Abstract

A series of studies shows the influence of sleep on quality of sleep position. Setting theposition of sleep is one of the nursing actions that aim to reduce breathlessness and meetpatient needs rest so as to obtain good quality sleep. This study aims to determine the qualityof sleep in a sleeping position facing to the right in congestive heart failure patients.Comparative descriptive study with a population of congestive heart failure patients withoutCOPD. The sample size of 16 respondents consecutive sampling and sampling techniques. The instrument used was obserbvasi sheet and a video recorder as well as kuasioner ThePittsburgh Sleep QualityIndex (PSQI). The results of measuring the quality of sleep in anumeric scale and analysis of different test used is Independent sample t test. The resultsshowed a mean score of sleep quality treatment groups smaller than the control group(respectively 6.75 and 10.5). Results obtained independent t-test p 0.015 <α. Conclusion: Nodifference in sleep quality scores between the treatment group and the control group, statistically significant. Thus, the quality of sleep of heart failure patients were skewed rightkongstif better than sleeping position facing in addition to the right. This study is a case control study using a quantitative approach. The data wereobtained using a questionnaire. Samples were 33 clients hospitalization in inpatientmedicine dr. R Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Statistical test using frequencydistribution and chi square test with significance α = 0.05. The results showed the majority of respondents who have hypertension are clients aged40-50 years, female, obese, and have diets are at risk. The results also showed asignificant relationship between the diet and the incidence of hypertension in which p =0.000 (p <0.05) with a risk estimate of 5.714. The conclusion from this research that the clients who have diets are at risk of having atendency of 5.714 times more likely to have hypertension compared with respondents whohave diets are not at risk. Background: As care provider, the nurses providing nursing care service to helpimprove respiratory function COPD patients. Objectives: To investigate the influence of CKD position and CKD positiontoward PLB to increased respiratory Functions of COPD patients. Methods: An experimental study was design randomized control trial pre-post testwith control group technique among 33 COPD patients. Result: This study found that there is not significant difference between beforeintervention group and after intervention group with the p-value > α. Conclusion: The CKD position and PLB therapy are more effective than CKDposision or semi-flower to decrease the problem of dipsnea. Three-day-treatmentof CKD posision and PLB done continually is as effective as the CKD position ofsingle treatment to increase SaO2 and to increase RR respectively than that withsemi fowler position. keywords: RR, SaO2, Problem of dipnea, Quantity exhaled air, COPD, PLB, theposition of CKD

Abstract

One of hemodialisa complication is the increase of blood pressure. Some of research show that music therapy can decrease blood pressure. The purpose is to know the influence of music therapy to thedecrease of blood pressure in post hemodialisa patients. Research design is quasy eksperiment designnon equivalent control group. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample of the researchwere 20 respondents (as control group, and experiment group). The data taken measurement of bloodpressure before and after music therapy. The analysis used are difference test and logistic regression. The results show that there is difference sistolik of blood pressure on the experiment group and thereisn’t difference on the control group ((p = 0,001 < 0,05) , (p = 0,180 > 0,05)), there isn’t differencediastolik of blood pressure on the experiment group and there isn’t difference on the control group ((p =0,343 > 0,05), (p = infinite)), there isn’t difference sistolik of blood pressure before and after betwe enexperiment group with control group (p = 0,175 > 0,05), (p = 0,055), there isn’t difference diastolik ofblood pressure before and after between experiment group with control group ((p = 0,231 > 0,05), (p =0,299 > 0,05)), there is relationship sistolik of blood pressure on hemodialisa patients, how manyinfluence can’t presumably because OR can’t uncountable (p = 0,000, OR uncountable). The result ofthis research shows there is not the influence of music therapy to the decrease of blood pressure in posthemodialisa patients. Keywords: Music therapy, blood pressure
