Abstract

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning medium using a Science Inquiry approach to enhance science literacy among early childhood learners. The study follows the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects included early childhood students and teachers from two preschools in Jember, Indonesia. Research instruments involved observations, questionnaires, and interviews to assess children's understanding, engagement, and motivation, as well as teacher satisfaction and ease of use. Data analysis techniques included both formative and summative evaluations: formative evaluation examined each stage of the ADDIE model, while summative evaluation assessed the AR medium's effectiveness in enhancing science literacy and overall learning experience. Trial results show that the use of AR significantly improves children's understanding of scientific concepts, active engagement, and motivation in learning science. Additionally, both children and teachers rated the AR media as easy to use, with high levels of satisfaction reported by teachers, underscoring the medium’s accessibility and impact. Summative evaluations reveal that the AR medium positively impacts science literacy, with an overall rating of "excellent." Consequently, AR-based media with a Science Inquiry approach shows great promise as an innovative solution for improving science literacy among young children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of strengthening character education based on Pancasila values in addressing the challenges of diversity in Indonesia. The focus is on integrating tolerance and global diversity values into the formation of the Pancasila Student Profile, which aims to enable students to live harmoniously in a multicultural society. Using a case study in Sukowono Village, known as Pancasila Village, this research identified best practices in tolerance-based character education, such as interfaith cooperation and joint celebrations of religious holidays. This qualitative research approach involved participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to explore how Pancasila values, especially tolerance, were implemented in community life and formal education. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The study proposes an effective project-based learning model to internalize tolerance values in education. This model included stages such as introducing the concept of tolerance, field visits to places of worship, interfaith collaborative projects, and experience reflection. The research results showed that this learning model successfully enhanced students' understanding of the importance of tolerance and diversity, shaping more inclusive students who are prepared to face global challenges. These findings are expected to serve as a guide for educators and policymakers in developing curricula that support the character formation of Pancasila Students throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of microlearning-based instructional media in improving the language literacy skills of elementary school students. The microlearning media developed consists of short videos using a chunk-based approach that includes pre-learning, core, and post-learning activities. The study employed the research and development with ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used included surveys, interviews, and observations, while data analysis techniques involved quantitative analysis (pretest and posttest) and qualitative analysis from interviews and observations.  Validation was carried out by media and education experts, followed by revisions based on the feedback provided. The implementation involved 60 fourth and fifth-grade students at elementary schools for Indonesian language lessons. Evaluation results showed an average increase of 34.35% in students' language literacy skills after using the media. Students also gave positive feedback on the clarity and presentation of the materials through the microlearning videos. Based on these results, microlearning media can be considered an effective tool for improving students' language literacy, reading skills, reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary mastery, and sentence construction.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat media sosial, terutama TikTok, telah mengubah cara pemasaran digital melalui viral marketing, yang memungkinkan penyebaran informasi produk secara cepat dan luas. Faktor harga juga menjadi elemen penting dalam keputusan pembelian, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki anggaran terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak viral marketing dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kosmetik melalui TikTok Live di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, melibatkan 99 responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa viral marketing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian; semakin efektif viral marketing, semakin besar kemungkinan mahasiswa untuk melakukan pembelian. Selain itu, harga juga berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, di mana harga yang bersaing meningkatkan daya tarik produk bagi konsumen. Secara keseluruhan, kedua variabel ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi pemasaran yang berbasis konten viral dan penetapan harga yang tepat dapat mendorong keputusan pembelian produk kosmetik melalui TikTok Live. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemasar dan pelaku bisnis perlu mengoptimalkan strategi viral marketing dengan konten yang menarik dan interaktif serta menentukan harga yang sesuai dengan daya beli pasar target.

Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this research is the low level of understanding among Eleventh grade vocational high school students regarding entrepreneurship subjects, which are often perceived as unengaging. To address this problem, the study aims to develop interactive flipbook-based e-comics as learning media to enhance students’ comprehension of entrepreneurial concepts. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach, specifically employing the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Each phase of the model involves a systematic data collection process, including needs analysis, storyboard creation, and prototype development. The resulting e-comic is expected to serve as a practical and effective instructional tool, thereby supporting and enriching the entrepreneurship curriculum in vocational high schools.

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted to improve student learning outcomes in a vocational high school through the integration of H5P-based interactive video within a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The study involved two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In Cycle 1, students engaged with H5P videos containing embedded quizzes and participated in collaborative discussions. However, only 33.33% of students reached the minimum mastery criteria. Based on these results, improvements were made in Cycle 2, including the use of guiding questions and individual accountability strategies. The second cycle showed significant improvement, with 83.33% of students achieving learning mastery. The findings suggest that H5P-based interactive videos effectively enhance engagement, participation, and conceptual understanding among vocational students. The use of interactive video not only supports independent learning and collaboration but also stimulates higher-order thinking skills through visual, auditory, and contextual input. Therefore, integrating H5P interactive media into PBL is a promising approach for improving student performance in vocational education.

Abstract

The rapid integration of social media platforms—particularly TikTok and its e-commerce feature, TikTokShop—has significantly shaped the consumption patterns of university students, fostering both new opportunities and financial challenges. This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of TikTokShop usage and financial management ability on the consumptive behavior of first-year students at Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 95 purposively selected students using validated questionnaires, with analysis conducted via multiple linear regression. The results indicate that while financial management ability has a significant positive effect on consumptive behavior (p < 0.05), TikTokShop usage does not have a significant direct impact. Nonetheless, when combined, both variables account for nearly 70% of the variance in consumptive behavior, underscoring the crucial moderating role of financial management skills in the digital consumption context. The findings highlight that developing financial competence is more effective in promoting responsible spending than merely limiting digital platform use. This research contributes to the literature by isolating TikTokShop as a unique influence and emphasizing applied financial skills over general literacy. The study's practical value lies in its recommendations for higher education to integrate targeted financial management programs within curricula. Future research should examine additional moderating variables such as peer influence and socioeconomic status, and extend the analysis to diverse institutional and demographic contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul digital interaktif berbasis flipbook pada mata pelajaran komunikasi bisnis bagi siswa kelas X program keahlian bisnis digital di SMK. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual, menarik, dan relevan dengan perkembangan dunia usaha serta karakteristik peserta didik abad ke-21. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Modul dikembangkan menggunakan perangkat lunak Canva dan Flipbook Maker, serta memuat elemen interaktif seperti video, kuis, dan tautan eksternal. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru menunjukkan bahwa modul berada dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 88%. Uji coba terbatas kepada siswa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan flipbook interaktif mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi komunikasi bisnis. Modul ini juga dinilai adaptif terhadap kebutuhan siswa digital native, serta efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih mandiri, kolaboratif, dan bermakna. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran vokasional dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kualitas dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial telah mengubah cara berpikir dan berperilaku generasi muda, termasuk mahasiswa. Media sosial kini berperan tidak hanya sebagai alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk memperoleh informasi bisnis dan membangun jejaring. Di sisi lain, pengetahuan kewirausahaan menjadi bekal penting bagi mahasiswa untuk memulai usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatori. Sampel berjumlah 92 mahasiswa dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 49,1%. Implikasi penelitian ini mendorong kampus untuk memperkuat kurikulum kewirausahaan dengan pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial untuk bisnis serta menyediakan fasilitas inkubasi bisnis yang menunjang kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan kewirausahaan di era digital.
