Abstract

Dampak adanya pandemi COVID-19 masih dirasakan oleh kelas masyarakat tertentu walau pemerintah telah menyatakan Pandemi telah berakhir. Hal ini juga dialami oleh mayoritas warga Kampung Cibangun Kaler, Kelurahan Ciherang, Kecamatan Cibeureum, Kota Tasikmalaya. Mayoritas pemuda menganggur karena dirumahkan di masa Covid-19 dan kurang mampu berkreasi serta berinovasi dalam aktivitas yang mampu memberikan nilai ekonomis bagi masyarakat. Hal ini berdampak pada ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa di kampung sasaran tersebut terdapat empang/kolam ikan dalam skala mikro dan rumah tangga. Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut tim pengabdian melaksanakan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk melatih membudidayakan Ikan air tawar menggunakan M-Bio. Sasaran Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah perwakilan pemuda yang berlokasi di Kampung Cibangun Kaler, Kelurahan Ciherang, Kecamatan Cibeureum, Kota Tasikmalaya yang tergabung dalam kelompok remaja masjid, karang taruna, serta warga yang memiliki kolam. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan Desember 2022. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan Langsung meliputi tahapan Penyampaian Materi, Praktek, serta Pemantauan. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi menunjukkan mitra telah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup terhadap penggunaan M-Bio sebagai booster dalam pakan ikan. Peserta juga telah mampu mempraktikkan budi daya ikan dengan M-Bio. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk ketahanan pangan dengan memanfaatkan M-Bio untuk pakan ikan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai indikator keberhasilan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait budi daya ikan air tawar dengan M-Bio diharapkan menjadi pemicu untuk memulai dan mengelola usaha ikan air tawar secara mandiri dengan hasil yang lebih baik.The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is still being felt by certain classes of people even though the government has declared the pandemic has ended. Most residents of Kampung Cibangun Kaler, Ciherang Village, Cibeureum District, and Tasikmalaya City also experience this. Most young people are unemployed because they are at home during the Covid-19 period and are less able to be creative and innovate in activities that can provide economic value to society. This has an impact on community food security. The observations showed that there were ponds/fish ponds on the micro and household scale in the target villages. Based on these conditions, the community service team conducted Community Service, which aimed to train freshwater fish cultivation using M-Bio. The Community Service targets youth representatives in Cibangun Kaler Village, Ciherang Village, Cibeureum District, Tasikmalaya City, who are members of a youth group for mosques, youth organizations, and residents who own fish ponds. Community Service Activities will be carried out from August to December 2022. Community Service is carried out using the Direct Counseling and Training method includes the stages of Material Submission, Practice, and Monitoring. Monitoring and evaluation results show partners have a sufficient understanding of using M-Bio as a booster in fish feed. Participants have also been able to practice fish farming with M-Bio. Community service activities for food security by utilizing M-Bio for fish feed have been carried out properly and smoothly according to indicators. Implementing community service activities related to freshwater fish farming with M-Bio is expected to be a trigger to start and manage freshwater fish businesses independently with better results.

Abstract

Learning activities tend to be teacher-centered with conventional learning methods. In addition, the indicators trained are limited to C4 (analyzing) indicators. This has an impact on students' higher order thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of the conceptual understanding procedures learning model on students' higher order thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental research method with a quantitative research approach. The type of research design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were students science class in senior high school with a study population of 205 students. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used was a description test of 7 questions then measured using the t test. The results showed that the Conceptual Comprehension Procedure learning model had a significant effect on students' higher order thinking skills. This research has implications for the student learning process so that it can become an evaluation lesson for teachers to improve the quality of learning, especially with regard to training students' higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning model learning cycle 5e practicum-based critical thinking skills on mechanical wave material. The low ability of critical thinking is a problem experienced by students of Class XI science, which was the background for researchers to use the 5e learning cycle model based on practicum. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design; the sample was determined using a cluster random sampling technique from a population of 180. Testing data using normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. The findings indicated that t_count = 7.31 and t_table = t ((0.995) (65)) = 2.65. The fact that H_0 is rejected and H_a is approved shows that the practicum-based 5E learning cycle learning model impacts students' critical thinking abilities about mechanical wave content. This is because the value of t_hitung > t_tabel. This is so that students may practice critical thinking skills at various phases of the practicum-based 5E learning cycle learning model. Students get instruction in the fundamentals of clarification at the phases of engagement, investigation, explanation, and elaboration. Students get instruction in inquiry, explanation, elaboration, and assessment as they pertain to the fundamental factors of the choice. Students get instruction in the investigation and explanation phases of the conclusion element. The benefit of this study is that it may serve as a reference for future studies on the impact of the 5E learning cycle's practicum-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities about mechanical wave content.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental foundation in the development of society and the nation. In the educational process, teachers play an important role in shaping the younger generation to support a nation's quality human resources. However, prospective teachers in Indonesia currently face various challenges and high expectations. Society's expectations of teachers as agents of change in the educational process often exceed the understanding and readiness of prospective teacher students. This is further exacerbated by the recent phenomenon of the hashtag #JanganJadiGuru on Platform X, highlighting concerns related to demands for fair salaries, proportional teacher workloads, and appropriate recognition. Adequate knowledge about the teaching profession and a realistic understanding of the expectations that prospective teacher students will face are crucial. However, in reality, prospective teachers' knowledge about the teaching profession, requirements, and professional expectations is often limited or inaccurate, affecting the learning process. The purpose of this research is to investigate the career knowledge of prospective teacher students and their expectations towards the teaching profession. This research was conducted in the city of Tasikmalaya with the research subjects being prospective teacher students, with respondents consisting of 27 from Universitas Siliwangi, 17 from Universitas Perjuangan, 21 from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and 11 from Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya, making a total of 76 respondents. In this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach supported by a qualitative approach. Based on the conducted research, we can state that there is a significant possibility of a halo effect on the teaching profession. The positive image associated with the teaching profession, such as being unsung heroes, nation character builders, and pillars of education, tends to create high expectations for this profession. However, behind these positive aspects, there are also complex realities and significant challenges.

Abstract

Transportasi Antar Kota Antar Provinsi (AKAP) merupakan tulang punggung mobilitas masyarakat antar wilayah di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah Kalimantan yang memiliki tantangan geografis signifikan. Sistem transportasi yang andal, efisien, dan dapat diakses oleh masyarakat menjadi kunci kepuasan pengguna transportasi umum serta mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi regional. Namun, kinerja AKAP pada trayek Kalimantan Timur-Kalimantan Selatan masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan terkait pelayanan, kenyamanan, ketepatan waktu, dan keselamatan yang berimplikasi pada tingkat aksesibilitas masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja transportasi AKAP, mengevaluasi pengaruh pelayanan, kenyamanan, ketepatan waktu, dan keselamatan terhadap aksesibilitas, serta merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan perbaikan dengan penekanan khusus pada trayek Kalimantan Timur - Kalimantan Selatan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari 100 pengguna AKAP rute Samarinda-Banjarmasin dengan memberikan kuisioner terstruktur dan analisis statistik selanjutnya menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kinerja transportasi AKAP, dengan ketepatan waktu, keselamatan, dan kenyamanan sebagai faktor paling dominan. Analisis deskriptif mengungkapkan kesenjangan antara kinerja aktual (skor 3,41-3,75) dan harapan penumpang (skor ?4,0), dengan aspek keselamatan dan ketepatan waktu memerlukan prioritas perbaikan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi operator transportasi dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kualitas layanan AKAP yang komprehensif dan berbasis bukti empiris.

Abstract

Pendidikan STEM adalah pendekatan interdisiplin Sains, Teknologi, Keteknikan, dan Matematika dalam konteks saling keterkaitan untuk menyiapkan peserta didik menghadapi perkembangan Sains dan Teknologi serta mampu menyelesaikan masalah. Proses pembelajaran dalam konteks integrasi STEM adalah inti pendidikan STEM. Perancangan proses pembelajaran membutuhkan pedoman yang memuat prinsip dan landasan teoritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah model-model pembelajaran STEM yang di-design untuk pembelajaran STEM. Kajian dilakukan pada model PjBL-STEM Learning, 6E Learning by DeSIGNâ„¢, dan PIRPOSAL yang dimuat pada artikel ilmiah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran STEM perlu dilandasi oleh teori belajar kognitivisme dan sosio-konstruktivisme. Selanjutnya, prinsip-prinsip pada proses pembelajaran STEM adalah prinsip proses desain, prinsip proses inkuiri, berpusat pada masalah, berorientasi kooperatif, dan integrasi materi ajar. Prinsip-prinsip yang telah teridentifikasi akan bermanfaat untuk menunjang pengembangan model pembelajaran integrasi STEM.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis instrumen soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada tema perubahan iklim . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan mengembangkan instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah tema perubahan iklim sebanyak delapan soal berbentuk esai. Responden berasal dari 54 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika di salah satu kampus di kota Tasikmalaya. Analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak (software) Winstep versi 4.00. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini yaitu pemodelan Rasch. Hasil analisis dengan pemodelan Rasch menunjukan nilai 0,50 logit untuk person reliability dan 0,98 logit untuk item reliability yang menunjukan bahwa item instrumen yang dibuat termasuk kriteria istimewa. Meskipun ada dua soal S3 dan S7 yang memerlukan perbaikan. Nilai raw variance sebesar 23,4% menunjukan bahwa syarat validitas konstruk data dikotomi terpenuhi, hal ini diperkuat oleh nilai separation 6,61 yang menunjukkan item soal ini mempunyai sebaran respon yang baik dan dapat mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada tema perubahan iklim sehingga dapat digunakan untuk penelitian

Abstract

Abstract—This study discusses the implementation of trajectory tracking on a differential drive mobile robot using the odometry method. The system was designed by utilizing rotary encoders to estimate the robot’s position and a proportional controller to regulate movement toward the target point. Experiments were carried out on multi-point trajectories, namely three-way and four-way paths, under two different surface conditions: flat and textured fields. The results showed that the robot was able to follow the predetermined path with a relatively high level of accuracy, especially on flat surfaces. However, on textured paths, the accuracy decreased due to wheel slip and disturbances in encoder readings. The comparison between both conditions emphasizes that surface characteristics have a significant influence on the performance of odometry-based trajectory tracking. Abstract

Abstract The development of science and technology today is spreading rapidly in the field of education, especially in the development of learning media. The application of learning media using behavioristic approach that tends to optimize the stimulus and learners' response in process (science process skill). The purpose of this research is a) to describe the application of interactive multimedia teaching materials to the students 'science process skills and b) to know the impact of interactive multimedia materials on the students' learning process skill. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental Research by using one-shot case study design. Implementation of research product in field can develop skill of science process learners based on result of T test 2,229 significance of 0.056. It is expected that further research to determine the positive response of learners. Abstrak Perkembangan IPTEKS dewasa ini menyebar secara cepat dibidang pendidikan khususnya dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran. Penerapan media pembelajaran tersebut menggunakan pendekatan behavioristik yang cenderung mengoptimalkan stimulus dan respon peserta didik dalam proses (keterampilan proses sains). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu a) untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dan b) untuk mengetahui dampak bahan ajar multimedia interaktif terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Pre-Eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain one shot case study. Implementasi produk penelitian dilapangan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik berdasarkan hasil Uji T sebesar 2.229 signifikansi 0.056 . Diharapkan adanya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui respon positif peserta didik.
