Abstract

The elderly is a process in life that is characterized by a decrease in one's body function to maintain balance against physiological stress conditions. The decline in health in the elderly is most often caused by non-communicable diseases. One of the non-communicable diseases is metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome is a metabolic disorder that originates from a collection of various diseases such as cardiovascular disease, stroke, central obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, and dyslipidemia which may develop into diabetes. Rosella flowers have the benefit of lowering blood pressure, HbA1c, and other factors that cause metabolic syndrome because they contain organic acids, anthocyanins and flavonoids. The main problem faced by partners is the ignorance of the elderly to prevent complications of cardiovascular disease so that it becomes metabolic syndrome. This limitation causes the eating behavior of the elderly to often pay no attention to the type of food that can increase the risk of hypertension, obesity, and diabetes mellitus. Community service activities are carried out at the Waras Mulyo Posbindu in the Setabelan Health Center work area in October 2022 in Setabelan Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. There were 20 elderly who took part in Posbindu Waras Mulyo. Held from 13.00-14.00. The results of the pretest and posttest were compared to find out if there was an increase in knowledge among the elderly. Based on the comparison results, it was found that 20 elderly people (100%) had increased knowledge. Increased knowledge of the elderly about understanding, risk factors, signs and symptoms, and how to prevent them. Keywords: Elderly; Metabolic Syndrome; Knowledge; Rosella.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik kerajaan majapahit sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah di SMK Negeri 1 Beji dan mengetahui kelayakan komik tersebut dalam pembelajaran sejarah Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu analisis, rancangan desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Ada tiga teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada riset ini yaitu observasi, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi. Data utama yang diperoleh pada riset ini memiliki jenis data kuantitatif sehingga teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif pada riset ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu data validasi dan data uji coba. Data validasi berasal dari penilaian media oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru sejarah. Data uji coba berasal dari penilaian media oleh siswa SMK Negeri 1 Beji. Data validasi dan data uji coba dihitung menggunakan teknik pencarian rata-rata (mean). Berdasarkan data akhir penelitian, ditunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik kerajaan majapahit layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan hasil sebagai berikut: 1) komik kerajaan majapahit berpredikat “baik” dari penilaian ahli materi, 2) komik kerajaan majapahit berpredikat “baik” dari penilaian ahli media, 3) Komik kerajaan majapahit berpredikat “baik” dari penilaian guru sejarah, dan 4) komik kerajaan majapahit berpredikat “sangat baik” dari penilaian para siswa SMK Negeri 1 Beji.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir historis peserta didik di SMK Itaba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode probability sampling digunakan untuk pemilihan sampel secara acak. Problem Based Learning diterapkan dalam kelas eksperimen penggunaan pretest dan posttest. Analisis statistik mencakup validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, autokorelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana, serta uji t. hasil validitas menunjukkan semua butir soal valid karena nilai r hitung > t tabel (0.320) atau nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Instrumen penelitian reliabilitas dinyatakan reliabel dengan nilai Alpha Cronbach (0.684) > 0.6. Uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (0,060) menandakan distribusi data normal. Uji heteroskedastisitas menunjukkan residual homogen dengan nilai signifikansi (0,651) > 0,05. Uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai d hitung (1.809) dengan dU (1.5444) < d hitung (1.809) < 4-dU (2.4556) maka tidak ada korelasi antar residual. Uji analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan nilai (80.074) yang menunjukkan keadaan konstan. Uji t menunjukkan nilai (-1.293) < (2.024), sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, namun karena nilai signifikansi > 0.05 menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir historis peserta didik SMK.

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing the historical, cultural, and economic value of blacksmith activities. The research method used was a literature study (library research). Data collection techniques were carried out through collecting research results that had been carried out and published in reputable indexed journals, Google Scholar, etc. The research results showed that blacksmithing had historical value whose development varied in each region of the world. In Asia, especially Indonesia, the historical development of blacksmithing was estimated to have existed since the 7th century AD. This was based on findings on temple wall reliefs, inscriptions, and ancient manuscripts found as relics from the royal era. Meanwhile, the historical development of blacksmiths in Europe, Africa, and other Asian regions was quite diverse, having developed from 1150-1400 BC. The blacksmiths of Dokdak Village also had cultural values ​​that were very important to be passed on. This was based on data which showed that in blacksmithing activities there were cultural elements, namely the knowledge system, livelihood system, and equipment and technology systems used. Furthermore, Dokdak Village's blacksmith activities had economic value, because the carried-out activities could produce production goods that have economic value. Based on this, it is important to protect and maintain the livelihood of blacksmiths to pass on values ​​to the younger generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)Perencanaan pembelajaran sejarah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada kelas X di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo, (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran sejarah kelas X di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo, (3) Evaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah berdasarkan kurikulum Merdeka kelas X di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan guru dan siswa sejarah, dokumen dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran sejarah dengan kurikulum merdeka mencakup capaian pembelajaran dan alur tujuan pembelajaran dalam modul ajar (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum Merdeka menghasilkan proses pembelajaran sejarah yang efektif sesuai dengan modul ajar dengan metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Discovery Learning. Terdapat moving class yang ditujukan untuk membedakan kelas minat sesuai dengan pilihan masing-masing siswa, (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran sejarah dengan kurikulum merdeka menggunakan assesmen kompetensi awal, formatif dan sumatif. Kendala yang dialami siswa adalah tentang pemahaman pembelajaran moving class. Upaya mengatasinya adalah siswa memilih moving class sesuai dengan minatnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada kelas X di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo berjalan cukup baik.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the process of planning and implementing nationalism values, as well as the obstacles faced in implementing nationalism values in history learning, especially in the material of national movement organizations in class XI MAN Sidoarjo. The research used qualitative methods. The data sources used were observation, interview and documentation. Data were obtained from history teachers, documents, and the implementation of history learning. The results showed that the implementation of the value of nationalism in learning the history of the material of the national movement organization has been implemented according to planning and running well. The value of nationalism that is implemented from the planning and implementation of learning includes discipline, responsibility, religion, respect for the struggle of heroes' services, and love for the country. The obstacles faced by teachers during the learning process are the decline in student behavior, time constraints, lack of learning resources in the form of pictures. The teacher's efforts to overcome the decline in student behavior by instilling morals so that students have a good direction. In addition, the limited time to implement the value of nationalism was overcome by extending it outside of history class hours. Recommendations for future research further explore how the values of nationalism learned in the material of national movement organizations and associated with the local context of Sidoarjo, for example through learning about local figures who have the spirit of struggle or relevant local historical events.

Abstract

This research explores the application of inquiry learning model in history subject at SMK PGRI 2 Sidoarjo to improve critical thinking skills of grade XI students. Using qualitative methods, the research involved observation, interviews and document analysis. The results show that careful planning, educator training and integration of relevant learning resources support the success of this method. Learners became more active, able to ask in-depth questions, and develop arguments based on historical evidence. This study is able to strengthen the literature on the effectiveness of inquiry learning methods and provides practical and theoretical implications for educators. Further research using a wider sample is needed to strengthen these findings.

Abstract

This study examines the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Discovery learning model in teaching the history of the entry of Hindu-Buddhist religions into Indonesia for class X at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach.The data were collected through structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The research was conducted at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong, involving grade X-12 students and history teachers. Data sources included lesson plans (RPP) and classroom documentation. The research followed several stages: pre-fieldwork, fieldwork, data collection, and report writing, with data analysis conducted through Miles & Huberman's four-step method. This study aims to explain the planning and implementation of Discovery learning, describe its implementation, an@gmail@gmail.comd evaluate it in history learning. The findings show that the planning of Discovery learning begins with a situation analysis, followed by the setting of learning objectives and the preparation of lesson plans. The implementation is divided into three phases: introduction, core activities, and closing. Core activities involve stimulating interest, identifying problems, collecting and processing data, verifying findings, and drawing conclusions collaboratively. Despite the objective of learning history to develop critical and logical thinking, students' interest in history remains low due to the perception that the subject is boring the material is too long.Interviews revealed that students find history lessons boring and prefer interactive methods such as games or quizzes. This research suggests that although Discovery learning has potential, its effectiveness depends on student engagement and a variety of teaching methods to sustain interest and achieve educational objectives.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in East Java Province was recorded at 17.7%, where this figure has been below the maximum limit of the WHO stunting prevalence, but still has not reached the Ministry of Health's performance target. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the distribution of stunting cases and their risk factors visually through maps, as well as to identify factors that affect the prevalence of stunting in East Java Province in 2023. This study uses a quantitative research design with cross sectional. The population in this study is districts/cities in East Java Province in 2023, which is 38 districts/cities. The sample in this study is the entire total population. The analysis used was multiple linear mapping and regression, using GeoDa software. The mapping results showed that the highest prevalence of stunting was found in Jember Regency, Lumajang Regency, Probolinggo Regency, and Probolinggo City. The results of the multiple linear regression test showed that the percentage of exclusive breastfeeding in infants < 6 months significantly (p=0.01227) had an effect on reducing the prevalence of stunting. Population density (p=0.09750), number of posyandu (p=0.94130), percentage of households with access to healthy latrines (p=0.76093), and number of villages/sub-districts with 5 STBM pillars (p=0.9414) did not have a significant effect on reducing the prevalence of stunting. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used to develop more effective intervention programs in reducing the prevalence of stunting in East Java Province, such as focusing on exclusive breastfeeding in 1,000 HPK.

Abstract

The Gemini AI-Based Historiography Training was designed as an effort to transform history teaching methods among high school history teachers within the MGMP (Subject Teacher Working Group) in Surabaya. This study employed a qualitative approach with a participatory action research design, involving 25 teachers as training participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and product assessments, then analyzed thematically and using descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of digital historiography concepts (100%), ability to explain the functions of Gemini AI (100%), and interest in attending further training (92%). Participants produced digital learning modules, historiographical narratives, and interactive presentation materials ready for classroom use. In the future, further mentoring and the development of practitioner communities are needed to ensure the sustainability of the program.
