Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi salah satunya yakni Institut Agama Islam Negeri Samarinda (IAIN) memberikan peluang bagi peserta didik untuk bisa mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Untuk melanjutkan ke Perguruan Tinggi tentu diawali dengan adanya rasa ketertarikan untuk mencari informasi, hal inilah yang akan membentuk persepsi para lulusan khususnya lulusan SLTA. Tidak hanya berhenti pada persepsi saja, untuk memilih perguruan tinggi tentu terdapat preferensi atau standar yang digunakan untuk memilih Perguruan Tinggi hal ini lah yang nantinya akan membentuk adanya minat daripada lulusan SLTA dalam memilih Perguruan Tinggi, salah satunya ialah Institut Agama Islam Negeri Samarinda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan persepsi, preferensi lulusan SLTA terhadap minat memilih Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri Samarinda. Adapun metode daripada penelitian ialah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yakni berusaha memberikan gambaran objek sejelas-jelasnya dengan keadaanya yang disertai dengan angka-angka atau menggunakan statistik. Adapun populasi daripada penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa IAIN Samarinda angkatan tahun 2015 (yang sudah melakukan proses herregistrasi) yang berjumlah sebanyak 835 orang. Untuk sampel yang digunakan sebanyak adalah sebanyak 249 orang dengan penentuan sampel berdasarkan taraf kesalahan 5%. Dari hasil yang telah dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi parsial, ditemukan bahwasanya terdapat hubungan antara preferensi lulusan SLTA terhadap minat memilih Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam di Samarinda. Kata kunci: Lulusan SLTA, Persepsi, Preferensi, Minat, Perguruan Tinggi, IAIN Samarinda Abstract One of the university, In this case is State Islamic Institute of Samarinda (IAIN Samarinda), provides opportunities for students to be able to develop science and technology. To continue to higher education, of course, begins with an interest in seeking information, this is what will shape the perceptions of graduates, especially high school graduates. Not only does it stop at perception, to choose a university, of course, there are preferences or standards used to choose a university, this is what will shape the interest of high school graduates in choosing a university, one of which is the Samarinda State Islamic Institute. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions, preferences of high school graduates on the interest in choosing the State Islamic Institute of Samarinda. The method of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach, which is trying to provide a clear picture of the object with its circumstances accompanied by numbers or using statistics. The population of this study were students of IAIN Samarinda class of 2015 (who had already carried out the herregistration process), amounting to 835 people. For the sample used as many as 249 people with the determination of the sample based on an error level of 5%. From the results that have been calculated using the partial correlation formula, it is found that there is a relationship between the preferences of high school graduates and the interest in choosing an Islamic Religious College in Samarinda. Abstract

Perkembangan zaman menuntut manusia tidak hanya menguasai teori ilmu pengetahuan semata, namun dibutuhkan pula softskill yang dapat mengimbangi kemajuan teknologi yang begitu pesat. Kemajuan teknologi menyebabkan banyaknya tenaga kerja manusia tergantikan oleh teknologi. Kesadaran mengenai penguasaan softskill pada zaman ini sudah disadari oleh sebagian orang, dibuktikan dengan banyaknya orang-orang yang mengikuti seminar, pelatihan, workshop, komunitas, organisasi dan lainnya yang menjadi tempat untuk mengasah keterampilannya.Keaktifan dalam berorganisasi dapat membantu mengasah softskill pada masing-masing individu. Namun, ditemukan asumsi yang berbeda mengenai keaktifan berorganisasi pada mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan (FTIK) Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINSI) Samarinda. Melalui observasi sebanyak 29% mahasiswa beranggapan aktif beroganisasi akan menurunkan prestasi belajar dan 71% beranggapan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Perbedaan asumsi ini membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan keaktifan berorganisasi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang aktif terlibat dalam organisasi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 68 berdasarkan perhitungan rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa 1) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keaktifan berorganisasi dengan prestasi belajar, 2) Keaktifan berorganisasi memiliki hubungan positif dengan prestasi belajar, 3) Besar konstribusi keaktifan berorganisasi terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 36%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that easy and equitable access to the Internet has now permeated various levels of society, including among students at SMP Negeri 34 Samarinda. Social media, as a manifestation of this development, has a significant impact on the moral dimension of individuals. Observations at this school indicate that students are quite active in accessing social media, with examples of platforms often used, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. Therefore, this study aims to determine the extent of the influence of social media on the mazmumah morals of students at SMP Negeri 34 Samarinda. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto approach. Sample determination was done through purposive sampling, and data collection used a Likert scale. Data analysis involved correlation coefficient hypothesis testing and simple linear regression testing. The findings showed that out of a total of 195 grade VIII students, 190 had social media accounts (Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok), and 70 actively accessed social media. The analysis results confirmed the influence between social media and mazmumah morals of students at SMP Negeri 34 Samarinda. Hypothesis testing resulted in a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). The correlation test shows a Pearson correlation value of -0.440, indicating a moderate relationship with a negative direction between the social media variable (X) and mazmumah morals (Y). Abstract

This study aimed to identify and describe learning difficulties in children with various factors that cause learning difficulties. The research uses a qualitative approach with literature studies from books and journal articles. The results of the study found the interaction of learning difficulties as various disorders, both disorders in listening, reading, writing, and listening, caused by various factors such as internal and external. Learning difficulties are divided into two broad categories, namely developmental and academic learning difficulties. Factors of learning difficulties in children are the disruption of brain function, heredity factors, and environmental and nutritional factors. Meanwhile, if viewed from the phenomenon of learning difficulties based on the learning process, the factors that influence it are internal factors that come from within the child or student. External factors related to conditions from outside the child or student. In controlling learning difficulties, it is necessary to carry out comprehensive handling, which can be done in the medical and educational fields. Various significant figures have difficulty learning; one of them is Albert Einstein.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai Islam adalah sebuah kumpulan dari prinsip hidup yang saling terkait dan tidak dapat dipisahkan, yang mengajarkan manusia tentang cara yang seharusnya ditempuh untuk menjalankan kehidupan di dunia ini berdasarkan tuntunan islam. Nilai-nilai islam akan selalu ditemukan di mana saja selama itu adalah pemaslahatan untuk umat. Tak terkecuali dalam acara adat Erau yang dilaksanakan di kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Erau Kutai Kartanegara adalah sebuah acara adat yang dilaksanakan rutin tiap tahun secara meriah dengan tamu dari berbagai negara. Penelitian ini akan membahas terkait nilai-nilai islam yang ditemui dalam acara Erau Kutai Kartanegara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai Islam apa saja yang bisa ditemui di dalam acara adat Erau. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa karya tulis ilmiah terkait budaya dan nilai-nilai Nilai-Nilai Islam Dalam Tradisi Erau Kutai Kartanegara .... – Hadinata, Dkk. 288 Revisi II 05 November 2023 Disetujui 19 November 2023 Islam sebagai referensinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian perpustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang didapatkan berasal dari berbagai karya tulis ilmiah seperti artikel dan prosiding yang didapatkan di situs pencarian karya tulis ilmiah yaitu google scholar dengan menggunakan beberapa kata kunci, yaitu nilai nilai islam dan Erau Kutai Kartanegara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai Islam yang dapat ditemui di acara Erau yang beragam, di antaranya adalah nilai spiritual dan nilai etika dan moral. Masuknya Islam ke wilayah Kutai memberi dampak islamisasi dalam masyarakat Kutai yang dapat ditemui dalam hubungan sosial, aturan, kelembagaan dan budaya.

Abstract

The globalization era with digital communication technology has led to a decline in social awareness within society. As agents of change, university students play an important role in building social concern through involvement in various activities. This research aims to examine the extent of influence that social activities have on the social awareness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students at UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda, who have demonstrated active participation in community service programs organized by HMPS PAI and the "Teman Panti" program by the EPIC community. This research employed a quantitative approach with correlational research design, while sampling was conducted using purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria. Data analysis included tests of normality, linearity, simple regression, correlation, coefficient of determination, and t-test to measure the influence and significance of relationships between variables. The research results demonstrate that social activities have a positive and significant effect on the social awareness of PAI students, with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and t-count (3.156) > t-table (1.675). The correlation between the two variables falls in the medium category (Pearson Correlation 0.408), with social activities contributing 16.6% to students' social concern. These findings affirm the importance of social activities as an effective strategy in fostering social concern among university students.

Abstract

Isu ketimpangan gender masih menjadi tantangan sosial yang signifikan, terutama di kalangan generasi muda seperti mahasiswa. Kegiatan sosialisasi "Pendidikan Gender Bagi Mahasiswa: Memahami Perbedaan dan Kesetaraan" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai konsep gender, perbedaannya dengan jenis kelamin, serta dampak konstruksi sosial terhadap peran gender. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 mahasiswa kader PMII dan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan studi kasus. Materi mencakup gender dasar, perspektif keagamaan terhadap gender, serta isu ketidakadilan dan kesetaraan gender. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap isu-isu gender, kesadaran akan pentingnya kesetaraan, serta munculnya sikap kritis dan reflektif terhadap stereotip gender yang ada. Evaluasi kegiatan melalui diskusi dan formulir umpan balik menunjukkan bahwa metode interaktif yang digunakan efektif dalam menggugah pemikiran dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini berhasil mendorong peserta untuk menjadi agen perubahan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif, adil, dan bebas diskriminasi berbasis gender.

Abstract

The era of Civil Society 5.0 requires a new paradigm in education, including Islamic education, to respond to humanitarian challenges amid rapid digitalization. Islamic education is not only a means of transmitting knowledge and religious values but also an instrument for shaping a civil society that upholds Human Rights (HR), gender equality, and pluralism. In this context, Islamic education must integrate universal values into curricula, learning processes, and social practices, thereby fostering a Muslim generation that is inclusive, critical, and adaptive to contemporary changes. Contextualizing Islamic education within the framework of Civil Society 5.0 means harmonizing Islamic teachings with the demands of a technology-based modern society without losing its spiritual and moral essence. Thus, Islamic education has the potential to serve as a driving force in building a civilized society that balances religious, humanistic, and digital dimensions.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this research is to find out how the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in the implementation of guidance and counseling and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This study uses a type of qualitative research with field research research methods (Field Research). The data source for this research is the subject where the data is obtained, namely the respondent. The main data sources come from interviews and observations of high school guidance and counseling teachers in East Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research will be analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in Guidance and Counseling for Senior High Schools in East Kalimantan was running effectively which was proven by the delivery of guidance and counseling messages which contained the principles of counseling guidance, including: good and true words (Qaulan Sadidan and Qaulan Ma'rufa), communicative words (Qaulan Balighan), light words (Qaulan Masyura'), gentle words (Qaulan Layyina), and noble words (Qaulan Karima). The supporting factors in the implementation of counseling guidance are adequate and competent human resources, visible and invisible facilities and infrastructure, forms of cooperation between parents and the school, as well as periodic supervision. The inhibiting factors of the implementation of counseling guidance are the knowledge gap and the background of the students.
