Abstract

Students from Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) carried out a Community Service Program (KKN) in Perteguhen Village, Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Karo Regency. This program was held from July 30 to September 1, 2025. For more than a month, the students organized various activities, which were divided into major programs, weekly activities, and daily routines. The main purpose of this KKN program was to give students the opportunity to learn directly from the community while also helping to explore and develop the village’s potential. In this way, students not only gained theoretical knowledge at the university but also practical experience by engaging with the daily lives of the villagers. The implementation began with a field survey to better understand the condition of the village, followed by planning programs that matched the needs of the community. All activities were carried out with the support of the village head and local residents, creating a sense of closeness and togetherness. Some of the major programs included helping the community with activities that supported the improvement of the local economy, exploring local potential, and organizing social and religious programs to foster peace and harmony. In addition, students also worked with elementary school children by providing tutoring sessions and Qur’an lessons, giving them extra support both in academics and religious education. Through this KKN program, it is hoped that the people of Perteguhen Village can directly benefit in the areas of education, social life, and the economy. For the students, this experience served as a valuable opportunity to broaden their knowledge, build empathy, and strengthen their sense of responsibility. The presence of UINSU students in Perteguhen Village is expected to leave a positive impact by creating a more peaceful, united, and prosperous community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen strategis dan operasional dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan mahasiswa Manajemen Universitas Negeri Medan. Manajemen strategis dan operasional berperan penting dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang lebih efektif, dengan input berupa tenaga pengajar yang berkualitas, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, serta sistem administrasi yang terkelola dengan baik. Output yang diharapkan adalah lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja dan perkembangan zaman.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa, observasi terhadap sistem manajemen akademik, serta analisis dokumen terkait kebijakan strategis dan operasional universitas. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen yang baik, termasuk perencanaan akademik yang matang dan kebijakan operasional yang efektif, berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Integrasi antara strategi dan operasional terbukti berperan dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur dan berdampak positif pada kesiapan lulusan dalam menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja. Dengan demikian, sinergi antara manajemen strategis dan operasional sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang optimal.

Abstract

Layanan PayLater merupakan inovasi dalam sistem pembayaran digital yang memungkinkan konsumen melakukan pembelian sekarang dan membayar di kemudian hari. Meskipun menawarkan kemudahan dan fleksibilitas, penggunaanPayLater yang berlebihan dapat menimbulkan dampak negative, baik secara finansial maupu psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ketergantungan konsumen terhadap layanan PayLater di e-commerce terhadap kondisi keuangan dan aspek psikologis pengguna. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap konsumen aktif e-commerce yang menggunakan layanan PayLater. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara tingkat ketergantungan dan dampak yang dirasakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memeberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai implikasi penggunaan PayLater, serta menjadi dasar bagi upaya edukasi keuangan digital yang bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This article aims to re-examine the concept of nusyuz by placing it within a more egalitarian framework of marital relations through a critical reading of classical fiqh literature, modern fiqh discourse, and the practice of Islamic family law in Indonesia. This study employs a library research method by collecting data from classical fiqh manuals, exegetical works, academic journals, religious court decisions, and positive legal regulations. All materials were analyzed qualitatively using a comparative–interpretive approach to identify how gender bias is constructed within the discourse of nusyuz and how it influences legal reasoning. The findings indicate that classical literature frequently positions nusyuz as a violation attributed primarily to wives, whereas contemporary discourse increasingly asserts that such actions may be committed by either spouse, thereby challenging hierarchical understandings of the marital relationship. An examination of religious court rulings reveals that many judges still rely on textual frameworks that offer limited space for more egalitarian interpretations, although there is an emerging tendency toward approaches more responsive to dynamics of violence and relational inequality. This analysis recommends the development of interpretive models attentive to social context and to principles of reciprocal justice in order to enhance the gender sensitivity of family law practice and reduce inequities arising from rigid normative interpretations. Tulisan ini bertujuan menelusuri kembali konsep nusyuz dengan menempatkannya dalam kerangka relasi suami–istri yang lebih setara, melalui pembacaan kritis terhadap literatur fiqh klasik, fiqh modern, serta praktik hukum keluarga Islam di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan metode library research dengan menghimpun data dari kitab-kitab fiqh, karya tafsir, jurnal akademik, putusan pengadilan agama, serta regulasi hukum positif. Seluruh bahan dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui pendekatan komparatif-interpretatif untuk melihat bagaimana bias gender terbentuk dalam wacana nusyuz dan bagaimana ia memengaruhi pertimbangan hukum. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa konsep nusyuz dalam banyak literatur klasik lebih sering diposisikan sebagai pelanggaran yang ditujukan kepada istri, sementara wacana kontemporer mulai menegaskan bahwa tindakan serupa dapat dilakukan kedua belah pihak sehingga relasi rumah tangga tidak lagi dipahami secara hierarkis. Kajian terhadap putusan pengadilan agama mengungkap bahwa sebagian hakim masih mengandalkan kerangka tekstual yang kurang memberi ruang pada pendekatan yang lebih setara, meskipun ada kecenderungan baru yang lebih responsif terhadap dinamika kekerasan dan ketimpangan relasi. Analisis ini merekomendasikan perlunya model pembacaan yang memperhatikan konteks sosial dan prinsip keadilan hubungan timbal balik agar praktik hukum keluarga lebih sensitif terhadap ketidaksetaraan gender yang muncul dari interpretasi normatif yang kaku

Abstract

Digital literacy is important in education in the era of Society 5.0, because teachers are required to be facilitators in supporting students to become digital learners. To support the success of students in becoming digital learners, the role of teachers in the use of technology during learning activities also contributes. The existence of these demands makes the use of virtual reality media in the learning environment an alternative that can be done to create learning activities that meet the demands in the Society 5.0 era. The purpose of this service activity is to improve the digital literacy of IGI Pekanbaru. as well as introduce virtual reality-based learning media as a renewable learning media innovation to support student learning activities in the digital era. In this service, the methods include presentation, demonstration, and practice. The results showed that teacher training in making VR learning media can improve their digital literacy. This training can also help teachers create interactive and interesting technology-based collaborative learning media for modern learning.
