Abstract

This research discusses interesting Natural Sciences (IPA) learning strategies for elementary school students in the digital era. With the development of technology, the use of digital media such as animated videos, learning applications, and 3D simulations has become an effective solution in improving students' understanding of science concepts. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various literature related to the application of technology in science learning. The results of the study show that the integration of digital media can increase students' learning motivation as well as learning effectiveness. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure and teacher readiness are still obstacles in its implementation. Therefore, training for educators and facility support is needed so that the use of digital technology in science learning can run optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the effectiveness of digital learning media in enhancing students' motivation in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level. Utilizing a qualitative approach based on a literature review, this study analyzes various academic references regarding the use of digital technology in the learning process. The findings indicate that digital media, such as educational videos, interactive simulations, and technology-based applications, significantly contribute to increasing student engagement and learning enthusiasm. The success of digital media in education is supported by several key factors, including active student participation, real-time feedback, and the presentation of materials that are more dynamic, diverse, and responsive to individual student needs. Moreover, digital learning approaches allow for a more flexible, engaging learning process that adapts to students’ learning styles. Thus, based on the conducted analysis, it can be concluded that integrating digital technology into IPAS instruction holds great potential as an innovative pedagogical strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of the division concept among third-grade elementary school students. Understanding division is a fundamental component in mathematics learning, serving as a basis for more complex numerical operations in higher grades. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving 5 students from an elementary school in. Data were collected through diagnostic tests, interviews, and observations. The findings revealed that most students still struggle to grasp the concept of division, particularly in understanding it as a grouping process and as repeated subtraction. Factors influencing students' comprehension include limited use of varied teaching methods, insufficient application of concrete learning media, and differences in students' learning styles. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers in designing more effective and contextual learning strategies to enhance students’ understanding of the division concept at the elementary level.
