Abstract

SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan is one of the schools in Bali that applies ICT learning. ICT learning is carried out offline in a computer laboratory room with 13 teaching aids. The number of teaching aids in the computer laboratory does not even exceed half of the number of students per class, which is at least 31 students. The limited teaching aids make the learning process in ICT subjects ineffective, so that many students still do not fully understand the functions and parts of computers. This study aims to create an application that uses Augmented Reality technology on an Android-based smartphone to help recognize computer hardware. This research starts from the stage of data collection, analysis of existing conditions, application design, application implementation and application testing using the blackbox texting method. This Augmented Reality Application for Introduction to Computer Devices for Elementary School Students has tutorial features, camera scans, info, about and exit. This AR Application Recognizing Computer Devices can help and facilitate learning for students of SDN 4 Peguyangan in recognizing the form and function of computer devices

Abstract

PT. LP is a company engaged in freight forwarding which currently has 3500 partners spread throughout Indonesia and one of them is in Denpasar City. Customers owned by PT. The prison located in Denpasar City currently has more than 200 people. However, because PT. LP has not utilized technology in its entire business process, causing several activities at PT. LP becomes ineffective and efficient. Customers are often confused when they want to use a pickup service and cannot find out where the package is sent, because there is no facility to track the status of the package. When the customer wants to pick up the packages, the customer must first confirm via WhatsApp to the admin, include the address where the packages are picked up and also if the customer wants to make a cashless payment, the customer must contact the admin to ask for an account number. In addition, whenever PT. LP held a promo, the information did not reach all customers. The purpose of this research is to provide a solution to these problems by building a membership tracking mobile application which will later be able to help PT. LP to simplify and speed up the process of pickup, tracking the packages, and payments. This study uses the waterfall method and chooses Android as the platform used. The results of this study are an Android-based mobile tracking application that has features of packages pickup, tracking of the packages to be picked up, providing information and promo notifications to customers, and payment features.

Abstract

E-Learning has been applied for a long time in Indonesia and other developed and developing countries. However, research by Salloum et.al., said that E-Learning systems in developing countries were partially or completely not adopted; utilization has not been completed and is considered less than a satisfactory level. This refers to the lack of understanding of the factors that influence adoption. One of the latest studies on distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic said that there were several obstacles experienced by students, and teachers. This study aims to analyze the adoption of E-Learning technology in Generation Z at one of university in Bali during the COVID-19 pandemic. Results of this study indicate that there is a positive impact of computer self-efficacy and accessibility on the perception of the ease with which students use the E-Learning system. The factors of information quality and content quality positively affect the students' perceived ease of use and usefulness of the E-Learning system. It is this perception of the usefulness and ease of use of the E-Learning system that has an increasing impact on students' intentions and attitudes to use the E-Learning system in the future.

Abstract

Every educational institution provides scholarships that are offered to its students with specified requirements, as well as at SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. Students who receive scholarships are students who meet the requirements and criteria that have been determined. The criteria determined are report cards, absenteeism, achievement, organizational involvement, and violations. However, some problems arise when determining the prospective recipients of achievement scholarships at SMKN 1 Sukawati, particularly many students who have achievements outside of school activities or non-academic achievements do not get scholarships. One of the criteria-set is to have achievement, which means achievement is not only academic achievement but also non-academic. The design of a system that can provide recommendations to decision makers is needed, so that it is right on target in providing opportunities for students who meet the criteria considered. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used in this study because it can choose the best alternative from several alternatives. The results obtained in this study in the form of ranking and then make a recommendation to receiving a scholarship.

Abstract

Waste generation, particularly from organic and inorganic sources, has become a growing environmental issue, especially in culturally unique regions like Bali where traditional offerings contribute to organic waste volumes. Despite regulations such as Gianyar Regency Regulation No. 76 of 2023 mandating source-level separation, on-ground implementation remains inconsistent due to low public awareness and operational limitations. This study addresses the challenge by developing an automated image-based classification system using the ResNet50 deep learning architecture to distinguish between organic and inorganic waste. A total of 200 images were collected 100 per class using smartphone cameras, and the dataset was expanded to 1,400 images through geometric data augmentation techniques such as rotation, flipping, and zooming. Images were resized to 224x224 pixels and evaluated using K-Fold Cross Validation to ensure model stability. The model was trained using transfer learning and tested under two conditions with and without augmentation while optimizing hyperparameters such as learning rates (0.0001 and 0.00001) and optimizers (Adam and SGD). The results demonstrate that augmentation significantly enhanced model performance, with the augmented model achieving an average accuracy of 99.25%, precision of 99.32%, recall of 99.25%, and F1-score of 99.25%, compared to 89.88% accuracy in the non-augmented model. These findings confirm that ResNet50, when combined with geometric augmentation and proper preprocessing, offers a robust, accurate, and scalable solution for waste classification tasks. This research contributes to the advancement of AI-driven environmental technologies and offers a potential framework for smart waste management systems, with future directions including real-time deployment, multi-class classification, and expansion to more diverse and real-world datasets.

Abstract

Isu pemerataan pendidikan di Indonesia, mulai dari pendidikan dasar hingga perguruan tinggi, masih menjadi tantangan besar. Berbagai sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan menghadapi kendala seperti fasilitas yang kurang memadai, sumber daya manusia yang terbatas, biaya pendidikan yang tinggi, serta distribusi guru yang tidak merata. Tantangan-tantangan ini menghambat upaya menciptakan sistem pendidikan berkualitas dan merata. Direktorat Sekolah Menengah Atas, Kemdikbud, menyoroti tantangan dalam mewujudkan pemerataan pendidikan di era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi. Hal ini sejalan dengan komitmen global dan nasional dalam agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yang diharapkan dapat tercapai pada tahun 2030. Permasalahan ini membutuhkan pendekatan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, dan sektor swasta. Sebagai contoh, SD N 6 Penatih di Denpasar Timur menghadapi masalah kesenjangan pendidikan terutama terkait akses teknologi dan pengetahuan komputer khususnya pada pengoperasian sistem aplikasi microsoft excel dan desain canva. Metode yang di terapkan pada kegiatan paengabdian ini terdiri dari 5 tahapan diantaranya tahap perencanaan awal, identifikasi permasalahan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Pelatihan Microsoft Excel dan Canva untuk siswa kelas 5 dan 6 berhasil membuktikan efektivitas metode pengajaran yang diterapkan, dimana siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep yang diajarkan tetapi juga mampu menerapkan keterampilan tersebut secara praktis. Pengabdian masyarakat oleh lembaga pendidikan tinggi diperlukan untuk membantu mengatasi kesenjangan ini dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta kemampuan teknologi di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan anggota PEKKA (Perempuan Kepala Keluarga) di Gianyar, Bali, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi tiga permasalahan kunci: kurangnya pemahaman hukum, kesenjangan layanan dan akses informasi, serta keterbatasan keterampilan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data kualitatif. Solusi yang diimplementasikan mencakup penyuluhan advokasi hukum, pengembangan platform mobile untuk digitalisasi modul, dan pelatihan bisnis digital. Proses ini diikuti dengan monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman hukum, akses terhadap layanan informasi, dan keterampilan ekonomi di kalangan anggota PEKKA. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pemberdayaan yang efektif untuk perempuan kepala keluarga, sejalan dengan program MBKM dan IKU, serta mendukung terciptanya masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera, adil gender, dan bermartabat.

Abstract

Budaya Bali memiliki kekayaan adat yang unik, termasuk variasi riasan pengantin yang berbeda-beda di setiap daerah. Gianyar, Buleleng, dan Badung dikenal dengan karakteristik riasan pengantin yang mencerminkan identitas lokal dan keunikan budaya masing-masing. Dalam upaya melestarikan dan memperkenalkan tradisi ini, teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dimanfaatkan untuk menyajikan riasan pengantin Bali secara interaktif kepada masyarakat. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan aplikasi berbasis AR yang mendukung pelestarian dan promosi riasan pengantin di tiga kabupaten tersebut, bekerja sama dengan Himpunan Ahli Rias Pengantin Indonesia (HARPI). Metode yang digunakan mencakup identifikasi kebutuhan, pengumpulan data aset 3D, pengolahan data aset, desain UI/UX, pengembangan aplikasi, dan pengujian. Aplikasi AR yang dihasilkan memungkinkan pengguna berinteraksi dengan model 3D riasan pengantin melalui marker khusus. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi digital ini berhasil meningkatkan apresiasi, pelestarian, dan promosi riasan pengantin Bali. Perlindungan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) juga memberikan nilai tambah pada produk budaya ini. Program ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan teknologi digital yang tepat dapat membantu melestarikan dan mempromosikan tradisi budaya di tengah arus modernisasi. Di era globalisasi, teknologi seperti AR menawarkan peluang besar dalam mendukung pelestarian budaya tradisional, seperti riasan pengantin Bali, melalui pengalaman interaktif yang menarik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive mobile application-based learning media to introduce Devanagari Sanskrit script to Indonesian teenagers. The background of this research is the lack of communicative, contextual, and engaging learning media for the digital generation in learning traditional scripts. The development method uses the ADDIE model modified with a visual communication design approach and integration of local Balinese cultural values. The results show that this media successfully combines strong visual elements, interactive voice narratives, and Balinese cultural iconography in one mobile-friendly platform. Validation from design and cultural experts shows a very high level of feasibility, supported by positive responses from student users at the Dvipantara Samskrtam Foundation. This research makes a real contribution to the preservation of traditional scripts through a digital educational approach that is adaptive to the learning needs of today's teenagers. In addition, this research also opens opportunities for the development of similar learning media for other traditional scripts, thereby increasing awareness and understanding of Indonesia's rich culture among the younger generation. By integrating technology in learning, it is hoped that the preservation of Indonesian culture can go hand in hand with the progress of the times.

Abstract

Lontar Usada Rare is a traditional Balinese manuscript containing pediatric medical knowledge based on local wisdom, yet its narrative format limits accessibility and utilization in modern contexts, while its physical fragility threatens long-term preservation. This study aims to develop a pediatric disease classification model using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) combined with Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting to support the digitalization of Balinese traditional medicine. A total of 422 data samples were collected through expert interviews and manuscript analysis, covering symptoms, disease types, herbal ingredients, and treatment procedures. The research stages included text preprocessing (cleansing, tokenizing, stopword removal, stemming), manual labeling into 35 disease classes, and model evaluation using five train–test split ratios (80:20 to 60:40) with variations of the complexity parameter C (0.5, 1, 10, 100, 1000). The best performance was achieved using C=10 with an 80:20 ratio, resulting in 87.06% accuracy, 91.55% precision, 87.06% recall, and an F1-score of 87.96%. Confusion matrix analysis showed strong classification performance for most classes, although minority classes with overlapping symptoms exhibited misclassification. Overall, the TF-IDF and linear SVM combination effectively classifies pediatric disease symptoms from Lontar Usada Rare and contributes to the preservation and digital transformation of Balinese traditional medical knowledge for potential modern healthcare applications.
