Abstract

ENGLISHStress on maternal can inhibit breastmilk production so that it disrupts lactation. Stress occurs in the first month after birth delivery as the adaptation of new roles. This condition causes mother give up on breastfeeding early and it affects the sustainibility of exclusive breastfeeding as ideal nutrition for infant. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between stress levels of breastfeeding mothers and behavior of giving the breast milk in the first month. This study used a cross sectional approach which was carried out in the working area of Community Health Center of Tayu I. The sampling technique was  purposive sampling. The results showed that breastfeeding mothers who suffered from stress in the first month were as many as 42.5%, consisting of 25% mild stress, 15% moderate stress and 2.5% severe stress. Breastfeeding in the first month was as many as 75%, carried out by mothers not sufferring stress and those suffering mild and moderate stress. The results of chi square analysis obtained ρ 0.041 which means that there was a correlation between stress levels of breastfeeding mothers in the first month. The Odds Ratio (OR) was as many as 9,33 (95% Cl= 1,38,63,20) which means that mothers who suffered from moderate-high level of stress had as many as 9,33 times of possibility not to breastfeeding in the first month. Breastfeeding mothers who did not suffer from stress and suffer mild level of stress were more likely to keep breastfeeding in the first month. INDONESIAStres pada ibu dapat menghambat pengeluaran ASI. Stres sering dialami pada bulan pertama setelah persalinan sebagai adaptasi menjalankan peran baru. Keadaan tersebut dapat membuat ibu berhenti menyusui lebih awal yang berpengaruh pada keberlangsungan pemberian ASI Eksklusif sementara ASI adalah nutrisi terbaik bagi bayi. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat stres ibu menyusui dengan pemberian ASI pada bulan pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tayu I. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara  sampling purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ibu menyusui pada bulan pertama yang mengalami stres sebanyak 42,5%; terdiri stres ringan 25%; stres sedang 15%; dan stres berat 2,5%. Pemberian ASI pada bulan pertama sebesar 75%, dilakukan oleh ibu yang tidak mengalami stres maupun ibu yang mengalami stres ringan dan sedang. Berdasarkan analisis chi square didapatkan ρ 0,041; yang berarti ada hubungan tingkat stres ibu menyusui dengan pemberian ASI pada bulan pertama. Odds Ratio (OR) sebesar 9,33 (95% CI=1,38, 63,20) yang berarti ibu dengan tingkat stres sedang-berat mempunyai kemungkinan 9,33 lebih besar untuk tidak memberikan ASI pada bulan pertama. Ibu menyusui yang tidak mengalami stres atau mengalami stres dalam fase ringan mempunyai kemungkinan lebih besar untuk tetap melakukan pemberian ASI pada bulan pertama.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic forced restrictions on social, economic, religious activities including college activities. The closure of several public facilities, sports arenas, shops and lectures conducted online has an impact on Palangka Raya University (UPR) students. The study aims to analyze the changes in learning, social and health of UPR students. This study was quantitative research and used cross-sectional design. Samples were FKIP UPR students that were selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected using online questionnaire. The impact of the covid-19 pandemi for students in college activities is the adjustment of online methode, because some areas are constrained by internet signal. Social communication is increasing in cyberspace, as a result of cant meet directly. Students become more concerned about health behavior, which is mostly applied is washing hands. Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on learning behavior, social and health, but from the constraints experienced, students become more adaptive to identify technologies that can support learning, increasing social relations and application of healthy lifestyles. The conclusion is pandemic has a negative impact on learning which is related to unstable signal, but there is also positive impact, which is improving skills related to using technology, social communication and health behavior.

Abstract

Backgrounds: Indonesia is part of the contributing countries of maternal mortality (8800, 3%) (WHO, 2014). Indonesia cannot reach the Millennium Development Goal target by 2015 while the utilization of maternal health services in Tlogowungu is low compared to other regions. The objective of this research is tantamount the influence of mother's perception about self-health and health status toward sustainable utilization of maternal health services. Method: Quantitative research type, cross sectional design, postpartum mothers in districts Tlogowungu Pati Regency as many as 140 people. Statistical analysis using logistic regression. Results: Utilization of sustainable maternal health services by 15%. Respondents mostly used the services of pregnancy (K1 = 87.9%, K4 = 83.6%) and delivery of 99.3% but dropped out during the puerperium (16.4%). Conclusion: There is a significant effect of perception on personal health and health status on the sustainable utilization of maternal health services. Dissemination of information on sustainable utilization of maternal health services needs to be improved as well as partnering with educational institutions in the improvement of sustainable services.

Abstract

The success of becoming a national athlete cannot be separated from various aspects which influence it, they are internal aspects, coaching and training, social environment, family, education, sociocultural, and other factors. The purpose of this research is to identify the national athlete profiles from their socioeconomic and educational aspects. This research was categorized into descriptive qualitative research involving eight participants from national athletes in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. The results of the study showed that the social attitude of the athlete's achievements was due to their disciplines, high willpower, determination to win, self-confidence, fighting, hard work, perseverance, patience, and prayer. In addition, based on the economic aspects, the athletes have the opportunity to become civil servants; get some money, land lots, and a house; be more convenient to choose a school; and have the opportunity to go Hajj and travel abroad. The research also showed that most of them are high school graduates, some are still in college and some of them are college graduates. As national athletes, they must be able to manage the time between training and studying, especially when they are taking part in training camps and matches.

Abstract

Introduction: As a social phenomenon in society, especially in schools, the emergence of a moral decline experienced by society is a sign of the decline and destruction of the nation. On the other hand, morality is an important factor for the development of the identity and character of a nation's society, so the participation of the school community is needed in reducing this decline. Purpose: To describe the social impact of organizing extracurricular sports at SMPN 1 Palangka Raya. Methods: This research is also descriptive qualitative research, with subjects and informants being sports teachers as coaches of sports extracurriculars and students' parents, as well as the principal of SMPN 1 Palangka Raya. While the sports of choice for students participating in extracurricular sports are 15 table tennis, 84 basketball, 34 karate, 68 badminton, 67 football, 39 martial arts, 29 volleyball, and 16 chess, Results: The results of this study prove that there are social impacts, both positive and negative. Positive impacts, namely (1) can build student character, including being able to develop an attitude of cooperation, hard work, responsibility, discipline, enthusiasm, helping each other, and getting along with fellow students despite different ethnicities, races, religions, and even cultures; (2) can channel students' sports interests and talents; (3) can build a school's "branding" image by winning various sports competitions; and (4) can increase business income and school canteens. While the negative impacts are (1) that some students still have an attitude of individualism and self-assertion and are shy to ask; (2) that parts of the school environment, parks, and sports facilities are sometimes damaged; and (3) that parents need to add to the cost of children's needs when participating in extracurricular sports activities themselves, Conclusions: The activities of organizing extracurricular sports at SMPN 1 Palangka Raya have social impacts, both positive impacts in the form of building student character, channeling interests and talents in sports, building the school's image, and increasing business income, as well as negative impacts, namely individualism, self-assertiveness, embarrassment to ask questions, damage to school facilities, and increased costs.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat komposisi tubuh pelajar yang ada diwilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS). Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Desain yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan crossectional. Variabel yang diteliti adalah body composition remaja di DAS Sabangau. Penelitian akan dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2022. Subyek yang diteliti adalah Siswa SMA di DAS Kecamatan Sabangau, Kota Palangka Raya. Alat yang digunakan adalah statur meter dan xiaomi composition scale 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Analisis dilakukan secara kuantitatif, menggunakan analisa univariat untuk mengetahui hasil pengukuran berdasarkan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian bahwa dari 21 siswa terdapat 4,7% siswa memiliki indeks massa tubuh (IMT) sangat tinggi, 9,5% siswa memiliki IMT tinggi, 61,9% memiliki IMT normal, dan 23,8% memiliki IMT rendah. Nilai rata-rata indeks massa tubuh (IMT) siswa SMAN 8 Palangka Raya adalah 20,9 dengan kategori normal. 21 siswa terdapat 62% siswa memiliki nilai baik sekali, 14% memiliki nilai normal dan 24% memiliki nilai tidak mencukupi. Nilai rata-rata massa otot siswa yaitu 44,4 dengan kategori tidak mencukupi. 21 siswa terdapat 66,7% memiliki nilai dengan kategori normal dan 33,3% memiliki nilai dengan kategori tidak mencukupi. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada pengukuran kepadatan tulang adalah 2,4 dengan kategori normal. 21 siswa terdapat 14,2% siswa memiliki nilai dengan kategori tinggi, 9,52% memiliki nilai dengan kategori normal, 42,8% memiliki nilai dengan kategori rendah, dan 33,3% siswa memiliki nilai dengan kategori sangat rendah. nilai rata-rata lemak tubuh siswa SMAN 8 Palangka Raya adalah 18,9 dengan kategori Normal. 21 siswa terdapat 14,2% memiliki nilai dengan kategori baik sekali, 71,4% memiliki nilai dengan kategori normal, dan 14,2% memiliki nilai dengan kategori tidak mencukupi. Nilai rata-rata pengukuran air tubuh siswa SMAN 8 Palangka Raya adalah 56,6 dengan kategori normal. 21 siswa terdapat 85% siswa yang memiliki nilai dengan kategori target tercapai dan 14,2% siswa yang memiliki nilai dengan kategori target tidak tercapai. 21 siswa terdapat 14,2% memiliki nilai dengan kategori kekar (gemuk), 47,6% siswa memiliki nilai dengan kategori seimbang (ideal), dan 38% memiliki dengan kategori kurus. Kata Kunci: Berat badan, Gizi, Profil

Abstract

Background: Physical fitness is a person's ability to carry out daily activities without experiencing significant fatigue and still have energy reserves for other activities. In Indonesia, 40% of children skip breakfast. Skipping breakfast can affect the decrease in physical activity. This lack of physical activity has an impact on decreasing physical fitness, so that a person will be more easily tired and less optimal in carrying out daily activities. Methods: This study discusses the relationship of breakfast habits to physical fitness in students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Banteng, this research method is quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional approach, the sample amounted to 69 people taken using simple random sampling. Results: The results of the study used the chi square test and found that there was a relationship between breakfast habits on the physical fitness of students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Banteng (p = 0.035 < 0.05) Conclusions: Breakfast and physical freshness are both very important and support each other's benefits. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the child's breakfast before activities

Abstract

Siswa SMA sebagai remaja memiliki sifat akrab dengan teknologi justru mengalami dampak negatif dari teknologi yaitu kurangnya aktivitas fisik serta pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi dan istirahat, sementara mereka memiliki peran sebagai agen perubahan. Metode pemecahan dilakukan melalui program ZITASI Generasi Z melalui Aplikasi Fatsecret pada Siswa SMA sebagai Agen Perubahan di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Sabangau. Program ini memberikan edukasi tentang perilaku hidup sehat dan memanfaatkan aplikasi fatsecret kemudian mengajak peserta untuk menyebarluaskan praktik baiknya. Aplikasi tersebut digunakan untuk mencatat dan memantau capaian perilaku hidup sehat yang telah dilakukan. Program dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Palangka Raya, dimulai dari edukasi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Pendampingan dilakukan dalam rangka penerapan perilaku hidup sehat melalui program ZITASI dilanjutkan dengan peran remaja sebagai agen perubahan. Hasil pengabdian peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang perilaku hidup sehat sebesar 15,8 dan penerapan perilaku hidup sehat sebesar 4.2. Peran remaja sebagai agen perubahan dilakukan dengan menceritakan pengalaman mereka kepada teman dan orang di sekitar dan melalui media sosial. Pemanfaatan media sosial hanya sebagian oleh peserta karena keterbatasan kepemilikan gawai dan kualitas koneksi internet di lokasi.Kata kunci: Aktivitas Fisik; Gizi; Remaja

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak secara menyeluruh termasuk ketersediaan pangan. Ketersediaan pangan berpengaruh dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi. Konsumsi gizi seimbang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh, menjaga tubuh tetap produktif, menurunkan resiko terjangkitnya penyakit infeksi termasuk covid-19. Kebutuhan gizi seimbang dapat dipenuhi dengan memanfaatkan bahan makanan di sekitar. Namun disisi lain karena kurangnya pemahaman dan kondisi lain, asupan gizi seimbang kurang terpenuhi di lingkungan PJKR FKIP UPR. Tujuan kegiatan adalah peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang di masa pandemi untuk meningkatkan imunitas. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah edukasi online tentang menjaga kesehatan di masa pandemi covid-19 melalui gizi seimbang. Metode kegiatan adalah memberikan edukasi tentang secara online pada bagi Mahasiswa PJKR FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Peserta memperoleh informasi tentang perilaku yang mendukung peningkatan daya tahan tubuh, menjaga gizi makanan dan keamanan pangan, peningkatan daya tahan tubuh dari asupan makanan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan peserta secara aktif dalam diskusi dan quiz tentang gizi seimbang di masa pandemi. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang. Peningkatan pengetahuan diharapkan dapat dipraktikkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari sehingga mampu menjaga kesehatan di masa pandemi dengan meningkatkan imunitas melalui gizi seimbang.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memberikan dampak terhadap penurunan aktivitas. Generasi Z yang memiliki karakter akrab dengan teknologi dan memiliki kecenderungan lebih nyaman bermain ponsel dari pada melakukan aktivitas fisik di lapangan. Hal tersebut membuat gaya hidup menjadi sedenter yang cenderung malas melakukan ktivitas fisik. Sementara kurangnya aktivitas fisik berdampak pada penurunan kesehatan. Tujuan kegiatan adalah peningkatan pengetahuan pola hidup sehat (gizi, aktivitas fisik dan istirahat) serta praktiknya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah program zitasi generasi z melalui aplikasi fatsecret. ZITASI merupakan program yang dirancang terkait penerapan hidup sehat meliputi gizi seimbang, aktivitas fisik dan istirahat. Metode kegiatan adalah memberikan edukasi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Peserta memperoleh informasi tentang gizi dan aktivitas fisik. Kegiatan praktik dipantau selama kegiatan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan program. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang hidup sehat serta penerapan yang menyenangkan karena melibatkan teknolog, menunjukkan bahwa teknologi dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan positif dan bermanfaat bagi kesehatan.
