Abstract

Planning entrepreneurial innovation in da'wah institutions is a strategic effort to combine social and religious missions with entrepreneurial principles. The aim of this planning is to increase the economic independence of Da'wah institutions, expand their reach, and make a greater contribution to society.  Entrepreneurial innovation involves developing business models that are in line with Islamic values, diversifying funding sources, and utilizing digital technology to optimize operations and da'wah activities. The planning process starts with analyzing the needs and potential of the institution, determining the entrepreneurial vision and mission that are in line with the goals of Da'wah, and then implementing innovative programs.  The main challenge in implementation is maintaining a balance between commercial objectives and missionary objectives, as well as creating a model that is sustainable in the long term. We hope that da'wah institutions can achieve economic independence and strengthen their position as agents of social change with broad impacts through effective planning

Abstract

The disruptive era will add to increasingly open global competition, many challenges faced by today's society. Each country must compete by highlighting the superiority of its respective resources, which is called entrepreneurship. Considering the importance of entrepreneurship, an entrepreneurial spirit needs to be instilled as early as possible. At the same time, in entrepreneurial outcomes, something called innovation is needed which has an important role in developing a number of new ideas, before being transformed into a product, the previous innovation must be evaluated to study whether the product will be successful on the market. Therefore, an institution needs to have the right strategy in marketing. Likewise with missionary institutions, in order to encourage goodness and prevent evil, there needs to be a strategy for innovation in the field of entrepreneurship. When an institution only focuses on traditional methods and does not look at modern things, the da'wah institution will position itself as an institution that only includes a vision and mission without any changes. Especially in this disruptive era, da'wah institutions are required to be part of immediately adapting to various advances in technology and knowledge. The research results show that da'wah institutions must have an innovation strategy in preaching, namely developing entrepreneurship programs, technological innovation in preaching, where da'wah institutions are not blind to the existence of technology that offers efficiency in the entrepreneurial development process in a disruptive era, collaboration that creates cooperation with various parties who have the same ideology and vision, and creates new business models.Keywords: Da'wah Institutions, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Disruptive Era[Era disruptif akan menambah persaingan global yang semakin terbuka, banyak tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Masyarakat sekarang ini. Setiap negara yang harus bersaing dengan menonjolkan keunggulan sumberdaya masing-masing yang disebut dengan wirausaha. Mengingat pentingnya kewirausahaan maka jiwa wirausaha perlu ditanamkan sedini mungkin. Tatkala dengan itu, dalam hasul wirausaha maka diperlukan yang Namanya inovasi yang memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan sejumlah ide-ide baru, sebelum ditransformasikan menjadi produk, inovasi sebelumnya harus dievaluasi untuk dikaji apakah produk tersebut akan berhasil dipasarkan. Maka dari itu sebuah lembaga perlu mempunyai strategi yang tepat dalam pemasaran. Begitu pula dengan lembaga dakwah, dalam mengajak kebaikan danm mencegah kemungkaran perlu adanya strategi dalam melakukan inovasi dalam bidang wirausaha. Tatkala lembaga hanya berfokus pada cara tradisional dan tidak melirik pada hal modern, maka lembaga dakwah tersebut akan meletakkan posisinya sebagai lembaga yang hanya mencantumkan visi misi tanpa adanya perubahan. Terutama pada era disruptif, lembaga dakwah dituntut untuk menjadi bagian yang segera beradaptasi dengan berbagai kemajuan teknologi dan pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga dakwah harus memiliki strategi inovasi dalam berdakwah yaitu pengembangan program kewirausahaan, inovasi teknologi dalam dakwah, Dimana lembaga dakwah tidak buta terhadap adanya teknologi yang memberikan tawaran efisiensi dalam proses perkembangan kewirausahaan di era disruptif, kolaborasi yang menciptakan Kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak yang mempunyai ideologi dan visi yang sama, dan menciptakan model bisnis baru]. Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang memberikan dampak signifikan dalam pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di lembaga dakwah, khususnya di Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI). Dalam era digital, lembaga dakwah dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan keagamaan secara efektif kepada masyarakat, terutama generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh TIK terhadap pengembangan SDM di MUI serta untuk mengeksplorasi pentingnya pembinaan karakter dan spiritual dalam konteks ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research, yang melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis dokumen resmi MUI, literatur terkait, dan sumber online yang relevan. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi tema dan informasi penting mengenai penerapan teknologi dalam dakwah dan pengembangan SDM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MUI telah memanfaatkan teknologi digital, seperti media sosial dan aplikasi mobile, untuk memperluas jangkauan dakwah dan meningkatkan efektivitas penyampaian pesan. Namun, keberhasilan dakwah digital sangat bergantung pada SDM yang profesional dan terlatih. Pembinaan karakter dan spiritual juga diidentifikasi sebagai aspek krusial dalam memastikan bahwa para dai tidak hanya memiliki kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga integritas dan nilai-nilai keislaman yang kuat. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi dakwah yang lebih efektif dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Abstract The background of this research focuses on the development of information and communication technology (ICT) which has a significant impact on the development of Human Resources (HR) in da'wah institutions, especially in the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). In the digital era, da'wah institutions are faced with the challenge of delivering religious messages effectively to the public, especially the younger generation. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of ICT on HR development in MUI and to explore the importance of character and spiritual development in this context. The research method used is library research, which involves collecting and analyzing official MUI documents, related literature, and relevant online sources. The data collected was analyzed in depth to identify important themes and information regarding the application of technology in da'wah and HR development. The results show that MUI has utilized digital technologies, such as social media and mobile applications, to expand the reach of da'wah and increase the effectiveness of message delivery. However, the success of digital da'wah is highly dependent on professional and trained human resources. Character and spiritual development were also identified as crucial aspects in ensuring that preachers not only have technical skills, but also integrity and strong Islamic values. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of digital da'wah programs.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as Islamic educational institutions, have great potential to become driving forces for social and environmental change through innovative entrepreneurial activities. Objective: This study aims to describe the entrepreneurial innovation model developed by the Ath-Thaariq Ecological Islamic Boarding School and its resulting social and environmental impacts. The research method uses a literature review research approach (systematic literature review). Results: The study shows that entrepreneurship at the Ath-Thaariq Ecological Islamic Boarding School is not only oriented towards economic profit, but also towards community empowerment and environmental preservation.Innovation based on agroecology, organic farming, and student entrepreneurship training are concrete practices of da'wah bil hal (Islamic outreach) that reflect the Islamic value of rahmatan lil 'alamin.

Abstract

This study aims to explore various zakat management models that have the potential to empower the economic well-being of mustahiq (zakat recipients). Utilizing a theoretical literature review method, the research evaluates the effectiveness of centralized and decentralized zakat management models in facilitating economic empowerment. The findings suggest that productive zakat management can enhance the welfare of mustahiq through entrepreneurial empowerment and economic capacity building. These results are expected to assist zakat institutions in maximizing zakat's role as a sustainable economic empowerment instrument.  Keywords: Zakat; Economic empowerment; Zakat management models.

Abstract

The current disruptive era is characterised by rapid digital technology, artificial intelligence, and platform‐based business models that shake established social and economic structures. In this context, religious propagation institutions face significant challenges: how to remain relevant yet ethical in a dynamic era? This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, examining key concepts such as disruptive innovation, organisational resistance, managerial ijtihâd, and Islamic entrepreneurship. The findings indicate that for survival and growth, da’wah institutions must cultivate a culture of managerial ijtihâd, strengthen visionary leadership grounded in Islamic values, and develop an innovation ethics framework that balances the idealism of da’wah mission with contemporary efficiency requirements. The study recommends four main strategic pillars: leadership capacity building, governance reform, digital literacy enhancement, and the formation of innovation ethics committees within da’wah institutions. Accordingly, da’wah organisations are not just able to endure the disruptive era but also become pioneers of dignified socio‐economic change.

Abstract

Islamic propagation institutions are crucial for spreading religious teachings and strengthening religious values ​​within society. In line with social dynamics, technological developments, and the challenges of the times, Islamic propagation institutions are required to continuously adapt and change. In this process, the role of leaders is vital. Leaders not only act as organizational directors but also as agents of change capable of encouraging innovation and improving the quality of Islamic propagation. Effective leadership involves the ability to structure the organization, distribute tasks and authority, formulate policies, and motivate members to achieve common goals. Leaders are also responsible for evaluating Islamic propagation results, identifying deviations, and formulating solutions to improve the effectiveness of Islamic propagation programs. Thus, the success of Islamic propagation institutions is largely determined by the quality of leadership in responding to change and strategically managing the organization.

Abstract

The disruptive era triggered by the development of digital technology, changes in social behavior, and the increasing flow of global information has fundamentally changed the da'wah ecosystem in Indonesia and the Islamic world in general. Digital transformation has not only shifted religious communication media to digital platforms but also introduced new logic in the production, distribution, and consumption of da'wah content. Da'wah institutions that previously relied on face-to-face approaches and hierarchical organizational structures are now required to adopt new business models that are more flexible, participatory, and oriented towards sustainability. This article examines the concept of a digital da'wah business model in depth through an analysis of value innovation, monetization mechanisms, congregation engagement strategies, and the formation of a collaborative ecosystem between da'wah institutions, technology platforms, and digital communities. Furthermore, this article explores how da'wah institutions can respond to disruptive challenges through organizational digital transformation, improving the digital competence of da'i (preachers), and developing financing schemes relevant to the development of Sharia-based digital philanthropy. A literature review shows that platform-based digital da'wah can expand the reach of da'wah, strengthen interactions with congregations, and improve program sustainability. However, it also poses risks related to the commercialization of da'wah, the degradation of religious authority, and the amplification of algorithmically biased religious narratives. Therefore, new business models for da'wah institutions must be strategically designed to integrate da'wah values, institutional sustainability, and digital ethics to survive and thrive in an ever-evolving disruptive environment.
