Abstract

Sexual abuse of children is one of the serious problems faced by the current government because it is related to the government's efforts to implement Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. On the other hand, children who are victims of sexual abuse are part of society that has not yet developed both physically and psychologically so they need special companions in their handling. The problems in this study are focused on how to form law enforcement and legal protection for childrens victims of sexual abuse in Padang City. The purpose of this study is to find out how law enforcement efforts and legal protection against the crime of sexual abuse of children are made. Therefore, this type of research is normative legal research because this study discusses decision No.30/PID. SUS-ANAK/2021/PN PDG. Based on the results of the discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that in the decision there are still shortcomings in ensuring the recovery and rehabilitation of children as a whole. In addition, the ruling does not appear to have fully considered the long-term impact that children may experience, as well as the lack of a comprehensive approach to protecting children's rights in accordance with the principle of best interests of the child. The less comprehensive approach and limited education and mentoring programs for children show that the legal protection provided is still not optimal. This process includes complaints, investigations by the police, investigations by prosecutors, trials in special children's courts, and protection during legal proceedings and after court decisions. This effort aims to ensure that victims get the justice and protection they deserve.

Abstract

Electronic trading (PMSE) facilitates transactions, both nationally and internationally. This study aims to examine PMSE regulations within the scope of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and their impact on consumers in Indonesia. This study employs a normative legal method with a descriptive-prescriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through literature review, while data analysis was performed descriptively. The results of the study reveal that PMSE regulations in ASEAN are governed by the ASEAN Blueprint, the ASEAN Charter, and the ASEAN Agreement on E-Commerce (AAEC). The AAEC consists of 19 articles, covering various aspects such as cooperation mechanisms and scope, facilitation of cross-border electronic commerce, cybersecurity, digital payment systems, logistics, transparency, dispute resolution, and agreement implementation. These regulations aim to strengthen cross-border trade in ASEAN, create a business environment that supports Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and strengthen cooperation among member countries to accelerate inclusive economic growth and reduce disparities in the region. Regarding the impact of the ASEAN trade agreement on Indonesian consumers following the implementation of Law No. 4 of 2021, it was found that there are still other national regulations governing e-commerce, including the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (EIT Law), the Trade Law, and Government Regulation No. 82 of 2012 on the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya penguatan pemahaman siswa SMA terhadap materi pancasila dalam kajian sejarah bangsa. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kebangsaan dan pemahaman konstitusional generasi muda agar mereka mampu menempatkan diri sebagai warga negara yang berkeadaban. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi bersama. Kegiatan dilakukan di SMKN 8 PADANG dengan peserta sebanyak 40siswa kelas XI. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap hubungan antara Pancasila, UUD 1945, dan struktur kelembagaan negara. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan mampu mengaitkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan persoalan sosial di lingkungan mereka.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya penguatan pemahaman siswa SMA terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam konteks ketatanegaraan Republik Indonesia. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kebangsaan dan pemahaman konstitusional generasi muda agar mereka mampu menempatkan diri sebagai warga negara yang berkeadaban. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi bersama. Kegiatan dilakukan di SMA PGRI 2 Padang dengan peserta sebanyak 22 siswa kelas XI. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa mengenai hubungan antara Pancasila, UUD 1945, dan struktur kelembagaan negara. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan kemampuan dalam menghubungkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan fenomena sosial di lingkungan mereka. Kegiatan berjalan efektif berkat dukungan sekolah, ketersediaan sarana, serta antusiasme peserta. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi kebangsaan siswa dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap karakter, sikap, serta pola pikir mereka.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in several senior high schools in Padang with the aim of increasing students’ awareness and understanding of ethical and responsible social media use to prevent cybercrimes such as hoaxes, hate speech, cyberbullying, defamation, and identity theft. The topic was selected due to the growing number of digital violations involving teenagers and the urgent need for digital literacy education. The method used consisted of interactive socialization sessions supported by pre-test and post-test evaluations, discussions, and educational materials related to digital ethics and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and awareness after the activity. This indicates that educational and participatory approaches are effective in shaping wiser online behavior among students and can serve as a preventive effort against legal problems in the digital environment.
