Abstract

Among teenagers or adults, body shape greatly affects a person's confidence. Most people will be very confident if their body shape is ideal, where the person will be very confident speaking in public. Different things with people who have a body shape that is too thin/fat, so their confidence is less to appear in public. To get the ideal body shape they will do everything possible, one of which is dieting, taking weight loss capsules, and so on. They do not know the dangers of dieting too strictly and taking weight loss capsules carelessly which can make them contract Nervosa disease. To get the results of the expert system, the case-based reasoning method will be used. After this application is built, the result obtained is the type of nervosa disease based on the symptoms felt by the user.

Abstract

In the era of intense business globalization, supply chain management is becoming a vital key to improving the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. The selection of raw material supply staff is an important aspect of supply chain management, affecting smooth supply, efficiency and cost control. This research focuses on using the preference selection index (PSI) method in the selection of raw material supply staff. PSI is a tool that integrates data from multiple criteria in the selection process. The results show that PSI provides an effective evaluation in staff selection, identifies key variables that affect selection success and analyzes the impact of using PSI on supply chain efficiency and company productivity. This research fills the knowledge gap in the application of PSI in the context of raw material supply staff selection and contributes to the understanding of efficient and sustainable supply chain management. The results provide valuable insights for industries and organizations that depend on reliable raw material supply and demonstrate the potential to improve the overall staff selection process. The outcome of this study found that Muliyono received a PSI score of 0.9643 and was ranked first, while Ramli received a PSI score of 0.9548 and was ranked second.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang ditandai oleh kompleksitas interaksi sosial daring, analisis kepribadian menjadi semakin penting untuk berbagai aplikasi, mulai dari sistem rekomendasi hingga pengembangan antarmuka adaptif. Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan bagaimana mengidentifikasi kepribadian individu secara otomatis berdasarkan konteks acara, baik formal maupun informal, yang memengaruhi ekspresi perilaku dan gaya komunikasi. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, diterapkan pendekatan klasifikasi menggunakan Teorema Bayes yang mampu mengakomodasi ketidakpastian serta memberikan inferensi probabilistik atas fitur-fitur observasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun model klasifikasi kepribadian kontekstual dengan memperhitungkan aspek gaya bahasa, tema pembicaraan, serta dinamika emosional dalam suatu acara. Hasil sementara dari penerapan metode ini menunjukkan bahwa pada rule K3, kategori kepribadian Agreeableness Tinggi memiliki nilai probabilitas tertinggi sebesar 0,9 atau 90%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, solusi gaya yang disarankan adalah Gaya Formal Klasik dan Kasual Santai yang selaras dengan preferensi kepribadian tersebut dalam situasi sosial tertentu. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan sistem cerdas yang bersifat user-aware dan context-sensitive, serta membuka peluang untuk eksplorasi lanjutan dalam bidang psikologi komputasional dan klasifikasi perilaku berbasis data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas analisis kesehatan tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L) menggunakan algoritma Random Forest. Data yang digunakan meliputi suhu, kelembapan tanah, dan intensitas cahaya, yang dikumpulkan secara periodik. Label status tanaman ditentukan berdasarkan ambang batas tertentu: “Sehat” jika kelembapan ≥ 60%, suhu antara 28–34°C, dan intensitas cahaya ≥ 700 lux; “Stres” jika kelembapan < 45% atau cahaya < 700 lux; serta “Perlu Disiram” untuk kondisi lainnya. Model Random Forest digunakan untuk mempelajari hubungan antara parameter lingkungan dan status tanaman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, mengindikasikan bahwa algoritma ini efektif dalam mengklasifikasikan kondisi tanaman. Pendekatan ini dapat membantu petani dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi perawatan tanaman sawi.

Abstract

The current job search process often involves posting an announcement on paper or a banner on a notice board, or in front of the company’s location. Another common method is through job search applications, such as JobStreet and others. The first method has a drawback because people may not know when the job posting is published. Meanwhile, with the second method, many people hesitate to use these applications as they feel their skills may not be sufficient. To address these issues, an Android or web-based job search application is proposed to facilitate job sharing and job seeking within a nearby area, specifically within a single subdistrict. This application is targeted at individuals with a high school education level or lower, and the jobs shared are typically daily work requiring minimal skills, such as construction work, electrical repairs, gardening, cleaning, and similar tasks. A sorting algorithm will be implemented to help select the nearest and most suitable candidate for each job. To access the application, users must first register, enabling employers to post jobs and workers to find suitable positions.

Abstract

Pada saat ini banyak sekali pabrik yang memiliki kualitas alat baik dan mendukung dalam proses pekerjaan manusia. Pemilihan alat yang baik merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi sebagian investor besar pada pabrik-pabrik di indonesia, pasti membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama dalam menentukan pemilihan alat yang diinginkan, apalagi dengan harga yang tidak murah. Sama hal  pada pabrik kelapa sawit yang dimana proses pengelolahan sawit hingga menjadi minyak sangatlah panjang. Pada penelitian ini penulis bermaksud menciptakan sebuah sistem aplikasi terkait pemilihan mesin yang baik serta akurat untuk jenis mesin pemotong drum boiler pada PT Andalas Stell menggunakan metode Oreste, yang berdasarkan perbandingan data ketahanan mesin dan dana perawatan serta kemudahan menggunakan alat tersebut

Abstract

This research analyzes the application of the Multi Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method model in determining the Pilot Area at PT XYZ. This method is used to evaluate various performance criteria, including customer satisfaction, productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency. Currently, the Pilot Area assessment and selection process at PT XYZ is still done manually, which causes a lack of accuracy and efficiency. MOORA was chosen for its ability to handle multi-criteria decision-making problems more systematically and objectively. The analysis results showed that Alternative Area 7 obtained the highest final score of 0.39, placing it as an area with superior performance. The application of MOORA is proven to improve accuracy and efficiency in the Pilot Area determination process, providing a more objective basis for decision-making. By using MOORA, PT XYZ can evaluate area performance more comprehensively and accountably. This research recommends that PT XYZ implement the MOORA method thoroughly and conduct periodic evaluations of the methods used. For theory development, PT XYZ can add specific evaluation criteria according to company needs. The implementation of these suggestions is expected to improve the quality of service and competitiveness of PT XYZ in the global market. Further research is expected to compare MOORA with other methods to strengthen the validity of the results. Thus, this research not only provides a practical contribution to PT XYZ but also adds academic insight into the application of multi-criteria optimization methods in the context of performance management and service improvement.

Abstract

Kampung Sejahtera is a densely populated area in the river basin of Medan City which often faces challenges in overcoming the spread of false information or hoaxes which can cause confusion and social loss. The lack of digital literacy among their members exacerbates this situation, so efforts are needed to improve their ability to manage digital information effectively. This service aims to optimize digital literacy among Kampung Sejahtera members in order to tackle the spread of hoaxes. Specifically, this service evaluates the current level of digital literacy, identifies types of hoaxes that often circulate, and develops and implements effective digital literacy programs. The effectiveness of the program is evaluated through post-training surveys and observation of member behavior after training. The service shows that members' initial digital literacy level is relatively low, especially in the ability to identify and counter hoaxes. The most frequently spread hoaxes include false information about health, politics and sensational news. After participating in the digital literacy training program, it is hoped that there will be a significant increase in members' ability to recognize and reduce the spread of hoaxes. They become more critical and careful in verifying information before sharing it. Optimizing digital literacy through appropriate training programs has proven effective in tackling hoaxes in Kampung Sejahtera.

Abstract

Abstract: This research applies the Multi Objective Optimization On the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to determine the appropriate extracurricular activity recommendations at XYZ School, aiming to facilitate data-driven decision-making in selecting extracurricular activities that align with students' interests and talents. The methodology includes data collection through observation and interviews, followed by the application of the MOORA method to process data on students' interests, talents, creativity, and potential involvement in extracurricular activities. The results show that the application of the MOORA method produces objective and systematic rankings of the available extracurricular activities based on the established criteria. The Scouting activity, with the highest value (Yi = 0.4821), was found to be the most suitable activity for students' profiles, followed by Arts and Paskibra. The MOORA method proves effective in providing more accurate and efficient extracurricular activity recommendations, addressing issues in previous subjective and ad-hoc decision-making processes. This study concludes that the application of MOORA can enhance the quality of decisions in selecting extracurricular activities, potentially enriching students' experiences and skill development.Keyword: MOORA; Extracurricular recommendations; Decision-making; Decision support system; Education.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan metode Multi Objective Optimization On the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) untuk menentukan rekomendasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tepat di Sekolah XYZ, dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah pengambilan keputusan berbasis data mengenai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat siswa. Metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara, serta penerapan metode MOORA untuk mengolah data mengenai minat, bakat, kreativitas, dan potensi keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode MOORA dapat menghasilkan peringkat yang objektif dan sistematis terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tersedia, berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Kegiatan Pramuka, dengan nilai tertinggi (Yi = 0,4821), dinilai sebagai kegiatan yang paling sesuai dengan profil minat dan bakat siswa, diikuti oleh Kesenian dan Paskibra. Metode MOORA terbukti efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang lebih tepat dan efisien, mengatasi masalah pemilihan yang sebelumnya bersifat subjektif dan ad-hoc. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan MOORA dapat meningkatkan kualitas keputusan dalam pemilihan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, yang berpotensi memperkaya pengalaman dan pengembangan keterampilan siswa.Kata kunci: MOORA; Rekomendasi ekstrakurikuler; Pengambilan keputusan; Sistem pendukung keputusan; Pendidikan.

Abstract

Language serves as a vital medium in oral traditions—not only for communication but also as a vehicle for transmitting values and reinforcing collective identity. The Basarang ritual in Nagari Kasang, Minangkabau, is a traditional ceremony performed to commemorate the birth of kembar sumbang (twins of opposite sex) and to restore social and cultural harmony within the community. Despite its cultural richness, linguistic studies on Basarang remain scarce compared to other Minangkabau traditions. This research investigates the functions of language in the Basarang ritual through Roman Jakobson’s (1960) model of language functions, employing a qualitative framework and an ethnography of communication approach (Spradley, 1997; Duranti, 1997). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of ritual utterances, mamang (chants), pantun (poetic verses), and prayers. The analysis categorizes linguistic expressions according to Jakobson’s six language functions—referential, emotive, conative, phatic, metalingual, and poetic—allowing systematic interpretation of their realization in ritual discourse. Findings reveal that language in Basarang functions not merely as a communicative tool but as a symbolic medium that legitimizes customary law, nurtures social solidarity, and transmits moral and cultural values. This study extends Jakobson’s framework by embedding it within the ethnolinguistic context of Minangkabau ritual discourse, offering contributions to both linguistic theory and cultural preservation.
