Abstract

Kebutuhan gula untuk manusia sangat tinggi. Gula digunakan sebagai bahan makanan tambahan yang memberikan rasa manis pada makanan dan minuman. Namun, konsumsi gula yang berlebih dapat menimbulkan masalah kesehatan. Penyakit obesitas dan diabetes mellitus adalah dua penyakit yang selalu dihubungkan dengan konsumsi gula yang berlebih. Gula Stevia merupakan salah satu sumber pemanis selain tebu yang memiliki kelebihan berupa tingkat kemanisan 200-300 kali dari gula tebu. Gula stevia didapat dari hasil proses ekstrak daun stevia. Pengolahan gula stevia dilakukan dengan metode ekstrasi dengan menggunakan sistem IoT. Produksi gula stevia dengan menggunakan system IoT ini diharapkan dapat meningkat jumlahnya secara signifikan untuk memenuhi permintaan ekspor sampai dengan 1000 ton perbulan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang penerapan HACCP ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk gula stevia dari segi kesehatan.

Abstract

Bencana banjir adalah bencana alam yang terjadi karena faktor alam maupun faktor manusia. Jakarta merupakan salah satu daerah di Indonesia yang sering mengalami bencana banjir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara langsung secara terbuka kepada 15 informan daerah DKI Jakarta dan merupakan wilayah dengan titik banjir terparah yaitu Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara; Cakung, Jakarta Timur; Rawa Buaya, Jakarta Barat; Manggarai, Jakarta Selatan; dan Sawah Besar, Jakarta Pusat yang mewakili 5 wilayah di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian diambil dari jawaban respon terhadap masalah kesiapsiagaan banjir di Jakarta yang Menunjukkan bahwa respon dan kesiapsiagaan sebelum terjadi banjir terdapat (67%) mengatakan bahwa mereka memperoleh informasi dari melihat sendiri kondisi sekitar yang sering mengalami banjir; Respon dan Kesiapsiagaan Pada Saat Terjadi Banjir menunjukkan (53,5%) mengatakan tetap bertahan di rumah; Respon dan Kesiapsiagaan Pasca terjadinya banjir menunjukkan (100%) mengatakan bahwa mereka langsung membersihkan rumah mereka yang terkena banjir. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat tidak takut dengan adanya bencana banjir, dilihat dari respon dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat sebelum datanya banjir yang hanya melihat kondisi lingkungan sekitar tanpa perlu mencari informasi dari media ataupun aparat, selain itu masyarakat juga sudah tahu apa saja yang perlu diapkan dalam menghadapi banjir, bahkan beberapa orang mengatakan tidak perlu mempersiapkan apapun, hanya tinggal mengungsi sambil memantau rumah apabila banjir datang. Respon dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Jakarta dalam nenghadapi banjir, pada saat terjadinya banjir, persentase masyarakat yang merasa tidak perlu mengungsi apabila terjadi banjir lebih besar daripada presentasi masyarakat yang mengungsi pada saat terjadi banjir ini membuktikan bahwa masyarakat tidak merasa khawatir dengan bencana banjir di wilayahnya. Respon dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Jakarta dalam menghadapi banjir, pasca terjadinya banjir, masyarakat merasa hanya perlu memperbaiki kondisi rumah yang rusak akibat banjir dan tidak berniat untuk pindah rumah.

Abstract

Cileungsi merupakan salah satu daerah yang ada di Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia yang memiliki sungai cukup besar. Sungai ini memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kehidupan masyarakat sekitar, termasuk pasokan air bersih, irigasi pertanian, dan sumber daya perikanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memantau kualitas air sungai, terutama Sungai Cileungsi, karena meningkatnya aktivitas masyarakat dan industri. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada laporan pemantauan kualitas air Sungai Cileungsi yang dibuat secara online menggunakan sistem telemetri Onlimo. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi literatur. Jenis referensi utama yang digunakan dalam pemantauan kualitas air Sungai Cileungsi adalah menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari laman Onlimo yang dikelola oleh Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, buku, jurnal, dan artikel-artikel ilmiah. Kategori indeks pemantauan pencemaran air di Sungai Cileungsi mengandung amonia 14,2%, BOD 5,5%, COD 1,6%, DO 0,4%, Nitrat 0,2%, PH 0,01%, TDS 0,1%, dan TSS 1,11%. Berdasarkan Permen LHK No.27 Tahun 2021, hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa pada tanggal 10 Mei 2023 status mutu air Sungai Cileungsi dalam kategori cemar berat akibat tingginya parameter pencemaran amonia yaitu 14,2%.

Abstract

Sungai Bengawan Solo telah mengalami penurunan kapasitas, baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan fungsi dan kinerja sungai sebagai sumber air bagi mayoritas masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal di pinggiran Sungai Solo menjadi kurang optimal. Upaya meningkatkan pemantauan kualitas air Sungai Bengawan Solo memerlukan program pemantauan yang berkelanjutan dan dilaksanakan secara online. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan upaya pengendalian pencemaran air yang lebih handal dalam rangka untuk menjaga kualitas air sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memantau kualitas air secara berkala dan menentukan status mutu air di Sungai Bengawan Solo, Stasiun KLHK 60. Sistem online monitoring digunakan untuk pengukuran kualitas air menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP), dengan Parameter kualitas air yang digunakan untuk analisis yaitu Amonia, BOD, COD, pH, TSS, TDS. Data tersebut akan dianalisis secara online menggunakan teknologi pemantauan kualitas air jarak jauh, online dan real-time atau disebut dengan Onlimo. Hasil analisis pemantauan kualitas air sungai Bengawan Solo menyatakan kandungan Amonia sebesar 13,91%, kebutuhan oksigen kimiawi (COD) 1,84%, BOD 3,31%, kebutuhan oksigen (DO) 0,28%, Nitrat (pH) 0,21%, total dissolved solid (TDS) 0,23%, Total Suspended Solid (TSS) 3,23%. Berdasarkan hasil analisa pada tanggal 26 April 2024 status mutu air Sungai Bengawan Solo kedalam kategori cemar berat yang mengakibatkan tingginya parameter pencemaran amonia sebesar 13,91%.

Abstract

Gula aren adalah produk pertanian dari nira pohon kelapa atau pohon aren yang memiliki potensi ekspor senilai 2,2 juta dolar AS atau sekitar Rp30.000.000.000,-(tiga puluh milyar rupiah) berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2018. Pemasakan gula aren memiliki tahap awal yang dilakukan petani dengan menggunakan kayu bakar sehingga berdampak terhadap lingkungan berupa CO2 yang juga dapat menjadi sumber potensi kontaminasi diakibatkan terlepasnya polutan di udara dan rentan terjadinya kebakaran. Tujuan dari sosialisasi Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) kepada petani gula aren untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan prinsip keamanan pangan pada proses produksi gula aren. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan dan dihadiri oleh para petani gula aren dari Desa Sirnaresmi Kecamatan Cisolok Kabupaten Sukabumi. Para peserta memperoleh tambahan informasi, pengetahuan, pengalaman tentang pentingnya menerapkan HACCP dalam proses pemasakan gula aren serta keinginan untuk menerapkan.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a relatively high incidence of flooding since its establishment in the Dutch East Indies era because geomorphologically Jakarta is a floodplain area. On the other hand, land pressure by increasing urbanization in the city of Jakarta results in the increasingly limited availability of decent housing land for the community so that lands that should be water catchment areas and riverbanks are transformed into densely populated flying areas which ultimately reduces water absorption capacity in the Jakarta area. To obtain fast data in identifying flood-affected areas, the technique of identifying the potential extent and distribution of flooding by utilizing the remote sensing NDWI (Normalized Difference Water Index) method and/or using the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI) method from the free data Sentinel 2A satellite can be useful to provide data input to relevant parties in DKI Jakarta Province. Opportunities and constraints The application of NDWI and/or MNDWI techniques will greatly assist mapping activities and identification of the distribution of flood areas as an alternative input to policymakers for action and anticipation of areas with high flood potential. This research is one of the first steps and input to the DKI Jakarta Government in making strategies and roadmaps for flood mitigation in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

The still high level of work accidents requires companies to implement work safety and health programs to prevent work accidents. HIRADC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, And Determining Control) is one of the K3 programs which consists of a series of activities to identify potential hazards and risks and provide appropriate control efforts according to the level of hazard risk. Based on the results of determining the risk level, there are 7 process activities with 2 types of risk. In each process activity, 5 (71%) hazard risks are included in the moderate category, and 2 (29%) hazard risks are included in the acceptable category.

Abstract

The Vaname Shrimp Cultivation Group of Sindanglaya Village, Cinangka District, Serang Regency - Banten which is currently in the form of a cooperative with the name of the Tunas Harapan Core Producer Cooperative. The urgency of this community-based empowerment activity is the need for an increase in technology, especially in the cultivation of vaname shrimp, the problems that occur in the community based on the results of studies and identification of vaname shrimp farmers are known to be the process of preparing shrimp feed. Where the process of mixing shrimp feed still uses manual methods or using hands so that it is not evenly distributed and takes a long time. The next problem in pond management in the process of checking the quality of water content still uses an uncalibrated pH meter. Problems in other areas related to production management and marketing, shrimp pond managers still use the usual method, not following technological developments. The implementation method follows five stages of community service, namely 1. Socialization, 2. Training, 3. Application of technology, 4. Mentoring and evaluation, 5. Sustainability of the program. The results of the activity showed an increase in technology related to the production process of vaname shrimp cultivation, namely the manufacture of a vaname shrimp feed mixer/mixer machine in Sindanglaya Village and the socialization of the use of vaname shrimp feed mixer/mixer machines for vaname shrimp farming groups in Sindanglaya Village, especially in the Tunas Harapan Core Producer Cooperative. Furthermore, improvements related to marketing management in the Community Empowerment (PKM) program were the implementation of a Workshop on the Development of Production Management and Marketing Management based on information technology and assistance in operating online marketing applications. The conclusion in the production sector was an increase in the number of vaname shrimp harvests and an increase in knowledge related to production and marketing management.

Abstract

Climate change in Indonesia has a significant impact on public health due to extreme weather that triggers various diseases, such as diarrhea, influenza, pruritus, ARI, malnutrition, and stress. This study aims to design and implement a web-based expert system with the Forward Chaining method to help the community make early diagnoses of diseases affected by climate change. The research method uses a descriptive design and a cross-sectional approach. The location of the study was carried out at the Mekarmukti Health Center, North Cikarang with a sample consisting of 100 patients who experienced symptoms of climate-related diseases and were selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies, then the questionnaire data were analyzed using the Chi Square test to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with the expert system. The results of the study showed that this system was able to effectively diagnose diseases due to climate change such as pruritus (P01), diarrhea (P02), and influenza (P03) which are commonly found in the Cikarang area. This system has proven to be useful as an information technology innovation that provides accurate symptom and diagnosis information like an expert. In conclusion, this expert system can be widely accessed by the public and functions as an early diagnosis aid in health care facilities in dealing with diseases impacted by climate change.

Abstract

The Musi River is a natural resource which is one of the main trade routes and the largest air supplier for the people of South Sumatra. However, the condition of the Mus River has undergone changes due to dense settlements and industry. Water quality is an important factor in the sustainability of an ecosystem. Ecosystem damage can start from declining air quality which results in industrial waste that pollutes the Musi River. Water quality measurement parameters include measurements of oxygen, TSS, COD, BOD. Observation station sampling was carried out using Onlimo telemetry technology.  Onlimo is a remote, online and real-time air quality monitoring technology developed by BPPT. Sampling was carried out during the transition season on the Musi River which was divided into station 1 located in the Musi River (PDAM Tirta Randik area, Balui Air Unit, Sanga Desa District). On May 10, 2023 there was a pollution index of 7.32 with moderate contamination with the critical parameters Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD). There was an increase in the Pollution index of 7.51 due to an increase in Nitrate from 16 May 2023 to 17 May 2023 due to input from anthropogenic waste caused by differences in sampling time, besides that season and rainfall are reported to play an important role in dissolving a number of components in the waters. For this reason, to prevent and improve the function of the Musi River, namely the government must act decisively on violations committed by factories or companies or the public who dispose of waste carelessly
