Abstract

Instilling religious values ??is a fundamental aspect of character education in elementary schools. This article discusses the implementation of the habit of reading Sholawat Busyro which is carried out after the morning assembly as an effort to foster the religious character of students at MII Banyurip Ageng 02 Pekalongan City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the habit of reading Sholawat Busyro is carried out routinely, spontaneously, and through exemplary behavior, and is followed by all students and teachers every morning. The implementation of this activity follows the steps: student training and mentoring, giving appreciation, strengthening morals through the knowing-feeling-doing approach, and avoiding criticism. This activity forms students' religious character such as humility, politeness, discipline in worship, and love for the Prophet. Supporting factors for this habit include teacher assertiveness, involvement of all students, a safe environment, and implementation of the habit as a mandatory madrasah activity. The inhibiting factors include students' inability to memorize, laziness in reciting Sholawat Busyro, limited time, and incorrect pronunciation. The results of this study recommend the habituation of sholawat as an effective strategy to form students' religious character comprehensively and applicatively in elementary education environments.

Abstract

Errors in constructing concepts often occur in mathematics learning, especially in the topic of integer operations. These errors arise because students tend to memorize procedures or rules without fully understanding the underlying concepts. This research aims to analyze students' errors in constructing the concept of integer operations based on assimilation and accommodation. This study uses a qualitative method with 16 students from class VII B at MTs Baitul Hikmah Tempurejo as subjects. The data collection methods in this study included tests and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of analyzing test results, conducting interviews, and triangulating the data to ensure validity. Based on the analysis and discussion of the data, it can be concluded that all subjects experienced errors in constructing the concept. Four types of concept construction errors were identified: Pseudo Construction, Construction Hole, Mis-logical Construction, and Mis-analogical Construction. Pseudo Construction occurs when a student merely memorizes phrases like "negative meets negative, the result is positive" without a deeper understanding of the concept. Construction Hole occurs when a student provides incorrect answers due to incomplete understanding or failure to comprehend the problem. Mis-logical Construction happens when a student makes an incorrect assumption or conclusion, while Mis-analogical Construction involves false analogies, such as equating the concept of adding negative numbers with adding positive numbers. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the types and causes of errors in concept construction made by students, which can then be used as a basis for developing effective learning strategies to help students understand concepts correctly.

Abstract

Ikan cupang adalah salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang habitatnya tersebar disebagain negara Asia Tenggara. Ikan cupang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi, di masa pandemi bisnis ikan cupang hias biasa dilakukan secara online shop melalui Facebook, Instagram. Bagi orang yang masih awam dengan ikan cupang tentunya akan sulit untuk mengenali ciri bentuk fisik dari jenis ikan cupang, karena pada dasarnya jenis-jenis ikan cupang hias memiliki kemiripan pada struktur tubuh, srip dan ekornya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem untuk membantu orang awam dalam mengenali jenis ikan cupang hias. Pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah sistem untuk mengklasifikasikan jenis ikan cupang hias, yaitu: Plakat, Crowntail, Halfmoon, Double tail dan Halfmoon plakat(HMPK) jantan dan betina dengan memanfaatkan pemodelan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). CNN merupakan algoritma yang dikembangkan dari MultiLayer Perceptron yang dapat mengekstraksi citra dengan detail. Model CNN dirancang menggunakan arsitektur VGG16 yang dimodifikasi pada bagian Fully-connected layers. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian model CNN menggunakan data test sebanyak 180 citra mendapatkan akurasi sebesar 78,33%.

Abstract

Desa Sidoasri, Kabupaten Malang, memiliki potensi ekowisata bahari yang tinggi namun menghadapi tekanan ekologi dan kelembagaan lokal yang terbatas. Program ini bertujuan memberdayakan Pokmaswas dan masyarakat pesisir agar bertransformasi dari pengguna pasif menjadi pengelola aktif ekowisata berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas melalui survei awal, FGD, pelatihan Training Ecodiver (selam dasar, identifikasi biota, pemantauan terumbu, dokumentasi), sarasehan desa, pendampingan intensif, serta evaluasi formatif–sumatif. Hasil menunjukkan: (i) penilaian potensi wisata (panorama pantai, trekking, snorkeling–diving, canoeing, GT fishing) memperoleh skor tinggi pada keunikan ekosistem, keterkaitan antarhabitat, dan keterwakilan ekosistem pesisir; (ii) partisipasi, motivasi, dan kapasitas kelembagaan masyarakat meningkat, tercermin dari keterlibatan dalam pemantauan terumbu, pengelolaan homestay, promosi digital, serta penguatan rencana kerja Pokmaswas; (iii) jejaring komunitas–pemerintah–akademisi menguat dan membuka peluang tindak lanjut. Disimpulkan bahwa konservasi harus menjadi prasyarat pengembangan ekowisata, dengan paradigma “konservasi sebagai investasi” untuk menjaga daya tarik destinasi dan manfaat ekonomi lokal. Ke depan disarankan institusionalisasi SOP dan insentif konservasi, monitoring jangka panjang berbasis komunitas, perluasan kemitraan lintas sektor, serta integrasi adaptasi iklim dan pengendalian spesies invasif dalam paket ekowisata Sidoasri.

Abstract

Paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is a cultivated crop that serves as the staple food source for the majority of the Indonesian population. East Java Province is one of the largest paddy-producing provinces in Indonesia. Jember Regency, as one of the paddy production centers in East Java, has a relatively high production level each year. However, there is currently no system available that clusters paddy data at the village level in the form of map-based visualization. This study aims to cluster the paddy harvest productivity of each village in Jember Regency based on the variables of planted area, harvested area, and paddy production for the years 2022 and 2023 using the K-Means Clustering algorithm and the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). The data used in this study were obtained from the official publications of the Jember Regency Bureau of Statistics, covering a total of 248 villages. The clustering process was carried out by testing the number of clusters (k) from 2 to 10, which were then evaluated using DBI to determine the optimal number of clusters. The results show that the optimal number of clusters is 3, with a DBI value of 0.6053. This DBI value indicates that the quality of clustering of planted area, harvested area, and paddy production is considered good. The clustering results consist of 40 villages in Cluster 1, 105 villages in Cluster 2, and 103 villages in Cluster 3. The clustering results were implemented into a web- based Geographic Information System using the Flask Python framework and the Leaflet library to display an interactive map in GeoJSON format. This study is expected to provide benefits for the Jember Regency Bureau of Statistics, the community, and farmers in storing, managing, and providing information related to paddy production in Jember Regency.
