Abstract

The service activities at "Omah Jamur Ayu" are a continuation of the business school activities held by "Lazis Sabilillah" and in collaboration with "STIE Malangkucecwara Malang" and other partners. The aim of this service activity is to carry out a study to imitate the experience and success of the achievements made by Omah Jamur Ayu. This mock study was carried out with the aim of bringing benefits, increasing synergy and building cooperation with MSMEs assisted by Sabilillah. The method used was by conducting program outreach, providing materials, training and mentoring. As a result of this activity, MSME participants gained knowledge about developing mushroom seeds, caring for the mushroom growth process, harvesting mushrooms and managing mushrooms into processed dishes that are ready to be served in restaurants. The training material includes making crispy mushrooms with various flavors, namely BBQ, blackpaper and teriyaki; various soups (Ayu mushroom tomyum, Ayu mushroom capjay, Ayu mushroom asparagus) and various snacks (mushroom brontak, mushroom samosa and mushroom lumpiah) trained by experienced trainers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of social factors on the purchasing decision of Sosro Botol tea products. The variables in this study include family, reference groups, social roles and status, purchasing decisions. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study is unlimited while the sample is 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the questionnaire method, which were then analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26. The results showed that partially family variables had no significant effect on purchasing decisions for Sosro bottled tea products, while reference group variables partially also had a significant effect on the purchasing decision of Sosro Botol tea, and on the role and social status variables, there is no significant effect on the Sosro Botol tea purchasing decision. Simultaneously, family variables, reference groups, roles and social status have no significant effect on the Sosro Botol tea purchasing decision.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss work motivation, work discipline and workload on job satisfaction of teachers and employees of SMP Negeri 6 Jombang. The method used is the associative method, which is research carried out to determine whether there is a relationship or influence between two or more variables. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Jombang. The data collection technique used was questionnaire data collection. The sample used consisted of 55 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques, primary data sources using observation, documentation and distributing questionnaires directly then processed using SPSS for Windows version 26. The results of research and data processing show that work motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction, work discipline has a negative effect on job satisfaction and workload has a positive effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Jatirejo sebagian besar bermata pencaharian sebagai pengrajin gula jawa. Gula jawa berasal dari nira kelapa yang dibuat secara tradisional dan belum tersedia produk olahan berbahan gula jawa. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan terkait dengan inovasi bentuk gula jawa, pengolahan produk berbasis gula jawa, pengemasan dan pelabelan, pengurusan ijin usaha, serta pemasaran produk kepada Kelompok Janis. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dengan inovasi bentuk gula jawa yang lebih kecil dan seragam, sudah adanya pengemasan dan pelabelan, memiliki sertifikat IUMK dan PIRT, serta tersedia penjualan baik secara offline maupun online, sehingga terdapat peningkatan penjualan gula dan produk inovasi olahan berbasis gula jawa.

Abstract

This study is aimed to show the implementation of English as a lingua franca in elementary school students. The researchers would like to present the strategies used by the teachers in teaching some subjects to students who barely speak Indonesian. This study has not been discussed by many researchers. The use of the ELF strategy by teachers in teaching subjects in a classroom is to keep students engaged in the topic that is being discussed. The researchers employed qualitative research involving five teachers who taught English, Indonesian, and also class teachers in the elementary school. In collecting the data, the researchers participatory sampling and open-ended questions for the participants. In this research, 4 classes have several students who can speak more than one language but are not too fluent in Indonesian. The result of the study showed that teachers used some techniques to teach the students such as using repetition and paraphrasing, code-switching, using pictures, and help-seeking. Moreover, the researchers also found that through the strategies implied by the teacher, students could grasp the material taught by the teacher easily.

Abstract

Background: Tardiness remains a disciplinary problem that disrupts the learning process in many secondary schools. Behavior-based interventions are needed to ensure measurable and sustainable change. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of group counseling using behavioral contract techniques in reducing undisciplined behavior (tardiness) among students at SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya. Method: A two-cycle qualitative classroom action research, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects consisted of four students with a history of tardiness, 7–13 times per month. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of tardiness records and analyzed descriptively. Result: After Cycle I, the frequency of tardiness decreased to 2–3 times per week. In Cycle II, tardiness was no longer found, along with the strengthening of student commitment to the agreed behavior contract and stricter monitoring. Conclusion: Group counseling using behavior contract techniques is effective in reducing tardiness at SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya and is suitable for integration into the school's guidance and counseling program. Contribution: This study adds to the applied evidence of behavioral counseling on the issue of punctuality by providing replicable implementation components (contract format, reinforcement and consequence schemes, and monitoring mechanisms), while also providing a two-cycle action research framework that guidance counselors can adopt in a high school context.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu rumah tangga melalui pelatihan pembuatan seblak sebagai salah satu bentuk kuliner kekinian yang memiliki potensi ekonomi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan learning by doing selama satu hari di lingkungan RT 013, Kelurahan Serdang Jaya, dengan melibatkan 20 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sesi pengenalan tren kuliner, demonstrasi memasak, praktik langsung oleh peserta, serta penyampaian strategi pemasaran produk sederhana berbasis rumah tangga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, mampu mengikuti praktik dengan baik, serta mulai tertarik untuk menjadikan seblak sebagai produk usaha rumahan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan praktis dan partisipatif mampu memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan motivasi kewirausahaan di tingkat rumah tangga. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya pendampingan lanjutan dan penguatan dukungan dari berbagai pihak agar keterampilan yang diperoleh dapat berkembang menjadi usaha berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether the program of intertwining poor families for women households (KRTP) is very influential in shaping the economy of women in Perak sub-district. The object of this research was widows who received the Jalin Matra program assistance in Perak Subdistrict, out of 5 villages, with a total of 46 people. This study of this research was descriptive qualitative, the reseacrh approach carried out by looking directly at the problems that occurred in the field. In qualitative research, the methods used are interviews, observation and use of documents. Widows who receive business capital assistance worth Rp. 750,000 in the form of business necessities. On average, people who received Jalin Matra assistance had an increase in terms of increasing income to meet basic needs, school fees and other social needs without having to be in debt to other people.

Abstract

The community service program, "Family Empowerment Through Strengthening Spiritual and Economic Values ​​to Achieve Family Harmony among Housewives Assisted by Lazis Sabilillah Malang," aims to improve the quality of family harmony through a spiritual and economic approach. This activity uses a lecture method followed by a question-and-answer session to explore problems and provide practical solutions. Based on interactions with participants, it was discovered that families face challenges in the form of weakening spiritual values ​​and economic pressures. Through counseling, simple financial management training, and mentoring, the housewives were able to improve their understanding and skills in managing harmonious family life. The results of the activity demonstrated positive changes in participants' attitudes and motivation to apply spiritual values ​​and economic independence within their families. This program makes a significant contribution to sustainable community empowerment.
