Abstract

The use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Discovery Learning is an interesting approach in an effort to increase students' scientific literacy. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of Discovery Learning-based LKPD in increasing students' scientific literacy. This research uses the ADDIE research model with research subjects totaling 30 students in class IV UPTD SDN 23 Negeri Katon. This development research has produced Student Worksheets (LKPD) which have been tested through validation and evaluation, and declared "Very Valid" and "Very Appropriate" for use. The LKPD that has been created has gone through a process that is in accordance with the recommendations and benefits according to experts. The research results show that the use of Discovery Learning-based LKPD significantly increases students' understanding of science concepts compared to conventional learning methods. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating Discovery Learning-based LKPD in science learning to increase students' scientific literacy at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Primary education plays an important role in shaping the foundation of students' knowledge, especially in Natural and Social Sciences (NSP) subjects in grade 4. Choosing grade 4 as the focus of learning is very strategic because at this age, children are in a critical stage of cognitive development where they begin to be able to think logically and understand more abstract concepts. LKPD is a learning tool designed to provide guidance and steps to students in the form of worksheets that contain instructions, steps, and tasks to be completed. LKPD serves as a medium that helps students organize and internalize learning material more effectively, as well as develop analytical thinking skills and problem solving through hands-on and exploratory activities. The photosynthesis material in the 4th grade Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject of the Merdeka Curriculum was chosen for research because photosynthesis is a basic concept that is very important for students' understanding of the plant life cycle and the basics of ecosystems. Photosynthesis teaches students about how plants produce food and oxygen, which are essential for the life of all living things. A solid understanding of the photosynthesis process can help students appreciate the importance of protecting the environment and increase their awareness of environmental issues. In addition, it lays the foundation for more complex science lessons later in their education. Conventional learning methods are often unable to optimally motivate students, resulting in low learning outcomes. To overcome this problem, the development of Discovery Learning-based Learner Worksheets (LKPD) is an alternative solution. This study aims to determine the initial picture of student learning outcomes using LKPD. The method used is descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument. The results of the study were an average of 55. This result shows that the average value of students does not yet have a basic understanding of the concept of photosynthesis. The follow-up of the results of this study is the need to develop Discovery Learning-based LKPD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain pra-eksperimen, dimulai dengan validasi LKPD oleh para ahli. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal siswa. LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning kemudian digunakan dalam beberapa sesi pembelajaran. Setelah penggunaan LKPD, post-test dilaksanakan untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Wawancara dengan guru dan siswa juga dilakukan untuk memperoleh masukan terkait penggunaan LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning mencapai 79.63, dengan peningkatan rata-rata 28.15 dibandingkan pre-test. Analisis data menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 16.65, jauh lebih tinggi dari nilai tabel sebesar 2.06 pada tingkat signifikansi 0.05, menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, LKPD berbasis Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN 2 Merak Belantung terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

The results of the study on biodiversity of students in class X high school in a heritage site contained some biodiversity material that had not maximized the results regarding the content of heritage as determined by UNESCO, namely the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) in the Tanggamus district. The results of this study have not been linked to learning in schools, especially in schools located around heritage. The MGMP in biology accommodates learning problems including real-world problems in the surrounding environment. Biology MGMP activities in Tanggamus Regency are still not touched by the issue of heritage biodiversity in the learning process. other than that it has not been seen working with the Ministry of Forestry. The Ministry of Forestry is a very important partner regarding biodiversity material, which this material must be studied according to the demands of the school curriculum. The MGMP workshop in the field of biology partnered with the Ministry of Forestry and the University of Lampung Research Team to produce products in the form of Learning Implementation Plans, LKPD, and learning media. The product contains topics related to biodiversity which were developed through FGDs in Tanggamus Regency at heritage sites. It is hoped that this activity will enable teachers to convey reliable biodiversity knowledge to change students' paradigms regarding the importance of developing world heritage conservation.

Abstract

An analysis of the development of 4Cs-oriented learning for elementary school teachers in the post-COVID-19 pandemic needs to be carried out to determine the level of success in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining the quality of learning outcomes oriented to 4Cs skills. These four skills form the basis of student readiness in dealing with the rapid development of science and technology that is occurring in the 21st century. The results of a preliminary study by researchers on nine SD Gugus Raden Intan Kec. Candipuro, South Lampung Regency, Indonesia, found three main problems (1) the learning objectives represented in the learning outcomes of students were not 4Cs oriented: (2) teachers in implementing online learning during the pandemic were not oriented towards achieving 4Cs skills. (3) teachers have not made professional development demands to develop interactive media, interesting methods, and several learning systems that accommodate 4Cs skills oriented learning effectiveness during a pandemic. The sample in this study involved 27 lower grade teachers who taught grades 1, 2, and 3 at SD Gugus Raden Intan Kec. Candipuro, South Lampung Regency, Indonesia. The focus of learning development analysis in this study aims to obtain an intervention that can help improve teacher competence in developing learning that is oriented towards the achievement of the 4Cs skills after the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbantuan Assemblr Studio yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada materi perangkat jaringan fiber optik untuk peserta didik kelas X di SMK. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya variasi bahan ajar dan keterbatasan perangkat jaringan fiber optik yang tersedia di sekolah. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Produk yang dikembangkan pada Assemblr Studio memuat fitur augmented reality dan barcode yang dapat dipindai melalui aplikasi Assemblr Studio untuk meningkatkan interaktivitas pembelajaran. Hasil: Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan skor dari ahli materi sebesar 97,9% dan dari ahli media sebesar 94,2%. Uji kepraktisan memperoleh nilai 90,9% dari respon pendidik dan 82,3% dari keterbacaan peserta didik, keduanya termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas melalui perhitungan N-gain menunjukkan rata-rata kelas kontrol 0,32 (rendah) dan kelas eksperimen 0,55 (sedang), sedangkan hasil Paired Sample T-test menghasilkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 yang menandakan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan. Kesimpulan: Modul pembelajaran berbantuan Assemblr Studio terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada materi perangkat jaringan fiber optik di SMK.

Abstract

Pengembangan modul elektronik berbasis model pembelajaran Observasi, Berpikir Analisis, dan Komunikasi (OBAK) dengan bantuan platform Google Sites. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-Module berbasis Model OBAK pada materi Tipografi kelas X SMK Desain Komunikasi Visual yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMK Negeri 5 Bandarlampung. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan jenis kuantitatif deskriptif. Uji coba kelompok kecil menggunakan angket respons peserta didik dan guru, sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar dengan Pre-test dan Post-test. Desain uji coba kelompok besar penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pre-test Post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase penilaian oleh ahli materi dan ahli media masing-masing sebesar 95%, uji kepraktisan melalui respons pengguna guru memperoleh 94,1% dan respons pengguna peserta didik uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 85,75%, serta respons peserta didik terhadap Model OBAK sebesar 86,6%. Hal tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Uji keefektifan dengan menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan e-Module berbasis Model OBAK memiliki pengaruh atau perbedaan yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan e-Module berbasis Model OBAK pada materi Tipografi layak digunakan dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMK Desain Komunikasi Visual di SMK Negeri 5 Bandarlampung.

Abstract

Critical thinking skill is a skill that students need to have in the 21st century. When students have critical thinking skills, they are expected to be able to seriously understand, analyze, and process the information before making a decision. The research objective is to improve students' critical thinking skills through PBL-based worksheets on the subject of the human digestive system. This LKPD product was developed using the ADDIE model, which was tested at MIN 2 West Lampung. As many as 15 students were in the control class and 25 students were in the experimental class. The research results indicate that the validated LKPD based on the validity test analysis using Aiken reveals a score of 0.8210 in the valid category. The analysis of the practicality test indicates 85% for educators and 88% for students, both are in the very practical category. The product effectiveness analysis reveals an average pre-test score of 58.4 and an average post-test score of 83.2. The development of worksheets based on the PBL model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills.
