Abstract

Covid-19 health protocol regulations cause limited space for people to move, which has an impact on the social and economic life of the community. This condition gives rise to new habits, people must always maintain cleanliness which causes an increasing people's consumption of cleaners such as hand sanitizers, soaps, disinfectants, and others. In addition, people also often consume nutritious foods such as vegetables and fruit, thereby increasing the amount of household waste. However, housing conditions with limited yards and far from Final Disposal Sites (TPA) create a new problem, namely the accumulation of household waste. This condition is also experienced by the people of Mekarsari Village. The technique of converting organic waste into eco-enzymes plays an important role in reducing the amount of organic waste that ends up in landfill. Through community service activities, the team held an Eco-enzyme Making Training as an Alternative Hand Sanitizer during the Covid-19 Pandemic for the people of Mekarsari Village. Community service activities have been carried out and have been able to educate the public in processing household waste, especially organic waste, into eco-enzymes. Furthermore, the eco-enzyme can be used as a hand sanitizer.

Abstract

Abstract

The existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is an economic pillar both on a family scale and on a national scale. Even so, there are many problems faced by MSMEs in maintaining and at the same time advancing the business they are engaged in as is the case with the MSME Dodol Making Group in Bojonggede Village, Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. The problem faced by partners is difficulties during the dodol rolling process, especially when orders are overflowing. Because the rolling process still uses human power, it causes fatigue for workers and has an impact on non-standard products. The second problem is related to the unhealthy condition of the production process room (kitchen) and display area. The Kampung Bangkit Program for Welfare Improvement for the Dodol Group in Bojonggede Village, Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency, aims to increase production as well as improve production facilities and infrastructure that guarantee the health of its workers. The method used is to conduct training on the process of rolling dodol with a simple rolling machine, counseling on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) management, and piloting production process infrastructure and facilities through kitchen arrangement. The result of this community service activity is the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process from the processing, packaging, and product display stages. This has a direct impact on increasing production and increasing dodol orders which are felt directly by partners.

Abstract

Indonesia has a large amount of liquid waste originating from the tofu industry. Currently, the treatment of tofu industrial wastewater is carried out using both anaerobic and aerobic methods, but both methods still have several weaknesses. In this study, the tofu industrial wastewater was utilized as a culture medium for Spirulina sp. to provide economic value from wastewater that can be used as bioethanol, pharmaceuticals, and food products rich in omega 3, chlorophyll, carotenoids. Aim: The growth of Spirulina sp. is closely related to the availability of macro and micronutrients as nutrients and the influence of environmental conditions, so this study was aimed to see the best variation of the addition of urea and NaHCO3 as additional nutrients to maximize growth and cell density of Spirulina sp. with tofu industrial wastewater media. Methodology and Results: This study was done by culvitating Spirulina sp in the growth media, measuring the Optical Density (OD), and analyzing quantitatively and using ANOVA on IBM SPSS Statistics version 20. The study indicated that adding urea and NaHCO3 to Spirulina sp. had no effect on cell density and growth rate. Treatment with addition of urea 0.36 g/500 ml without additional of NaHCO3 had the highest growth rate, 0.00852/day, and the highest cell density value on Spirulina sp. growth. Conclusion, significance, and impact study: The tofu liquid waste can be used as a new alternative used as fertilizer because in the liquid tofu waste, it provides the nutrients needed by Spirulina sp.

Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 52 of 2017, which later this regulation was revised into Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 12 of 2020 the government has issued a new regulation related to the upstream oil and gas business, namely the Gross Split Production Sharing Contract scheme. In this scheme, the contractor will bear all operational costs during the development of the oil and gas field, and there is a distribution of amounts for the government and publications that are imposed before tax, the components are a base split, variable split, and progressive split. An analysis of the widespread use of the assessment components is necessary. This research will calculate the economics of the Fr field with production calculations starting in 2023. The Fr field is a field that produces oil and gas with a total oil production of 14765 Mbbl and gas of around 1,972,045 Mscf until 2036. The analysis is carried out to determine economic indicators by the calculation results for the acquisition of the Gross Split Production Sharing Contract scheme provide positive benefits for contractors in the Fr field, with a total NPV@10% of 424,010 MUSD with an IRR of 24% and a Pay Out Time of 6 years. By conducting a sensitivity analysis, the parameters that most influence the NPV and IRR in the Fr field are oil and gas production & prices.

Abstract

In month of August, year 2021, there was an alteration in the production-sharing contract for this field. The contract previously used was Production Sharing Contract (PSC) Cost Recovery, which changed to PSC Gross Split. This contract comparison aims to synergetically evaluate the comparison of the two economic models and also to determine a more efficient and appropriate scheme to be applied to field A, as well as to analyze the parameters that can affect the economic indicators of field A. The results of the economic analysis that has been carried out show that the PSC Gross Split scheme is better than the PSC Cost Recovery scheme. For PSC Cost Recovery, the Net Present Value (NPV) obtained for 30 wells is equal to 13,848,000 US$, the average Interest Rate of Return (IRR) is 118%, the average Pay Out Time (POT) is 1.43 years, the Contractor Take is 20,740,000 US$, and the Government Take is 176,587,000 US$. Whereas for PSC Gross Split, the NPV obtained for 30 wells was US$ 37,906,000, the average IRR was 245%, the average POT was 1.30 years, the Contractor Take was US$ 52,544,000, and the Government Take was 136,402,000 US$. The sensitivity analysis that has been carried out shows that the parameters of the amount of oil production and the price of oil have a significant effect on both schemes.

Abstract

Increasing family income in rural areas heavily relies on the active role of housewives. In Cigandeng Village, Menes District, many housewives are engaged in melinjo cracker production but only receive limited daily wages. Waste from the melinjo cracker-making process, such as the shells (inner skin) and outer skin, holds significant potential to be processed into high-value food products. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to empower housewives by increasing family income through the diversification of products based on melinjo waste. The methods employed include participatory training involving experts to develop recipes and production techniques for melinjo waste-based food products. The training outcomes demonstrated improved participant skills in producing various processed products, such as dodol, kembang goyang, lidah kucing, semprong cookies, brownies, and putri salju cookies. These products have started to be commercialized by some training participants, contributing significantly to family income. This program not only encourages product diversification but also reduces waste, creating added value for the community.
