkan relaksasi otot. Tahap yang dilakukan yaitu observasi lapangan, komunikasi dengan kader, pemaparan tentang cara pembuatan dan penggunaan media terapi garam hangat dengan tanaman Serai. Mitra sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan ikut serta dalam demo praktek penggunakan media terapi garam hangat dengan Serai dengan hasil setuju 80%.

Abstract

Elderly is known as someone who is older than 60 years. The elderly have a greater risk of disease, especially degenerative diseases. A decrease in physical activity, lifestyle and food consumption is one of the factors causing the development of this disease. Therefore, it is better if it is detected early by carrying out a health examination and having good knowledge about the disease, so that it can prevent the disease from becoming a complication and reduce dangerous risks. The aim of this activity is to achieve preventive efforts to reduce the risk of degenerative diseases that can cause complications. The method used is counseling with the stages carried out namely field observation, coordination with cadres, filling out questionnaires regarding knowledge about degenerative diseases and awareness of health checks, carrying out health checks, and outreach. The results of the activity showed that the community was very enthusiastic about carrying out health checks and taking part in socialization. The results of measuring community knowledge show that 48.5% of the community is in the good category, 27.3% is sufficient and 24.2% is poor and 32 people have good awareness.

Abstract

Utilizing the herbal potential of kelakai and empon-ompon which have many health benefits can be applied to support health, one of which is by making processed products that are practical, healthy and safe. Previously, training had been carried out on the production of processed kelakai and empon-empon powders and tea dips, but regarding packaging and marketing, the information was still limited. The aim of this community service is for participants to: 1) understand more deeply the development of processed products; 2) Produce competitive products and market them in a modern way; 3) Understand good labeling and packaging. The activity was held on May 22 2024 at the Sungai Rangas Village Hall, West Martapura. The activity method is outreach through presentations related to entrepreneurship, how to make good product packaging and online marketing practices. The activity was attended by 10 people from the community of Sungai Batang village. The results obtained were that participants understood the importance of making products with attractive labels and packaging. Apart from that, participants also understand how to apply their social media for promotional media and apply other supporting marketing applications.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) participate in Indonesia's economic conditions, but most MSME actors still do not add halal labels to their production. This is due to the lack of literacy about halal certification. This Community Service activity aims to educate and socialize the process and benefits of halal certification for MSME actors in Sungai Rangas Village and Banteng Ulu Mobile Village, West Martapura District, Banjar Regency. The method of this activity is first, the delivery of socialization materials, video tutorial playbacks, discussion and question and answer sessions, and filling out satisfaction survey questionnaires. The results of the activity showed that 80% of participants felt very satisfied and 20% were quite satisfied with the implementation of socialization activities. This shows that activities have a positive impact in providing insight into the importance of halal certification and as a strategy in developing a sustainable business.

Abstract

Desa Kiram Kabupaten Banjar memiliki potensi sumber daya alam berupa tanaman pegagan, hal tersebut menjadi daya tarik yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Karang Intan di dukung dengan adanya program Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: 1. Penyuluhan mengenai pemanfaatan bahan alam menjadi sediaan; 2. Melatih keterampilan membuat masker wajah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan praktek langsung. Pelaksana kegiatan adalah Dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Borneo Lestari. Kegiatan berlangsung di SMA Negeri 2 Karang Intan, Desa Kiram, Kabupaten Banjar. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai pemanfaaatan bahan alam khususnya tanaman pegagan dan peserta terampil dalam membuat masker wajah daun pegagan. Program pengabdian memberikan dampak positif kepada peserta dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta untuk memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam dan siswa terampil dalam membuat sediaan masker wajah.
