Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Pancasila values ​​in students' activities at school, at home, and in the community. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and students at SDN 101738 Diski. The results indicate that the internalization of Pancasila values ​​is reflected in students' daily habits, including religious attitudes, discipline, cooperation, tolerance, and responsibility. The application of these values ​​is reinforced by familiarization at school and support from family and the community. This study confirms that Pancasila-based character education plays a crucial role in shaping moral, critical, and competitive individuals as the nation's next generation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the instillation of patriotism character values ​​in students of Hosana Private Elementary School, Medan Deli. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, with data sources including the principal, teachers, students, and related documents. Data were collected through observations of school activities, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then tested for validity by triangulating sources and analyzed through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that patriotism values ​​are instilled through intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, with the support of the active role of teachers, a conducive school culture, and student involvement in activities based on local culture and nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the values ​​of hard work and responsibility in extracurricular Scouting activities in elementary schools. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Scout leaders, and students. The results indicate that the values ​​of hard work and responsibility are instilled through practical activities, competitions, and outdoor activities that foster discipline and a sense of responsibility in students. This study recommends reinforcing these character values ​​in learning and suggests further study of other character values.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa sekolah dasar dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Berpikir kritis memungkinkan siswa untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara rasional serta membentuk pribadi yang reflektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran filsafat pendidikan dalam membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan kajian literatur dengan menelaah berbagai artikel ilmiah dari jurnal sebagai sumber relavan, dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat pendidikan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap penguatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Integrasi filsafat pendidikan dalam pembelajaran mampu melahirkan siswa yang kritis, analitis, dan adaptif. Selain itu, penerapan filsafat progresivisme dan epistemologi pendidikan relevan diterapkan di sekolah dasar karena menekankan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman nyata, logika, serta refleksi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine various challenges and find solutions to instilling character education in the digital era. The research was conducted using qualitative methods through a naturalistic approach. Data collection techniques included surveys, interviews, observations, and literature studies. The analysis process was conducted based on Creswell's six stages of analysis. The results show that digital development presents two sides: challenges and opportunities in strengthening character education. The digital era has proven capable of supporting the implementation of character education, but at the same time, it raises ethical issues that must be managed appropriately. Challenges faced include maintaining a balanced use of technology, issues of security and safety in cyberspace, cases of digital bullying, sexting practices, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The role of education policymakers is crucial in designing consistent and sustainable digital-based character learning strategies. However, implementation faces obstacles such as the influence of global culture, teachers' limited understanding of Pancasila, and a lack of supporting facilities. Therefore, collaboration between the government, schools, and the community is necessary. This study emphasizes that internalizing Pancasila values in the digital era must be carried out through a comprehensive and sustainable strategy to be able to meet the challenges of technological development.
