Abstract

Vocabulary is one components of language. Vocabulary is one of the most important things to make our communication be fluent. One of component that links the listening, speaking, reading is vocabulary.. The objective of the research is to find out whether or not the use of riddle can improve the vocabulary of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare. The research applied quasi-experimental method with two classes, experimental class and control class. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare in academic year 2017/2018. The total number of population were 278 students and two classes of nine classes taken as sample by using cluster random sampling. The total number instrument of the pre-test and post-test of this research were 20 number which divide into 10 match the words, 5 multiple choice and 5 fill in the blank. The result of data analysis shows that the students vocabulary improved. It was showed by the mean score of pre-test was 6,5 and post-test 85.83. it shows that the use mind mapping can improve the students vocabulary of the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare.. After analyzing the data by using the test formula, the result of t-test value in post-test was 0,665 and t-table value was 2.000. It means that t-test value 0,665 was higher than t-table value 2.000. Those indicates that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted and the students who were taught by using riddle is better than the students who were taught by using text book.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Arabic language learning program implemented under the Merdeka Curriculum at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Makassar, using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data were collected through observations and interviews with the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs and Arabic language teachers. The data were analyzed qualitatively, drawing on the analytical framework developed by Miles and Huberman. The program’s effectiveness was assessed through the four key components of the CIPP model. The findings reveal that the context aspect – pertaining to program planning – has been achieved in accordance with the established indicators. However, the input dimension indicates that while the school has sufficient capacity to support program implementation, improvements are needed in curriculum development, which should involve more collaborative efforts. The processaspect is rated as moderately effective, although issues remain in time management and in facilitating students’ self-reflection on their ongoing learning needs. The product aspect demonstrates satisfactory learning outcomes; nonetheless, students' proficiency in Arabic language skills remains relatively low. This is attributed to their diverse educational backgrounds, including those from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and public elementary schools. These results underscore the need for targeted improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Arabic language learning program within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran Bahasa Arab berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka di a Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri in Makassar dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang ditujukan kepada Wakil Kepala Madrasah bagian kurikulum dan guru Bahasa Arab. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Aspek keberhasilan dievaluasi melalui empat komponen utama model CIPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek context atau perencanaan program telah tercapai sesuai indikator, namun perlu perbaikan dalam penyusunan kurikulum yang seharusnya dilakukan secara tim. Aspek input menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas madrasah mendukung pelaksanaan program. Aspek process dinilai cukup baik, namun masih ditemukan kekurangan dalam pengelolaan waktu dan pelibatan peserta didik dalam refleksi kebutuhan belajar berkelanjutan. Aspek product memperlihatkan hasil yang cukup baik dari sisi nilai pembelajaran, tetapi penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab masih rendah, dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan peserta didik yang beragam, baik dari madrasah ibtidaiyah maupun sekolah dasar. Temuan ini menekankan perlunya peningkatan dalam beberapa aspek untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program pembelajaran bahasa arab berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah transformasi pelaut Kajuara dari pelaku subsistensi menjadi local entrepreneurs maritim yang menghubungkan ekonomi pesisir Bone dengan pasar regional. Melalui pendekatan history from below dan metode sejarah—heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi tematik, dan historiografi—data dikumpulkan lewat wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif di pelabuhan, penelusuran daftar kapal (GT, pemilik, rute), arsip lokal, dan statistik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan model kepemilikan bervariasi—individual, keluarga, dan komunal—yang mencerminkan perpaduan logika kapital dan modal sosial berbasis kekerabatan serta nilai budaya Bugis (siri’ na pesse). Faktor internal (keterampilan navigasi, etos kerja, modal sosial, kepemilikan kapal) dan eksternal (ketersediaan sumber daya Teluk Bone, kebijakan publik, perubahan iklim, persaingan pasar) secara bersama membentuk pola adaptasi dan inovasi usaha, termasuk diversifikasi kegiatan, modifikasi perahu, pembentukan koperasi. Transformasi ini mendorong mobilitas sosial vertikal dan horizontal—dari buruh nelayan menjadi pemilik kapal, agen dagang, atau pelaku usaha non-maritim—serta perubahan identitas ekonomi-komunal. Penelitian mengisi kekosongan historiografi maritim dengan menempatkan simpul pelabuhan kecil sebagai aktor kunci dalam jaringan perdagangan Asia Tenggara dan menawarkan implikasi kebijakan untuk penguatan ekonomi pesisir berbasis tradisi maritim, pengelolaan logistik pangan, pembiayaan rantai pasok, dan mitigasi risiko iklim

Abstract

This study aims to determine the background of Bantimurung including the Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park, the development of Bantimurung as a tourist attraction and the impact of the presence of the Bantimurung Nature Tourism Area in 2000-2018. This research is a historical research with a historical methodology that has stages namely, heuristics (data collection), criticism (verification), interpretation (interpretation) and historiography (history writing). The results of this study indicate that the background of Bantimurung enters the Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park, because Bantimurung is a natural area with beautiful scenery that must be protected. Development of the Bantimurung Nature Tourism Area continues to experience development and continue to explore what is in this area including the objects in it. Various efforts have been made by the Department of Tourism both in developing infrastructure and detailed administrative arrangements. The presence of this tourist attraction is as a forum for the community around Maros Regency to support the economy, a place for students to research and become a place of recreation for all people.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate Context implementation of the Adiwiyata Program, Input for program implementation, implementation process and supporting and inhibiting factors, and product from program implementation. This research is evaluative with a qualitative approach using the CIPP evaluation model. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis techniques include collection, reduction, data presentation, and verification, with validation using triangulation and cross-check. The research results show that in aspects Context, There is a need for schools to create a clean, green and comfortable environment, which encourages school participation in the Adiwiyata Program. In aspect Input, the availability of human resources, budget, infrastructure, and program design supports program implementation in schools. In aspect Process, the program has been running according to Adiwiyata guidelines, although there are still challenges in increasing the involvement of all school members. Meanwhile, on aspects Product, The Adiwiyata program has contributed to the formation of an environmentally caring character in schools, although there are still aspects that need to be improved to achieve program sustainability. Factors supporting the success of the program include policy support, involvement of competent human resources, school commitment, budget, and availability of facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the lack of individual awareness in protecting the environment and limited active participation from all school members. This research recommends that schools continue to increase the participation of all school members through intensive mentoring and encourage the role of the Makassar City Environmental Service (DLH) to be more active in supporting the sustainability of the Adiwiyata Program at the SDN Bawakaraeng UPT Complex. Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the KKNI (National Qualifications Framework) and MBKM (Comprehensive Skills Framework)-based curriculum in the Air Navigation Technology Study Program at Makassar Aviation Polytechnic, focusing on its impact on graduate retention in the workforce. Using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model, this quantitative study involved 50 respondents, consisting of current students and alumni. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The results indicate that all four aspects—context, input, process, and product—have a positive and significant impact on graduate retention in the workforce. These findings indicate that the KKNI and MBKM-based curriculum increases the relevance of graduate competencies to industry needs, strengthens partnerships between academia and industry, and enhances graduate readiness for the professional workforce. This study concludes that the implementation of the curriculum has a significant impact on graduates' competitiveness and employability skills in the aviation sector.

Abstract

Penggunaan lagu dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep melalui pengulangan lirik yang memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, hubungan antara medium musik dan pembelajaran telah menjadi objek studi yang signifikan, terutama dalam cara lagu dapat membantu pengajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengkaji, menganalisis, dan mensintesis berbagai studi, artikel, dan sumber lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penerapan media lagu dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa memanfaatkan pengajaran yang berbasis lagu, dapat mengatasi tantangan yang ada dalam lingkungan belajar yang kaku

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana latar belakang dan perkembangan Pesantren DDI Pattojo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui awal mula berdirinya Pesantren DDI Pattojo, sistem kurikulum, tenaga pengajar dan murid/santri, bagaimana dampak terhadap pendidikan, sosial dan ekonomi pada masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang meliputi tahapan sebagai berikut: heuristik yaitu pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, kajian literatur. Kritik yaitu dengan mengkritik, seleksi data dengan cara pengujian mengenai kebenaran dan ketetapan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Intrepretasi yaitu menafsirkan data sesuai kebenaran fakta. Historiografi yaitu menuliskan peristiwa sejarah menjadi cerita utuh. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan Pesantren DDI Pattojo berdampak bagi pendidikan, sosial budaya masyarakat. Dengan keberadaan Pesantren DDI Pattojo kepercayaan-kepercayaan masyarakat sekitar seperti mabbacadoang mulai bergeser. Dalam bidang ekonomi, mengurangi biaya transportasi untuk santri yang berada di sekitarnya. Dalam bidang pendidikan, santri lebih mengenal lebih dalam tentang ajaran Islam.
