Abstract

Despite MSMEs' crucial role in Indonesia's economy, their utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) remains restricted. This paper investigates the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, providing a comprehensive analysis of the difficulties and potential advantages. AI implementation is essential for these businesses because it may significantly enhance economic growth through improved productivity, cost reduction, and increased competitiveness. Furthermore, AI facilitates the decision-making process and fosters data-based innovation. The study investigates the correlation between competitive pressure, top management commitment, staff adaptability, perceived utility, and simplicity of use in the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. By addressing these gaps, we can enhance our comprehension of how MSMEs can utilize AI adoption as a marketing tool, thereby fostering their growth and success. The results emphasize the significance of top management commitment (TMC), employee adaptability (EA), perceived usefulness (PU), and perceived ease of use (PEOU) in encouraging the adoption of AI among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had significant effects in many aspects, including the world of education. The changes require an adaptation to learning methods used increasing students learning motivation. In higher education, learning methods that are student centered and lecturers only serve to give instructions. Participant-centered learning (PCL) is a learning method that is suitable for use in higher education because collage students are considered participants not just students. The purpose of this research was to analyze the impact of implementing PCL in increasing motivation and learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Siliwangi University with 94 collage students. The data sources used were the results of the pre-test and post-test using the Kahoot! learning platform and questionnaire data using the Materials Motivation Scale (IMMS), from the control and experimental groups. In the experimental class, learning was carried out using the PCL method, while in the control class, learning was carried out conventionally or teacher-centered learning (TCL). The results of the evaluation showed that the PCL class had an average score of 47% higher than the TCL, and students' learning motivation in PCL class is also about 40% higher than students in TCL class. So it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in terms of material understanding and student learning motivation with PCL method. The learning method of PCL can be adopted to be applied in learning in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the economic value of brand equity by analyzing the roles of gamification, perceived price fairness, and service quality, with customer trust as a mediating variable. The research focuses on consumers of Wardah cosmetics on the Shopee e-commerce platform. A quantitative approach was employed using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 385 respondents. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The findings reveal that gamification, perceived price fairness, and service quality each have a positive and significant impact on customer trust. Furthermore, these three variables also directly influence brand equity positively and significantly. Customer trust itself has a significant mediating role in the relationship between the independent variables and brand equity. These results highlight that enhancing the interactive experience, ensuring fair pricing, and improving service quality contribute to building customer trust and, in turn, strengthening the economic value of the brand.
