Abstract

In the book of Esther 4:10-17 tells the story of Esther, a woman who was appointed queen of Persia, who dared to fight against Haman's evil plan to massacre the entire nation of Israel. This story aims to provide inspiration for today's mothers who face various challenges in fighting for their faith. They are invited not to be afraid to speak out for the truth, even though they face social and cultural challenges. Esther teaches the importance of strategy and courage in fighting for family values and faith. Trust in God, as shown by Esther, is the key to facing difficulties and achieving victory. Mothers can emulate Esther's courage and wisdom in defending their family and their faith. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely a research approach that aims to describe, understand and interpret social or cultural phenomena in depth by collecting existing data. Esther's struggle provides inspiration for mothers today to fight for their faith personally and within Christian families.

Abstract

David's courage in fighting Goliath can be an example for us Christians today, so that we as Christians have the courage to face the challenges we will face in life. David had to fight the Philistines who came armed with swords, spears and javelins and also had to fight Goliath, a giant. However, he came in the name of the Lord of the worlds. David's victory was not only due to his strength or skill in fighting but because of his firm faith and also because of God's guidance. Therefore, we as Christians must have firm faith that we can overcome the challenges and problems we will face because God's presence is always there. The purpose of this writing is how David's victory in his faith contributed to the attitude of Christians in facing challenges today. The research method used is literature study, namely a research method that collects data from existing sources.

Abstract

The story of Job in Job 2:1-10 and its relevance in facing life's trials. The aim of this research is to understand whether Job’s life experience can be a weapon for us to face life’s trials today. The research method used in this research is the theme of the story of Job in Job 2:1-10 and its relevance in facing life’s trials. Life tests are a series of challenges and trials that we face in the course of our lives, because humans are God’s most perfect creatures and are destined to face various life tests. When facing suffering or trials in Christian life today, the character of Job becomes an inspiration for those who face difficult and unexplainable situations. This suffering ultimately led to a deeper understanding of God as stated by Job himself. Despite experiencing tremendous loss, Job remained steadfast in his faith in God.  His attitude of choosing to surrender himself to God’s existence and trust in His better plans is an inspiration for believers today to remain strong in their faith when facing suffering. Suffering is not a sign that someone has been forgotten or punished by God, but is part of a test of faith that shapes character and increases spiritual maturity. The story of Job, Job 2:1-10, Reflection on life today.
