This research method is a correlation analytic research with crosssectional approach. Sampling techniques in this study using purposive sampling. This research sample is all mothers with infants aged 7 to 12 months in TiparKidul village Puskesmas Ajibarang I as many as 40 respondents. Measuringinstruments used are KPSP and type of data is primary data. Results of this research was the respondents did not provide exclusivebreastfeeding by 23 respondents (57.5%). Most of the baby's development isappropriate as much as 18 respondents (45%). Abstract

The prevalence of cervical cancer is widely available in developing countries like Indonesia with a total incidence of 40-45 new cases per day. Cervical cancer usually affects women whoare already sexually active, especially who have many sexual partners and having sex at theage under 20 years old. Cervical cancer is the first cancer killer among other cancers in womenwith cervical cancer mortality by 20-25 cases per day. Therefore we need proper treatment toovercome. Chemotherapy is one of the management of cervical cancer with distant metastases andlocal or regional recurrence that does not respond to surgery or radiation therapy.Chemotherapy can cause side effects, both physically and psychologically for the client. One ofthe psychological effect is decreased quality of life. The purpose of this research is to describe the quality of life for clients who undergochemotherapy for cervical cancer based on age and stage of the cancer in the room BougenvilHospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. This study uses quantitative and descriptive analytic design with cross sectional approach.Sampling using accidental sampling technique using a questionnaire which was distributed to23 respondents. Abstract

Breastfeeding is the best way to provide nutrition for infants aged <6months. Exclusive breastfeeding can begin with the process of early breastfeedinginitiation (IMD). IMD will greatly help boost the immune system of infants aged 1month. Giving late initiation of breastfeeding may increase the risk of death by 24times.Therefore,exclusivebreastfeedingissupportedbytheimplementationof theIMDinwomenafterchildbirth.Themethodusedisanalyticcorrelationbased on primary data taken using a questionnaire to the 71 respondents who hadinfants aged 7-12 months in the village Twinning Wetan Purbalingga. Motherswith infants aged 7-12 months, 52.1% had done IMD, amounting to 62.0% havebeen successful exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months. Based on the results of thestatistical test Chi Square obtain p-value = 1.000 (> 0.1), meaning Ho acceptedand Ha rejected. This shows that there is no correlation between the IMD to thesuccess of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who had infants aged 7-12 monthsin the village Twinning Wetan Purbalingga. There was no relationship betweenthe IMD to the success of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who had infantsaged 7-12 months in the village Twinning Wetan Purbalingga. Suggested tomidwives in order to further improve maternal health education on theimportance of exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months although notthrough IMD beforehand. Abstract

Abstract

Young elderly dominate the prevalence of the elderly in Indonesia with the age of 60-69 at 63.39%, then the middle elderly with the age of 70-79 years by 27.92% and the elderly aged 80 years and over by 8.69%. Functional changes in the elderly are decreased cognitive function, resulting in changes in the structure of brain function. This will be seen in the elderly who have impaired orientation, attention, concentration, thinking, remembering, and language. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and cognitive function of the elderly. This research uses correlational analytic method and cross sectional approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire and the cognitive function of the elderly was measured by the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 92 elderly respondents. Statistical analysis used is frequency distribution and chi-square. This research shows that elderly with light physical activity mostly have cognitive impairment, that is 39 people (42.4%). The results of the analysis showed that the p-value was 0.00 < 0.05 so that there was a relationship between physical activity and cognitive function of the elderly. Physical activity reduces the incidence of various vascular disease factors such as hypertension, obesity, and diabetes. Cardiovascular function can be improved with intense physical activity. As blood flow increases, oxygen transport to the brain increases. Cognitive function of the elderly can be maintained with regular physical activity so that it remains at a good level.
