Abstract

Abstract. Nagari Parit Malintang is one of the Nagari located in the district of Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman. The daily activities of the community are rough, farming and farming. Besides that, there were also efforts made from the small business sector and the household handicraft industry. One of the business groups is the Nagari PKK Outlet group. This business group has results in the fields of pearls and coconut, coconut and derivatives, as well as cooking. In the course of this business group from there. The low public interest will have a positive impact in the future. In this community service activity, online introduction media will be conducted in an effort to increase sales in this Nagari. The method used is technology, assistance and calculation in the production process (packaging). The activity began with a library, conducting an initial survey to the location of activities related to online media in businesses and businesses, introducing various online promotional media, mentoring in creating accounts and online content and ending with production packaging expenditures in order to have a match selling market needs when this. Abstract

Abstract. Problems of environmental damage such as flood, garbage and drought in Indonesia is a problem that can not be solved. One of the things that cause problems to this flood is this is the decreasing of water absorption area and unconscious society not to throw garbage carelessly. Limited land in residential areas results in space for water catchment areas and few dumps. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to the community about the application of environmentally appropriate technology that is Biopori Absorption Hole technology (LRB). This activity is useful to increase the ground water reserves and reduce the waste as well as to produce compost. Partners of this activity are 2 groups of residents Rukun Tetangga (RT) that is RT 04 and RT 06 Village Tabing Banda Gadang, District Nanggalo, Padang. This form of activity consists of lectures and practices of making biopore infiltration holes. The practice of making the biopore infiltration hole involves community participation. Many of the created biopore holes are made up of 10 holes per each RT. The hole is 10 cm in diameter and 100 cm in depth. The holes that have been made therein incorporated organic waste in the form of remnants of vegetables, paper, fruit peels and others - others. Thus LRB is useful in reducing waste, increasing groundwater reserves, reducing the flow of surface water that causes flooding and will reduce the dangers of drought. Abstract

Abstract. In mining activities with hard rock characteristics, it is necessary to do a blasting which aims to clean the rock, so that it can facilitate digging. The size of fragmentation as a result of blasting will affect to the digging time, the greater of the fragmentation that results will be the longer the time needed to digging the blasting material. Blasting geometry applied by PT. Semen Padang produces fragmentation measuring 53,86 cm with digging time of 14,29 seconds. In this study Blasting Geometry was used with ICI-explosive and RL. Ash theories. Where the fragmentation produced by the ICI-Explosive Theory is 47,86 cm with the digging time of 11,15 seconds, and with the Theory of RL. Ash fragmentation obtained is 43.71 cm with digging time of 8,6 seconds. Of the two theories, the theory of RL. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo site Atc 1 is a company that conducts andesite mining which has 10.899.982 tons of andesite reserves and 20 years of mine life. The parameters for this research can be seen in terms of economics, needs for tools’ estimation, and the income from the andesite selling. Then investment analysis and economics appropriateness of the mine are needed to see the prospect of andesite reserves whether they have economic value in the location. The parameters used to determine the economics appropriateness in the production of andesite at PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo site Atc 1 is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). Based on the result of economics analysis research, it was obtained the Net Present Value Rp. 1.794.057.062.400,, Internal Rate Return 41%, and Payback Period of 2,8 years, so the project is worthy to run. The estimated equipment needs are 1 unit of Komatsu PC 400 Excavator, and 4 Mitsubishi Fuso 250 PS FN 627 40T Dump Truck to overburden removal, and for ore getting requires 1 Komatsu PC 300 Excavator and 3 units of Mitsubishi Fuso 250 PS FN 627 40T. Abstract

Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditi unggulan Desa Kampung TangahKecamatan Lubuk Basung, dimana produksi jagung dari tahun ketahun mengalamipeningkatan. Dari setiap panen jagung diperkirakan jagung (rendemen) yang dihasilkansekitar 65%, sementara 35% dalam bentuk limbah berupa batang, daun, kulit, dan tongkoljagung (Anonimous, 2003). Tingginya produksi jagung tiap tahunnya berdampak padatingginya limbah yang dihasilkan terutama limbah tongkol jagung. Limbah yangdihasilkan pasca panen jagung ini yang paling mudah dan bisa dilakukan petani untukmenangani limbah tersebut adalah dengan membakarnya. Dari pengamatan lapanganditemukan bahwa tongkol jagung tidak termanfaatkan dan dibuang atau dibakar.Diketahui bahwa dari tongkol jagung yang dihasilkan sangat kaya akan karbohidrat yangdapat digunakan atau diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomiuntuk kehidupan manusia. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi, sebenarnya limbah tongkoljagung tersebut bisa dikembangkan menjadi suatu produk yang lebih bernilai ekonomiyaitu diantaranya dijadikan sebagai briket.Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pemecahanmasalah dalam mencapai tujuan serta harapan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan limbahkhususnya tongkol jagung dan sejalan dengan tujuan dari program pengabdian denganmerangkul kelompok masyarakat supaya terciptanya lingkungan, kualitas hidup yangsehat dan menjadi desa energi. Pada program ini akan memberdayakan 2 kelompoktani yaitu Kelompok Tani Harapan dan Kelompok Tani Bangkit yang merupakan petanijagung yang hasil jagungnya dijual untuk diolah menjadi makanan ternak. Biasanya sisatongkol jagung yang telah diambil jagungnya mereka buang dan dibakar begitu saja.Padahal tonggol jagung ini bisa diolah untuk menjadikan briket yang mempunyai dayajual. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian tertarik melakukan pengabdian di bidang ProgramKemitraan Masyarakat dengan judul “Produksi Briket Arang dengan PemanfaatanLimbah Tongkol Jagung di Desa Kampung Tangah Kecamatan Lubuk Basung”..Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah bagaimana memproses tongkoljagung yang biasanya dibuang sampai menjadi briket yang mempunyai daya jual. inidimulai dari bagai mana proses mulai dari bagaimana mengolah tongkol jagung sampaimembuat alat dengan output berupa briket sebagai energi, dan dalam pelaksananya dalamwaktu 8 bulan dengan survey awal ke lapangan, melakukan pertemuan/diskusidilanjutkan pengambilan data serta kesepakatan dengan mitra. Tim pengabdian optimisdengan pelaksanaanya nantinya dapat memberikan apresiasi dan inovasi baru bagimasyarakat dan pemerintah daerah. Pada dasarnya kegiatan yang akan dilakukan ini akanmemberikan multi efek bagi masyarakat sekitar dan untuk pemerintah daerah dalammewujudkan desa energi dalam pemerintahanya.

Abstract

Abstract. Groundwater is a very useful resource for all living things on earth. Living things, especially humans, do various ways to meet the needs of water. Based on its existence in this world, water is something that is needed by humans. The conditions of the place of residence vary, not all regions have sufficient water resources, so there are certain areas that experience difficulties with water resources. Population growth in the city of Padang has resulted in the expansion of housing development which has led to an increase in water demand, which can lead to a decrease in groundwater levels due to excessive withdrawal. This study aims to model and calculate the volume of the aquifer layer at several points in the study location. Based on data from the results of the drill log test at several points in the district Koto Tangah and Pauh distric area which will later be made in 3D modeling using SGeMS software and calculate the volume of the aquifer layer using the Krigging Indicator Method 3D modeling was obrained using the kriging indicator method in the Koto Tangah District area with the result of and aquifer volume of 2.531250m3 and 1.282.500m3 fo the Pauah District area.Keywords: Groundwater, aquifer layer, drill log, SGeMS, Indicator Kriging.

Abstract

Coal production produced by PT. Prima Dito Nusantara by dumptruck is currently 9.977,48 ton/bulan, looking at the condition of the existing equipment, it is planned to produce daily from the dumptruck to be further improved so that the production that can be achieved by the dumpt truck can reach 15,000 tons / month. Therefore, the problem to be examined is "is the condition of the haul road being used at this time ideal to achieve the coal production target of PT .Prima Dito Nusantara". With the evaluation of haul roads are expected to help the problems that exist in the company so that the productivity of the means of transportation to increase and production to be achieved. The research method conducted in the field is by measuring along the haul road from the mining front to the rom stocpile by calculating the width of the haul road, the distance and the slope and then comparing the actual condition in the field with the result of calculation based on the theory. The results showed that the width of the minimum haul road for straight road conditions must be made that is 11 m and 15 m for the bend.The slope at the bend (superelevation) with the theoretical bend width of 15 m must be made 30 cm so that the transport can pass the bend with maximum speed. Based on the theoretical width of the cross slope to be made is 22 cm to the side of the road so that the road body is not inundated with water, while the slope of the haul road is 15%. The results of the research analysis will then be made a recommendation as a solution of the problems that occur. Keywords: Hauling Road, Cross Slope, Superelevation, Road Transport Slope, Coal Production.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Bara Prima Pratama is a coal mining company located in Riau Province. The company has a production operation IUP on the Retih block with an estimated reserve of 2,635,406 tons of coal with a stripping ratio is 1:15.6 and a planned production target is 527.081 tons/year. The purpose of this research is to determine the investment feasibility of loading equipment and hauling equipment for decisioning as well as the most profitable alternative for the company to purchase it. The results of the feasibility analysis of the investment in digging and hauling equipment using the NPV and IRR methods for each alternative, there are some feasible and unfeasible alternative were obtained. Based on the Net Present Value (NPV) method, investments by cash and leasing are feasible with an NPV is Rp.28,361,887,549 for cash and NPV is Rp.10,428,627,129 for leasing, while the rent is not feasible because the NPV < 0, it is - Rp. 13,855,255,703. Based on the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) method with a MARR is 9.23%, investments by cash alternative are only feasible with an IRR value is 41.29%, while leasing and rent are unfeasible because the value of IRR < MARR , IRR value is -21.7% for leasing alterative and IRR value is -11.22% for rent alternative. So, based on the results of the analysis for the best alternative according to the NPV and IRR methods, the most profitable for the company is cash alternative.

Abstract

Based on field observation, The production of stripping overburden at PT. Pengembangan Investasi Riau on November 2020 didn’t reach target. It was caused by the high number of losstime that occur during the production process.Digging-Loading Equipment used for Stripping Overburden on one of fleet is 1 Unit 1 unit Excavator Kobelco SK480LC (EE01) with Hauling Equipment, 9 unit Dump Truck Quester CWE 370 (DT78, DT81, DT84, DT85, DT86, DT87, DT89, DT90 dan DT91). To determine potential of improvement from a production process and effectiveness of using equipment, then an analysis called Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) was carried out. OEE value for actual Digging-Loading Hauling Equipment indicates a very low value (< 85%). Next, used the Fishbone Diagram to find cause and effect from high number of losstime that occurs on the Equipment. Finally, the loss time is repaired due to human factors with the smallest standard tolerance method. After analyzing and improving with these methods, the production of Stripping Overburden on the fleet theoretically increased ± 2000 bcm from the previous production. OEE value still shows a fairly low value (< 85%) from World Class OEE Standard (> 85%). In addition, operational cost for digging-loading dan hauling equipment also increase along with the increase in production.

Abstract

Abstract. Zones 1 and 3 are one of the mining locations in the PT.BSP area, in the andesite mining process in Zone 1 it uses 6 pieces of conveyance and 1 loading device and in the stripping process for loads in zone 3 uses 4 pieces of conveyance and 1 piece of loading tool. This happens because of lack of discussion The composition of mechanical devices and the amount of waiting time that occurs on the conveyance. The purpose of this study is to count products in zone 1 and zone 3, count equipment in zone 1 and zone 3, get funds and calculate queuing times for production in zone 1 and zone 3, and get a matching factor equal to 1. In this research the theory and field data are combined so that it can be completed. And the results of data processing will be analyzed so that a meeting can be generated later. Based on the results of the study can be concluded. First, productivity of komatsu PC200 in Zone 1 is 249.9 tons / hour and productivity of komatsu DT FM500TI is 357 tons / hour. In Zone 3 komatsu PC 200 productivity is 175 bcm / hour and komatsu DT FM500TI 260 productivity is 160,448 bcm / hour. Second, the composition of the available equipment for Zone 1, namely 1 loading device and 6 conveyances, Zone 2, 1 loading device and 4 conveyances. Third, trying to reduce the queue time to make improvements to the composition is not necessary because of increased damtruk added. Fourth, analyze the calculations at Zone 1 = 0.363 and Zone 3 = 0.6140 MF <1 unit. It means that the working factor of the loading tool is less than 100% and the working factor of the conveyance is more than 100% or the ability of the excavator is less than the working of the conveyance due to the large waiting time of the conveyance.Keywords: production capacity, matching factors, queuing theory, andesite mining, mining equipment
