Abstract

Getting into the habit of noble morals from an early age is important because it is based on observations. At the same time, researchers at RA Darul Abror have implemented religious and moral values ​​such as example, and advice, and teachers always get used to greetings, smiling at greetings, dhuha prayers which have been running for five years which are held only on Sundays. Friday. However, some children experience a decrease in enthusiasm for carrying out these routine activities, often children do not want to participate in the Duha prayer, and there are even some children who do not want to go to school just because there are Duha prayer activities. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative. There are two data sources, primary and secondary, data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis uses data condensation, presentation, and verification. The results of this study in familiarising students' praiseworthy morals include planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning consists of Prosem, RPPM (Sunday Learning Implementation Plan), RPPH (Daily Learning Implementation Plan), implementation includes exemplary, environment, advice, attention, storytelling, play and habituation, and evaluation. While the supporting factors are family and community environment, professional teachers, cooperation between guardians and teachers, and mobile phones/laptops, inhibiting factors are children's feelings (instincts), limited infrastructure, and school access.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of authentic assessment within the Merdeka Curriculum at RA Darul Abror Brebes and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors involved. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive method with primary data sources including observations, interviews, and documentation, as well as secondary data from RA Darul Abror's internal records. Data analysis is conducted using Miles and Huberman's model, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings indicate that RA Darul Abror has implemented authentic assessment in line with the Merdeka Curriculum, utilizing both formative and summative assessments. Formative assessment is employed to provide feedback and revise the learning process, while summative assessment is used at the end of a period to measure learning outcomes. Assessment instruments include anecdotal records, student work samples, and development checklists. Supporting factors for the implementation of authentic assessment include family support, adequate teacher understanding, cooperation between parents and teachers, and teacher discussions. However, challenges such as insufficient comprehensive understanding of authentic assessment among some teachers and a lack of socialization regarding authentic assessment within the Merdeka Curriculum also exist.

Abstract

Keluarga sebagai unit sosial terkecil menghadapi tantangan modern seperti kurangnya komunikasi, tekanan ekonomi, dan pengaruh teknologi, yang mengganggu keharmonisan, termasuk di Desa Banjarejo, Pekalongan. Penyuluhan keluarga terpadu berbasis nilai Islam ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membangun keluarga harmonis yang sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah, serta memperkuat ketahanan keluarga. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan service learning dengan tiga tahap berupa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan didukung metode dialog tematik. Hasilnya, penyuluhan menguatkan pemahaman warga tentang komunikasi efektif dan nilai-nilai Islam, memperkuat ikatan keluarga, dan mendukung pembentukan keluarga yang harmonis. Meskipun terkendala keterbatasan sumber daya, program ini diterima baik oleh masyarakat. Implikasinya, penyuluhan ini dapat menjadi model untuk wilayah lain, mendukung pembangunan masyarakat yang berakhlak mulia dan stabil secara sosial, dengan potensi replikasi melalui penyesuaian kebutuhan lokal. Kegiatan ini menegaskan peran keluarga sebagai fondasi moral dan ketahanan sosial dalam perspektif Islam.

Abstract

This article is presented from the research results which reveals the achievements of the Research Madrasah Program in developing student achievement at Pekalongan State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN Pekalongan) in terms of input, process, output, and outcome/alumni aspects. By using qualitative research methods and types of field research, as well as data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, the results of this research show that; 1) The Research Madrasa Program at MAN Pekalongan in its implementation has referred to the guidelines for managing research learning in madrasas established by the Director General of Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. 2) The research madrasa program at MAN Pekalongan can be seen from the student recruitment strategy (input). Second, the process of organizing research madrasas (process). Third, the number of students' academic and non-academic achievements (output). Fourth, the distribution of MAN Pekalongan alumni in various PTNs (outcome). MAN Pekalongan as a madrasah conducting research is supported by a conducive learning environment, adequate facilities, high integrity of educators/guides, and transparent and democratic governance so that the learning process runs effectively and results in high student achievement.

Abstract

Marine ecosystem degradation in international border regions has evolved into a multidimensional issue that encompasses ecological, geopolitical, and diplomatic aspects. This study aims to examine how marine environmental degradation affects the foreign policy of maritime countries, particularly Indonesia, and to explore the potential of ecological diplomacy as a strategic approach. Employing a qualitative method through literature review, this research reveals that ecosystem damage in strategic areas such as the North Natuna Sea and the South China Sea not only threatens environmental sustainability but also weakens Indonesia's diplomatic standing due to fragmented maritime governance and weak environmental diplomacy. By integrating ecological considerations into foreign policy, ecological diplomacy can serve as a vital instrument for establishing inclusive and sustainable ocean governance. The study recommends strengthening inter-agency maritime coordination, modernizing marine surveillance, and expanding international cooperation based on shared ecological interests.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the top-down supervision model in Madrasah Tsanawiyah and explore how shifting towards a participatory supervision model can enhance teacher performance. This study is based on the argument that the supervision paradigm needs to be changed to be more sensitive to the needs and aspirations of teachers, considering that teachers in Madrasah Tsanawiyah have great potential but are often hindered by a lack of participation in decision-making. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, collecting data through in- interviews, observation, and documentation. The research findings indicate that a collaborative approach involving active involvement between the principal and teachers in planning and evaluating learning, as well as classroom supervision that ensures the effectiveness of the learning process, instructional supervision that focuses on improving the quality of teaching, constructive feedback that builds, and continuous evaluation to ensure teacher professional development. This study suggests that the shift from a top-down supervision model to a participatory supervision model can enhance teacher performance in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This collaborative approach is expected to strengthen the role of teachers in decision-making, improve the quality of learning, and support the continuous development of teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis dengan dilatarbelakangi oleh masih kurangnya kesadaran dari sebagian peserta didik dalam melaksanakan salat berjemaah. Pelaksanaan program salat berjemaah di sekolah merupakan salah satu usaha untuk melatih pengamalan dan pembinaan salat peserta didik. Dengan demikian, dalam pelaksanaannya, peran guru PAI menjadi penting agar dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap peserta didik. Penguatan yang baik akan berorientasi pada proses pendidikan dengan diterapkannya pembiasaan padapesertadidik. Pembiasaan yang diterapkan di SMP Muhammadiyah Kesesi Kabupaten Pekalongan melalui pembiasaan salat zuhur berjemaah di sekolah. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitiannya adalah studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan didukung analisis data kualitatif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil telaah didapatkan gambaran bahwa terdapat beberapa upaya yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam menanamkan kesadaran salat di SMP Muhammadiyah Kesesi, diantaranya yaitu membuat aturan, suri tauladan (memberi contoh), memberi hukuman kepada peserta didik yang melanggar aturan dan memberi penghargaan kepada peserta didik yang mematuhi aturan. Upaya-upaya ini didukung dengan adanya faktor pendukung seperti adanya aturan, suri tauladan, hukuman dan penghargaan. Sedangkan, di sisi lain terdapat pula faktor penghambat seperti keterbatasan ruang lingkup aturan, keterbatasan waktu guru serta adanya peserta didik yang menyepelekkan hukuman dan penghargaan.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kontribusi Islam dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dengan menelusuri pandangan Islam tentang ilmu serta peran para ilmuwan Muslim dalam membentuk fondasi berbagai disiplin ilmu. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat meliputi: (1) Bagaimana pandangan Islam tentang ilmu pengetahuan? Islam menganggap ilmu sebagai elemen esensial dalam kehidupan, menghubungkan pencarian ilmu dengan ibadah dan peningkatan spiritual. (2) Bagaimana perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan? Dalam sejarah, ilmu pengetahuan berkembang pesat di dunia Islam, terutama pada masa Keemasan Islam, di mana berbagai ilmu seperti matematika, kedokteran, astronomi, dan filsafat mengalami kemajuan signifikan. (3) Bagaimana kontribusi Islam dan ilmuwan Islam dalam ilmu pengetahuan? Ilmuwan seperti Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, dan Al-Razi memberikan kontribusi besar yang menjadi dasar bagi kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan modern. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa peradaban Islam memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan ilmu yang masih relevan hingga saat ini.

Abstract

Pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh telah menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas pendidikan bagi siswa sekolah dasar dan menengah, terutama bagi mereka yang menghadapi hambatan geografis, sosial, ekonomi, atau memiliki kebutuhan khusus. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara teoritis dan praktis peran pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh dalam mendukung pendidikan inklusif. Artikel ini disusun dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis metode studi pustaka dengan menganalisis isi dari sumber-sumber tertulis. Dari hasil kajian didapatkan gambaran bahwa secara teoritis, pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh didasarkan pada prinsip fleksibilitas, aksesibilitas, dan personalisasi pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa belajar sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan mereka. Secara praktis, implementasi pendidikan jarak jauh telah menunjukkan efektivitasnya dalam berbagai konteks, seperti penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran daring, modul cetak, serta media berbasis televisi dan radio. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan tenaga pendidik, dan literasi digital masih menjadi hambatan dalam penerapannya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi inovatif, seperti penguatan kebijakan pendidikan, pelatihan guru, serta peningkatan akses teknologi bagi seluruh siswa. Dengan pendekatan berbasis kajian teoritis dan praktis, pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh tidak hanya menjadi alternatif dalam kondisi tertentu, tetapi juga berperan sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan di tingkat dasar dan menengah yang lebih inklusif dan fleksibel.
