Abstract

Along with the university policy for remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal era, learning management system (LMS) become one of various alternative system to handle online learning. However, its application needs to be well-prepared and well-designed. This present study was a need analysis as an initial stage in developing Moodle LMS-based EFL Materials for academic writing course at university. The participants were 67 students from academic writing course. A questionnaire was major instrument to find out the learning needs and context, accompanied by documentation to seek the activities and materials on the existing course. The results show the needs of academic writing course and the proposed EFL materials through Moodle LMS. Student-participants revealed that the course should be able to improve students’ writing skill in developing academic texts through essay development and research article. Moreover, process writing approach and genre-based approach become the most preferable approach for teaching with plenty of sample texts in PDF format. The students-participants also thought that teacher-feedback, individual project-based assessment, and real-time online session or synchronous mode are the best for online learning through LMS. The proposed Moodle LMS-based EFL materials apparently adopts the steps of process genre-based approach and a framework of Bloom’s digital taxonomy.

Abstract

The concept is known as e-Learning brings the influence of conventional education in the transformation process into digital form, both contents (contents) and the system. Nowadays the concept of e-Learning has been widely accepted by the world community, as evidenced by the widespread implementation of e-learning in educational institutions. E-learning enables learners to access information that is accurate and up-to-date without the barriers of space and time. Ease of access to E-learning makes students can learn from anywhere and at any time origin have adequate internet connection. The conclusion is: (1) Students can easily take courses anywhere without being confined again to the constraints of the institution and the state, (2) Students can easily sit and discuss with experts or experts in the field of interest, (3) Course materials even can easily be taken in various parts of the world without depending on the college in which students learn. Abstract

The research objective is to obtain an appropriate media and learning physics can help understanding the basic concepts in physics learning, especially for the completion of a straight motion of matter in the junior class VII. The study design used in this study is a 2x2 factorial design with three variables, namely instructional media, interest in student learning, and learning outcomes Physics. The samples obtained through the Multi Stage Sampling, each 13 person for 4 classes, so that individual large sample size of 52 students. Data analysis using ANOVA of two lines techniques, and first performed a descriptive statistical analysis and test analysis requirements. The results showed that: 1) there is the differences of learning outcomes of students who were taught physics learning media fascination with physics and conventional instructional media, 2) there is the differences of learning outcomes of students who are interested in studying physics of high and low learning interest, and 3) there is an interaction effect of learning media and interest in learning the results of learning Physics.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a mathematics instructional design emblem recognition numbers in grade 1 Elementary School Exceptional Tunagrahita, especially students with Down syndrome. This study design is based on the analysis of the mathematical competence requirements that should be owned by SDLB graduates first class as early competence to continue math in grade 2 and baseline characteristics of learners to fit the given instructional design. The collection of data by observation and interviews with teachers and parents of students. This research referring to the Instructional Development Model (MPI). This watchfulness consists of several steps, namely: (1) identify needs and writing instructional objectives, (2) the instructional analysis, (3) identify the behavior and character of early learners, (4) write aim instructional special, (5) composed result evaluation tool learns, (6) composed strategy instructional, (7) develop instructional materials, (8) carry out formative evaluation. The findings of the research that produced a design of a comprehensive learning in accordance with the purpose of learning mathematics learners tunagrahita particularly Down syndrome SDLB C grade 1.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to develop MONOTIKA learning media (Monopoly Mathematics) and test the feasibility of MONOTIKA learning media (Monopoly Mathematics) in algebraic materials for middle school students. The learning development model is the ADDIE design model. This study's sources of needs analysis are SMP Negeri 126 and SMP Negeri 209 east Jakarta area. Data collection techniques used are teacher interviews and polling stations. Validation of the development of this learning media between 2 validators is material experts and media experts and students response usage if MONOTIKA media is used in schools. This media trial was conducted on 41 students in grades 7 G and 7 H at SMP Negeri 209 Jakarta. This study showed that MONOTIKA (Monopoly Mathematics) obtained a total average score for all aspects of all is 4.50 material expert validity and 4.28 valid expert media, which is an average media that deserves good both as a learning medium. Student poll results showed an average score of 4.47, which the average student gave responsibility for positive MONOTIKA (Monopoly Mathematics). Thus, the results of the development of MONOTIKA (Monopoly Mathematics) learning media for junior high school students in grade VII are valid and eligible for use.

Abstract

Human beings as social creatures need cooperative with others due to their independencies. It means that cooperative is needed by all the people. Recently, some of the problems in education are the students’ cooperative is still not optimal and the low point of students’ achievement in the learning process. In cooperative learning, one of the methods is Think Pair Share method that can improve the students’ achievement. This method is focused on student-center that allows students to think independently forming ideas of their own then they are grouped in pairs to discuss their thoughts and train their social interaction to articulate their ideas and to consider those of others. Improving the students’ teamwork in cooperative learning through Think Pair Share habitually will achieve the purpose of studying.
