Abstract

Background: The highest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding data from Bengkulu City Health Office was Nusa Indah Public Health Center (86.9%) and the lowest was Lingkar Barat Public Health Center (63.8%).Objective: The research objective is to determine the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding programs seen from the input, process, output in the city of Bengkulu in 2018.Methods: This was an observational analytic study with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of nutrition workers, midwives, health promotor, heads of Public helath center and mothers who participated in the exclusive breastfeeding program at the puskesmas. This research was carried out in both Bengkulu City Health Center, starting from July to August 2019. Data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification.Results: The study showed that the executors of the exclusive ASI program consisted of nutrition workers, midwives and promkes, using BOK funds, material on exclusive breastfeeding, tools in the form of infant pantom, breast pantom, breast milk, with counseling, counseling and IMD methods. The implementation process is Exclusive ASI socialization, formation and guidance of ASI Suport group. Implementation with counseling, and counseling. Control by looking at data obtained from posyandu.Conclusion: The Nusa Indah Puskesmas has been successful because the ASI support group has played an active role in assisting the implementation of the Exclusive ASI program, while the West Lingkar Puskesmas was not successful because the officers did indeed obtain real data in the field.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19  yang menyerang dunia telah membawa banyak perubahan di masyarakat termasuk anak-anak yang merupakan kelompok rentang tertular virus ini. Berbagai bentuk pencegahan telah dilakukan yakni dengan terus menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Masih rendahnya pemahaman dan kesadaran anak akan bahaya dan pencegahnnya, membuat mereka seolah mengabaikan penerapan protokol kesehatan termasuk saat di sekolah sehingga membuat penyelenggaran pendidikan merasa kewalahan dalam melakukan pengawasan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan anak usia dini untuk tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan dalam mencegah Covid-19 di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Integral Darul Fikri dengan metode sosialisai langsung dan demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak memahami bagaimana cara mencegah tertular Covid-19, mampu memakai masker serta mencuci tangan dengan benar. Pihak sekolah maupun orang tua diharapkan tetap melakukan pengawasan dan mengingatkan anak dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan dan pembiasaan pola hidup baru.Kata kunci: Anak, Covid-19, Edukasi

Abstract

Background of Study: Th increasing number of hospitals has made the people to free choose services that match their expectations. The number of patient visits at the Outpatient Polyclinic of Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Pattern Bengkulu has decreased from 2016 to 2019. The decision to visit the community is influenced by how they perceive the stimuli they receive in the marketing mix consisting of Product, Price, Promotion and Place. This study aims to determine the relationship between client perceptions of the marketing mix with the decision to choose polyclinic services at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III, Bengkulu City Police.Methods: The research design was cross-sectional. The number of samples were 92 clients who used outpatient poly services taken by accidental sampling technique. The research was held from July to August 2019. The data analysis technique used Chi Square.Results: The results showed that 55.4% of respondents had a good perception of the hospital's marketing mix and 62% of respondents made the decision to re-elect outpatient polyclinic services. Bivariate analysis showed p value = 0.001 which means that there was a relationship between the client’s perception of the marketing mix on the decision to choose an outpatient polyclinic service at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Bengkulu Police.Conclusion: There is relationship between the client’s perception of the marketing mix on the decision to choose an outpatient hospital polyclinic.Keywords : Marketing Mix, Decision, Election, Polyclinic

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency. This research method is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study approach. The results showed that the factors that influence early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency include knowledge (p = 0.000), attitude (p = 0.004), parents' income (p = 0.001), exposure to information media (p = 0.901), the influence of peers (p = 0.569), the role of parents (p = 0.000), the number of family members (p = 0.039), while the factor that did not affect early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency was exposure to information media (p = 0.901), peer influence (p = 0.569), and culture (p = 0.104). In conclusion, there is an influence between knowledge, attitudes, parents' income, parents' role, and family members in early marriage. Meanwhile, what did not affect early marriage was exposure to information media, peer influence, culture. Keywords: Marriage, Early Age

Abstract

This study aims to develop health promotion media for COVID-19 prevention posters at the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. The research method used in this research is Research & Development using the Bogh & Gall research model. The results of the design validation research for material experts get a feasibility percentage of 75% in the very feasible eligibility category, media experts get a feasibility percentage of 77% in the very feasible feasibility category, and linguists get a feasibility percentage of 75% in the very feasible type. The results of the small group product trials obtained a feasibility percentage of 87.81% with the very feasible feasibility category. This research is limited to developing COVID-19 prevention poster media and is only carried out until the product trial stage. In conclusion, a health promotion media poster for COVID-19 prevention was produced at the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu using Canva with product testing on small groups, obtaining an 87% qualification with very qualified eligibility criteria. Abstract

Background: The highest spread of Covid-19 cases in 9 sub-districts in Bengkulu City was Gading Cempaka District, with 86 positive cases, 46 recovered, and 3 died. People do not comply with health and personal hygiene protocols such as washing hands and using masks, do not behave in a healthy life, and lack public awareness in maintaining environmental cleanliness. In addition, the community still litters in several places and lacks knowledge and understanding of clean water and household waste management properly. This study aimed to determine the relationship between public environmental health knowledge and Covid-19 prevention behavior in the Working Area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center, Bengkulu City. Method: The design used in this research is quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. This research took place in the area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center, Bengkulu City. This research was conducted in January – February 2021. The population was 15,726 people; a sample of 40 people was taken from the minimum sample calculation using a simple random sampling technique. The process of collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Results: The results showed that respondents with good knowledge were 21 people (55%) and 19 people (45%). There is a significant relationship between environmental health knowledge and community behavior toward preventing Covid-19 in the Jalan Gedang Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. The results showed p-value (0.001) > 0.05, OR = 7.500 with 95% CI (1.798-31.283). This means that knowledgeable respondents are 7.5 times less likely to behave less well in preventing Covid-19 compared to well-informed respondents. Conclusion: Environmental health knowledge has a significant relationship with Covid-19 prevention behavior. Researchers advise the public to always maintain a clean environment and live a healthy life to avoid the transmission of the Covid-19 disease.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Standar mutu air minum ditetapkan berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No. 907/MENKES/SK/VII/2002. Data Puskesmas Teluk Segara tahun 2020,Terdapat 23 Depot Air Minum Isi Ulang, 2 Depot Air Minum tidak memenuhi SyaratMetode : Jenis rancangan penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi seluruh depot air minum yang berada di Kecamatan Teluk Segara Kota Bengkulu yaitu 23 depot air minum. Analisis data univariat, distribusi frekuensi dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square.Hasil : menunjukan higiene sanitasi depot air minum di Kecamatan Teluk Segara 13 depot (56,52%) memenuhi syarat kelaikan fisik, 10 depot  (43,48%) tidak memenuhi persyaratan kelaikan fisik.Hasil uji laboraturium untuk bakteriologis air minum 2 depot (8,7%) memenuhi syarat jumlah bakteriologis, 21 depot (91,3%) tidak memenuhi syarat jumlah bakteriologis. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,486 dengan tingkat kesalahan (α) 0,05 artinya tidak ada hubungan higiene sanitasi dengan kualitas bakteriologi depot air minum di Kecamatan Teluk Segara.Simpulan : Tidak ada keterkaitan diantara Hygiene sanitasi dengan mutu Bakteriologi Depot Air Minum di Kecamatan Teluk Segara ( p Value 0,486 > 0,05) pada 23 sampel yang dianalisisKata Kunci : Bakteriologis,DAMIU, Higiene Sanitasi

Abstract

Sanitation clinics are created to improve the health status of the community through promotive, preventive, and curative efforts that are carried out in an integrated, focused and continuous manner. This study aims to see the implementation of a sanitation clinic at Jalan Gedang Health Center. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that describes the state of the object under study. The data collection used is by interview and observation with interview guidelines and observation sheets. Informants in this study were sanitarian officers, poly officers, head of RT, community, head of Jalan Gedang Public Health Center. This research was conducted on August 10 s.d. August 20, 2022 in the Working Area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center, Bengkulu City. The results of the research in the Working Area of ​​Jalan Gedang Health Center showed that there were 2 activities that had been going well and in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 13 of 2015, namely there had been counseling activities carried out by the Puskesmas in order to solve health problems due to the environment and the Puskesmas had several field review programs. namely IKL SAB, TTU Sanitation, Healthy Homes, and Drinking Water Depot Sanitation. There is 1 sanitation clinic activity at the Puskesmas that is not appropriate, namely intervention activities in the community which are only carried out if a case has occurred in the community. The conclusion of this study is that Jalan Gedang Health Center has several programs that function in preventing environmental-based diseases. However, intervention programs in the community must be implemented better before environmental-based disease cases arise.

Abstract

Desa Tebing Penyamun merupakan sebuah Desa yang berbatasan dengan Desa Talang Karet dibagian Barat dan bagian Timur berbatasan dengan Desa Peraduan Binjai. Di Desa Tebing Penyamun ini memliki beberapa sarana-prasarana, salah satunya yaitu Balai Desa yang digunakan untuk pertemuan atau kegiatan sosialisasi. Mayoritas masyarakat desa Tebing Penyamun bekerja sebagai petani, banyak masyarakat yang masih bercocok tanam pada tumbuhan yang mengandung khasiat obat. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman maka masyarakat tidak hanya mengkonsumsi obat tradisional yang dapat mereka racik sendiri tetapi juga dibeli dalam bentuk kemasan. Kebanyakan masyarakat Desa Tebing Penyamun membeli obat radisional bentuk kemasan tetapi belum memperhatikan standar kesehatan yang telah ditetapkan oleh BPOM, selain itu mereka juga sudah menggunakan HandPhone tetap belum pandai dalam menggunakan bahkan belum mengetahui adanya aplikasi BPOM Mobile untuk mengecek apakah produk obat yang mereka beli sudah terstandarisasikan. Di Desa Tebing Penyamun ini akhirnya dilakukan Sosialisasi (KIE) cara pemilihan dan penggunaan obat tradisional yang aman. Dari hasil sosialisasi tersebut masyarakat diberikan pengetahuan bagaimana cara memilih produk obat kemasan yaitu dengan Cek KLIK (Cek kemasan, cek label, cek izin edar, cek kadaluwarsa), dijelaskan juga aplikasi BPOM Mobile untuk mengecek standar obat tradisional. Abstract

Masyarakat pesisir pada umumnya telah menjadi bagian masyarakat yang pluraristik tapi masih tetap memiliki jiwa kebersamaan. Artinya bahwa struktur masyarakat pesisir ratarata merupakan gabungan karakteristik masyarakat perkotaan dan pedesaan. Hal menarik adalah bahwa bagi masyarakat pesisir, hidup di dekat pantai merupakan hal yang paling diinginkan untuk dilakukan mengingat segenap aspek kemudahan dapat mereka peroleh dalam berbagai aktivitas kesehariannya. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan antara masa kehidupan anak-anak dan masa kehidupan orang dewasa yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan biologis dan psikologis. Secara biologis ditandai dengan tumbuh dan berkembangnya seks primer dan seks sekunder sedangkan secara psikologis ditandai dengan sikap dan perasaan, keinginan dan emosi yang labil atau tidak menentu. Masa remaja merupakan masa fungsi organ reproduksi dan sistem hormonal mulai bekerja, secara alamiah remaja menjadi sangat ingin tahu tentang seks. Keingintahuan remaja biasanya disalurkan lewat perbincangan dengan teman sebaya, mencari informasi dari sumber-sumber pornografi, dan lalu mempraktekkan dengan diri sendiri, pacar, teman, atau orang lain. Pada survey yang dilaksanakan tim ke SMK Negeri 07 Kota Bengkulu, yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 November 2022, diketahui dari hasil wawancara dengan salah satu guru yang mengejar di SKM Negeri 07 Kota Bengkulu, siswa/i yang bersekolah di SMK 07 Negeri Kota Bengkulu memang banyak yang berasal dari masyarakat pesisir pantai, sehingga tim memutuskan melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan di SKM 07 Negeri Kota Bengkulu dengan pertimbangan pada sekolah tersebut ada beberapa kasus anak yang putus sekolah yang didukung banyak faktor seperti, pernikahan, kenakalan remaja dan masih banyak lagi. Sehingga tema yang akan kami sampaikan pada saat penyuluhan berkaitan guna untuk memenuhi tugas mata kuliah kesehatan masyarakat pesisir.
