Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMAN 1 Krian. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMAN 1 Krian. Kepala sekolah, melalui pendekatan supervisi yang terarah, mampu memberikan arahan, bimbingan, dan dukungan kepada guru-guru untuk mengembangkan keterampilan pengajaran mereka. Umpan balik yang konstruktif dari kepala sekolah membantu guru-guru dalam mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan area pengembangan, serta memberikan dorongan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka. Selain itu, kepala sekolah yang efektif sebagai supervisor juga mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kolaboratif dan memotivasi guru-guru untuk terus belajar dan mengembangkan keterampilan mereka. Hal ini membantu menciptakan budaya sekolah yang progresif dan inovatif, di mana guru-guru merasa didorong untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka demi kebaikan siswa.

Abstract

The background of this research begins with social life in Ambon City which has various ethnicities, religions, and cultures. This diversity often becomes a challenge as well as an opportunity in the world of education. SMA Negeri 3 Ambon is one of the schools that stands out because it prioritizes the local value of "sibling life" in the management of multicultural education. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of multicultural education management based on the character of sibling life at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that education management at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon integrates the values ​​of sibling life into school policies, student behavioral habits, and also curriculum development and extracurricular activities. Values ​​such as mutual respect, tolerance, and solidarity are part of the school culture and help strengthen relationships between school residents. In conclusion, multicultural education management based on local character at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon has succeeded in creating a harmonious, inclusive, and character-based learning atmosphere and is an example of appropriate education in a diverse society.

Abstract

Learner management can function as a platform that promotes growth, quality, and achievement in educational institutions. Students are effectively supervised and controlled to ensure that educational institutions can accurately assess the progress of students' achievements. Student management is the administrative process that encompasses all actions related to students, starting from their enrollment in school until their graduation. This process involves many tasks such as coaching, planning, evaluation, and transfer. The objective of this study is to ascertain the administrative procedures involved in managing high school students. The study methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing a phenomenon-oriented research technique. The research employs data gathering approaches such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that nearly all schools have successfully implemented student management systems that are tailored to the unique characteristics of each school. The student management process encompasses several tasks such as student planning, student acceptance and selection, student grouping, attendance and absence management, student evaluation, extracurricular activities and OSIS, management of student transfers and dropouts, as well as handling graduates and alumni.

Abstract

In the world of education, Total Quality Management (TQM) is the main weapon in improving the overall quality of education. One of the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) is customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the most important priority in an organization, so organizations must focus on customers. The purpose of this research is to find out how SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman satisfies customers. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using interviews with the director of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman has a very good way of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) based on customer satisfaction. This is proven by the fact that SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman really minimizes free hours in subjects. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman also facilitates students to study outside of class hours with their teaching staff in preparation for taking part in Olympics or competitions. In cultivating discipline, teaching staff and educational staff display behavior that shows a disciplined attitude towards time. When accepting new students (PPDB) at the initial stage, accepted students will be given a psychological test first. This is aimed at understanding the needs of students. Apart from that, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman public relations always conveys information quickly when there is new news, policies and regulations.
