Abstract

This study explores the experiences of fifteen tenth-grade students from a secondary school in Medan, Indonesia, using the Quizizz platform to improve their English writing skills and enhance their writing motivation. A phenomenological qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicated that Quizizz had a positive impact on students' motivation, self-confidence, and learning autonomy. The platform’s gamification features and instant feedback encouraged students to write more actively, take risks, and independently correct mistakes. However, the effectiveness of Quizizz was found to depend largely on the teacher-designed tasks and the technical conditions supporting the platform. This study suggests integrating Quizizz into well-designed, sustainable, technology-based writing lessons to foster improved writing skills and sustained motivation among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kewenangan presiden dalam mengeluarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang (Perppu) sebagai bentuk diskresi eksekutif dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia. Perppu merupakan instrumen hukum yang memberikan kekuasaan luar biasa kepada presiden untuk mengeluarkan aturan setingkat undang-undang dalam keadaan darurat atau mendesak. Namun, kewenangan ini memerlukan keseimbangan antara efektivitas pemerintahan dan kontrol konstitusional untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan kekuasaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan analisis peraturan perundang-undangan, putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi, dan praktik ketatanegaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa batasan konstitusional Perppu terletak pada syarat hal ihwal kegentingan yang memaksa sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 22 UUD NRI Tahun 1945, namun interpretasi frasa tersebut masih menimbulkan perdebatan hukum. Mekanisme kontrol konstitusional dilakukan melalui persetujuan DPR dan judicial review oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya kriteria yang lebih jelas mengenai keadaan darurat dan penguatan mekanisme kontrol untuk menjaga keseimbangan kekuasaan dalam negara hukum demokratis.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SDN Prayitna yang bertujuan menangani kurangnya perhatian siswa kelas V terhadap kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, rendahnya rasa tanggung jawab, serta munculnya perilaku bullying ringan. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tertinggi terdapat pada poin keaktifan yaitu 23%, melebihi target 20% yang menunjukkan bahwa program ini sangat sukses dalam mendorong keterlibatan jasmani dan lisan siswa dalam peningkatan pengetahuan. Proporsi terkecil yaitu 17% terdapat pada aspek Anti-Bullying. Kegiatan pengabdian ini pada dasarnya sudah berhasil mencapai sasaran utama, yaitu meningkatkan kesadaran siswa kelas V tentang pentingnya kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, menanamkan sikap anti-bullying, dan menguatkan nilai tanggung jawab sejak dini.

Abstract

Organic farming is an environmentally friendly cultivation system that prioritizes natural ingredients and avoids the use of synthetic chemicals. To support peanut growth, this system relies on compost as a source of nutrients. Compost is believed to be rich in natural nutrients and can improve soil conditions. The proper use of compost is expected to increase peanut productivity in Indonesia, which is currently still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compost fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of peanut plants. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with one factor, namely the compost fertilizer dosage, repeated 3 times. The treatment consisted of several compost fertilizer dosages, namely C0 without compost; C1 compost 20 ml/L; C2 compost 40 ml/L; C3 compost 60 ml/L. The results of this study were that the C1 dosage (20 ml/L) was the most optimal for vegetative growth, producing much better plant height compared to other dosages, and pod weight (yield): the C3 dosage (60 ml/L) was the most effective for the generative phase, producing significantly the highest pod weight. Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers and children's involvement in developing writing readiness in early childhood at Siti Khadijah Islamic Kindergarten Ponorogo. Writing readiness is understood as a part of early literacy that includes fine motor skills, symbol recognition, and motivation to write. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which included reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that teachers played the role of facilitators who provided gradual guidance, individual support, and positive reinforcement in writing learning. Children show varied involvement, influenced by motivation, confidence, and the emotional atmosphere of the class. The integration of Islamic values such as patience, discipline, and gratitude strengthens the learning process and shapes children's character. This study concludes that children's writing readiness develops through the synergy between teacher strategies, child involvement, and spiritual values embedded in Islamic education. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of learning to write that is fun, adaptive, and based on Islamic values in the development of early childhood literacy.

Abstract

This study analyzes the planning, implementation, assessment, and observed outcomes of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) under the Local Wisdom theme through an ecoprint activity among sixth-grade elementary students. A qualitative case-study design was employed at SD Negeri 1 Rumbuk, East Lombok Regency. Informants were selected purposively and included the school principal, the Grade VI-B teacher, and students directly involved in one project cycle. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Credibility was strengthened through source triangulation, method triangulation, and the search for disconfirming evidence. The project was planned through contextual theme selection, module development, scheduling, and facilitator-role allocation. Implementation comprised orientation, contextualization–action, and reflection phases. Assessment combined process observation and product evaluation; school documents reported an average ecoprint product score of 3.58 in the good category, although the rubric was not yet fully standardized. Observed outcomes included greater participation, collaboration, creativity, independence, confidence, and appreciation of local culture and the environment. The study contributes a process–product–character model that positions the ecoprint artefact as one source of learning evidence rather than as a single indicator of character change. The findings remain contextual because the study involved a single case and no longitudinal observation.
