Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing consumer decisions to purchase Somethinc cosmetics, with a focus on the effects of halal certification, brand image, and influencer endorsements. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected through surveys from 179 consumers who have purchased or used Somethinc products. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, and data analysis included validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that Muslim consumers are particularly cautious about choosing cosmetics that align with both their beauty needs and religious values. Influencer recommendations, halal certification, and a positive brand image significantly impact purchasing decisions. These findings provide valuable insights for cosmetic companies like Somethinc, suggesting that improving product quality, building a strong brand, and collaborating with relevant influencers can effectively reach and engage a broader consumer base.

Abstract

Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) represents an innovative social investment instrument in Indonesia, combining cash waqf (Islamic endowment) with government sukuk (Sharia-compliant bonds). Despite its significant role in funding education, healthcare, and economic development, the substantial potential of CWLS remains underutilized due to a disparity between its projected benefits and the limited participation of potential investors. The study aims to predict the intention of Islamic banking customers to engage in cash waqf through State Sukuk or CWLS in West Java. It employs the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to investigate the behavioral intentions of Islamic banking customers in West Java, Indonesia, toward adopting CWLS. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 119 respondents who are active customers of Islamic banks. The findings reveal that attitude toward behavior and subjective norms do not significantly influence behavioral intention, whereas perceived behavioral control (PBC) emerges as a critical predictor of intention to participate in CWLS. Among demographic variables, only age moderates the relationship between attitude toward behavior and behavioral intention. The study identifies low public awareness, limited financial literacy, and mistrust in CWLS mechanisms as key barriers. To bridge this gap, stakeholders must prioritize widespread socialization campaigns, particularly targeting productive-age demographics, to enhance trust and literacy. Strategic promotion of CWLS’s dual benefits—social impact and financial returns—is recommended to accelerate investor participation and maximize its socioeconomic potential.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK - Bagaimana Faktor Perilaku Membentuk Niat Investasi dalam Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk di Indonesia?

Abstract

The background of this research is the mobile baking service, which is slowly being considered as a service that must be provided by banks to their customers. Thus, Sharia banks also adopt mobile banking services as a strategy to gain a competitive advantage. Service features, security, and convenience are analyzed to determine direct and indirect effects on the intention to use BSI Mobile (a mobile banking service from the largest Sharia bank in Indonesia). This research uses a type of quantitative research with primary data obtained from questionnaires or online surveys via Google Forms. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondents, namely BSI Mobile users. The data analysis technique used is SPSS 26 which includes the validity test, the reliability test, the multiple linear regression tests, the determinant coefficients test, the F-test, and finally the T-test. The results show that service features and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use BSI Mobile. However, security doesn't have a significant effect on the intention to use BSI Mobile. This study aims to help Sharia banks develop their mobile banking services, so they have a higher chance in competing with conventional banks.
