Abstract

The MBKM student exchange program is conducted in the Department of Educational Management, FIP, State University of Surabaya. The program is implemented online considering the pandemic is still ongoing. This research has a high urgency because it is important to know how the management of MBKM student exchanges during the Covid-19 pandemic, considering that so far student exchanges have been carried out directly or face-to-face before the Covid-19 pandemic. A qualitative approach with the case study method was used in this research. The results showed that student exchange management started from planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluating. The four steps are summarized in seven activities in the management of MBKM student exchange during the pandemic in the Department of Education Management, FIP Unesa, namely: (1) planning; (2) socialization; (3) recruitment; (4) student orientation; (5) student placement; (6) student development; and (7) recording and reporting. This study can be used as recommendations for the implementation of online student exchanges by other universities because it shows the process starting from program planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluation.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Jemundo dalam pengembangan sentra tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) berbasis biodiversitas menyoroti upaya penting untuk memajukan kesejahteraan lokal dan pelestarian sumber daya alam. Artikel ini menelusuri strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengelola biodiversitas untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan fokus pada pengembangan sentra TOGA. Melalui pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat menggunakan serangkaian langkah strategis seperti pendekatan komunikasi langsung, identifikasi masalah, dan pemetaan prioritas. Persiapan kegiatan melibatkan survei kebutuhan dan potensi desa, koordinasi intensif, serta studi awal untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan program melibatkan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan terkait budidaya, pengolahan, dan pemasaran produk TOGA. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup persiapan kegiatan, studi awal (FGD), pelaksanaan acara, dan evaluasi. Dalam persiapan kegiatan, tim merencanakan pelatihan TOGA dengan keahlian dari berbagai bidang dan mengkoordinasikan materi dengan ahli pertanian dan kesehatan untuk memastikan kecocokan dengan kebutuhan lokal. Studi awal melibatkan acara pembukaan yang membangkitkan antusiasme masyarakat, menyampaikan sambutan dari kepala desa dan tokoh masyarakat, serta pelatihan interaktif tentang penanaman dan manfaat TOGA. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berfokus pada pelatihan branding dan pemasaran produk hasil TOGA, melibatkan pemateri ahli dalam bidangnya. Acara ini didesain untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru kepada peserta dan mendorong mereka untuk mencoba penggunaan social media dalam pemasaran. Evaluasi menyeluruh dilakukan melalui kuisioner, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok dengan peserta untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan mayoritas peserta memberikan penilaian positif terhadap kualitas materi, narasumber, dan metode pelatihan. Evaluasi positif dari peserta menunjukkan keberhasilan pelatihan dalam memberikan pengetahuan yang bermanfaat dan mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan TOGA untuk kesejahteraan mereka.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the condition of the 'Taman Baca' service of the Department of Education Management before and during the covid-19 pandemic; designing online 'Taman Baca' access service that is the application "MP DigiLib" according to the needs of students, lecturers, educational personnel and the community; and know the level of student satisfaction with academic services. The method used in the development of the 'Taman Baca' service is to use the Waterfall Model, which is to apply 2 stages of 5 stages, among others Analysis and Design to design digital library applications. The result obtained is the realization of the digitization of the library by using the SLiMS platform in the localhost version and there are two page views available, namely pages for visitors and pages for the manager of "MP DigiLib"; and the improvement of student satisfaction with academic services, especially in the tangibles aspect where there are library services that have been digitized.  Keywords: Increased, Services, Digitization, Library Systems

Abstract

The community partner for the year 2024 is located in SILN Bangkok, Thailand. The challenges faced by the partner include suboptimal utilization of technology and digitalization in the development of educational media. This condition serves as the basis for community service implementation, where the research team possesses specific expertise in educational institution management, particularly the issues faced by institutions in SILN Bangkok. Based on the priority issues faced by the partner, the agreed-upon method is training. In addition to direct training, the method used includes online mentoring to help the partner develop engaging and innovative educational media. The mandatory outcomes are Mass Media News and Activity Videos. The results obtained indicate that SILN Bangkok partners have gained an improvement in understanding and skills related to the quality of educational media using the Canva platform through 32 hours of training and mentoring, both online and offline, and have received a satisfaction indicator in the "satisfactory" category. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah Manajemen Peserta Didik di Angkatan 2019 (Kelas A dan B) melalui platform Google Classroom dan pengembangan bahan ajar mahasiswa untuk membantu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi perkuliahan Manajemen Peserta Didik. Hal ini sangat penting karena dengan menggunakan platform Google Classroom dan didukung dengan bahan ajar dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam belajar dan diskusi meskipun tidak tatap muka secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah ADD (Analysis, Design, Development) bahan ajar mahasiswa dan pemanfaatan platform Google Classroom untuk pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

The transformation of learning through the integration of classical and digital methods is a necessity in responding to the challenges of 21st century education. This study aims to examine the implementation and impact of the blended learning model in the FIP UNESA Education Management Study Program, as well as formulate an ideal integrated learning model. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data was analyzed thematically by linking the findings with education management theory and learning technology. The results show that the use of technology such as LMS, collaborative applications, and interactive media has increased the accessibility and flexibility of student learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, lecturer readiness, and digital literacy gap are still obstacles. The research recommends an interaction-based blended learning model supported by infrastructure support, lecturer capacity building, and varied and relevant digital content, to ensure the quality and sustainability of learning in higher education environments.

Abstract

In the context of the Independent Curriculum, the Educational Unit Operational Curriculum (KOSP) aims to facilitate educational units in implementing competency development-based education which prioritizes developing students' abilities in a dynamic, complex and systematic manner. The aim of the service is to facilitate the preparation of KOSP at the Indonesian School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The method for implementing service in training for preparing operational curricula in Education Units (KOSP) is using the Goad model, (1982: 11) through several stages whose training cycle consists of: Analysis of training needs, Design of training approaches, Development of training materials, Implementation of training, and Evaluation and training updates. The results of service in the form of training show that; (1) needs analysis was extracted from school principals and teachers at SIKL and resulted in an urgent need for the development of KOSP to be implemented. (2) the training design is designed comprehensively; starting from pre-training, post-training, (3) The material developed consists of theory and practice which includes basic concepts, principles, components and steps for preparing KOSP. (4) the implementation of the training is guided by experienced resource persons and facilitators using adequate methods and media. (5) the evaluation used measures the quality of the material, sources and methods used and the results are very good and satisfactory. Future recommendations are to always improve the quality and strengthen the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the SIKL Malaysia.

Abstract

The partner for community service in 2025 is SILN Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The issue faced by the partner is the suboptimal utilization of technology and digitalization in managing the institution. This condition serves as the basis for the implementation of community service, wherein the research team has specific expertise in the management of educational institutions, particularly the challenges faced by educational institutions at SILN Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Based on the priority issues faced by the partner, the method agreed upon by the PKM team and the partner is Training and mentorship. In addition to direct training, the method used is online mentoring until the partner can prepare the standard operating procedures with the help of the Bizagi Modeler application. The mandatory outputs include Articles in the Journal of Community Service: Transformation and Innovation, Media News, and Activity Videos. The results obtained indicate that the SIM Makkah partners have achieved an enhanced understanding and skills regarding the quality of academic service procedures (SOP) through training and mentoring over 32 hours, both online and offline. Consequently, a level of satisfaction regarding the implementation of the training and mentoring has been achieved in the 'satisfactory' category. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between service quality and student intention behaviour in Higher Education Institutions. This research used a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The online questionnaire was distributed to 110 State University of Surabaya students following the cluster random sampling. In this research, data gathered was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed a significant positive correlation between higher education service quality and student intention behavior. The better service quality provided linier withlinearnt intention behavior fobehaviourending and their intention to loyal in in the institutton. This study's findings remind us to improve the quality dimension as a key factor in attracting and retaining students to student education Institutions.Â
