Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that poses serious threat to population health worldwide. Tuberculosis control enterprise becomes more complicated due to increasing number of Multi Drug Resistant Tuberkulosis (MDR-TB) cases. Globally there are approximately 580,000 cases of  MDR-TB, with only 125,000 cases (20%) resolved. Indonesia ranks tenth in the world by the number of MDR-TB cases after Angola, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Cina, Korea, Kongo, Etiopia, and India. This study aimed to analyzed the bio-psychosocial determinants of MDR-TB in Surakarta.Subjects and Method: This was an analytic observational study with case control design. The study was conducted in Dr. Moewardi Hospital and BBKPM, Surakarta, from September to November 2017. A sample consisting of 76 MDR-TB patients and 228 non MDR-TB patients were selected for this study by fixed disease sampling. The dependent variable was MDR-TB. The independent variables were age, drug-taking adherence, depression, comorbidity, drug side-effect, drug-taking supervisor, and family income. The data were collected using a set of questionnaire and analyzed by path analysis.Results: MDR-TB was affected by lack of drug-taking adherence (b= -1.7; 95% CI= -2.23 to -1.07; p=0.001) and comorbidity (b= 1.5; 95% CI= 0.76 to 2.30; p=0.001). Drug-taking adherence was affected by depression (b= -1.7; 95% CI= -2.60 to -0.79; p=0.001), drug side effect (b= -1.5; CI 95%= -2.10 to -0.86; p=0.001), and drug-taking supervisor (b=2.5; 95% CI= 1.84 to 3.06; p=0.001). Comorbidity was affected by age (b= 0.86; 95% CI= 0.12 to 1.61; p= 0.022).Conclusion: MDR-TB is directly affected by lack of drug-taking adherence and comorbidity. MDR-TB is indirectly affected by drug-taking supervisor, depression, and drug side effect.Keyword: bio-psychosocial determinants, MDR-TBCorrespondence: Lina Alfiyani. Abstract

Model biopsikososial digunakan untuk menelaah determinan penyakit berdasarkan pada aspek biologis, psikologis dan sosial suatu penyakit tertentu. Determinan biopsikososial MDR-TB perlu dikaji lebih dalam dengan analsis literatur riview. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk analisis tinjauan pustaka. Menganalisis determinan biopsikososial Multi Drug Resistant Tuberkulosis. Berdasarkan analisis artikel melalui basis data dari PUBMED dan Google Scholar, scient direct, onesearch.id. Tidak ada upaya dari penulis untuk mencari secara spesifik artikel-artikel yang tidak terpublikasi. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “deteminants” and “risk faktor” and ”biopsychosocial” and “MDR-TB”. Berdasarkan analisis data base menggunakan Revman 5.4 mendapatkan artikel yang sesuai sebanyak 12 artikel..

Abstract

Time efficiency and quality of medical care are indicators of the quality of hospital services. Delays in health services are a problem that is the focus of attention in evaluating the quality of hospital services. Forecasting analysis is used as one method to obtain data sources in the evaluation of comprehensive service quality policies to minimize service delays in the event of a surge in patient visits. The design of this research study is retrospective. The research variable is the number of hospital outpatient visits symbolized by Y. The data used is outpatient visit data from 2017 to 2022. Data for the first two years (years 2017 to 2018) were used to build the demand forecast model, while those from the last three years were used to evaluate the model. Outpatient visit data is a time series count data with discrete values. The data analysis method uses time series analysis with the SPSS 22 program. The results of the time series analysis show that the Y value is 14,710,142. It is hoped that it can be the focus of attention so that when there is a surge in cases, service management can minimize long waiting times.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is mostly caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis germs.This disease generally causes signs and symptoms that vary greatly in each sufferer, ranging from asymptomatic to very acute symptoms. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) at Manguharjo Madiun Lung Hospital in 2023. The research design used in this study is Descriptive. The population in this study was all outpatients diagnosed as TB sufferers, this study was conducted at the Manguharjo Lung Hospital in Madiun. Sample selection is done by 'purposive sampling', and meets the 'inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variables in this study used a single variable, namely the characteristics of pulmonary TB patients (gender, age, education, health insurance and occupation). The data collection technique used is primary data taken at the time of research. Based on the characteristic research of tuberculosis patients at Manguharjo Madiun Lung Hospital, it can be concluded that the characteristics seen from the age of the patient and male gender, who are more than 38 years old, higher education, and IRT (Housewife) work are characteristics of patients who come to visit the hospital.Keyword : Characteristics, Tuberculosis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of hospital administration services on the community satisfaction index in hospitals. Several previous studies have shown that the quality of administrative services and health services greatly affects patient satisfaction in hospitals. Therefore, this study focuses on hospital administration services and how it affects the community satisfaction index. The research method used was a survey with questionnaires given to patients in hospitals. The data obtained were then analyzed using regression techniques to determine the effect of administrative service variables on the community satisfaction index. The results showed that hospital administration services had a significant influence on the community satisfaction index in the hospital. This shows that good administrative services can increase patient satisfaction in the hospital. Therefore, hospitals need to pay attention to the quality of their administrative services to increase patient satisfaction and improve the hospital's reputation in the community.Keywords : Effectiveness, Hospital Administration, Community Satisfaction Index

Abstract

The Community Satisfaction Index is the focus of attention because it is a reference in evaluating health service policies on the quality of hospital services. Service quality is a determinant factor of patient safety to reduce the incidence of mortality in hospitals. Crossectional is the research design used. The study was conducted from April to June 2023, the population is all patients in the hospital in 2023, and Simple random side as a sampling technique of 136 research subjects. The research variables are performance, expectations, and the Community Satisfaction Index which consists of nine elements, namely requirements; systems, mechanisms, and procedures; turnaround time; cost; product specification type of service; competence of the executor; executor behavior; handling of complaints, suggestions, and inputs. Data collection using questionnaires that have previously been tested for confirmatory factor analysis. Test questionnaires and analyze research results with gap analysis using Wilcoxon in the STATA program. The test results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that RMSEA values = 0.04, CFI = 0.99, χ2 / df = 1.05, and TLI = 0.99 showed that the model met goodness-of-fit. The gap analysis shows that in the 9 elements of the Community Satisfaction Index, 2 elements are not different, namely the competence of the implementer (z = -1.570, p = 0.116) and the behavior of the implementer (z = -1.414, p = 0.157). It is hoped that the results of the research can be used as material for the evaluation of hospital policies.

Abstract

Menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut sejak dini merupakan faktor penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Pengenalan dan perawatan gigi secara dini menjadi penting mengingat banyak anak dengan tingkat frekuensi karies atau gigi berlubang yang belum tertangani dengan benar. Berdasarkan hasil Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) tahun 2023 masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada penduduk berumur ?3 tahun adalah 56,9% dengan prevalensi terendah di provinsi Bali (46,5%) dan tertinggi di provinsi Sulawesi Barat (68,4%). Ironisnya dari sekian banyak penduduk yang mengalami masalah gigi dan mulut hanya 11,2% yang berobat ke pelayanan kesehatan. Kelompok umur 3-5 tahun masih berada pada indeks DMF-T tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan tingginya masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang terjadi di usia anak- anak. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia sekolah agar mereka dapat mengetahui cara menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan benar. Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Mojosongo I merupakan sekolah dasar inklusi sehingga terdapat siswa disabilitas. Pemberian edukasi kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada para siswa kelas 2 menggunakan media leaflet dan aplikasi pokemon smile. Edukasi tersebut terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan anak tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut dilihat dari peningkatan hasil pretest dan posttest. Para siswa antusias mencoba aplikasi pokemon smile yang membuat mereka lebih semangat untuk praktik menggosok gigi dengan benar.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease with progressively increasing prevalence every year and often leads to complications when not properly managed. Control or success of treatment is influenced by adherence of patients to the treatment process. This study aimed to analyze relationship between medication adherence and fasting glucose levels among DM outpatients. A correlation study was conducted using a cross-sectional approach on a sample of 300 respondents selected by probability sampling technique from the entire population. The instrument used was the MMAS-8 Test (Morisky Scale Medication Adherence Scales-8) and examination of fasting sugar levels. Meanwhile, data analysis was conducted with the Spearman Rho test. The results showed that the highest treatment adherence was in the moderate category by 130 (43.3%) and a decrease in fasting sugar levels was observed among 230 (76.7%) respondents. A significant relationship was found between medication adherence and fasting glucose levels with a p-value = <0.001 and r: -0.597. Based on the results, there was a negative relationship between medication adherence and fasting blood sugar. The higher medication adherence, the better the fasting sugar levels in DM outpatients.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak buruk pada kesehatan masyarakat, khususnya tenaga kesehatan. Petugas kesehatan medis terus-menerus dihadapkan pada situasi yang sangat berisiko. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap kualitas hidup tenaga kesehatan di Surakarta. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kualitas hidup oleh World Health Organization (2004), dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner melalui Google Forms. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga kesehatan yang bertugas selama masa pandemi Covid-19 yang berjumlah 147 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara keseluruhan kualitas hidup tenaga kesehatan termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Sebanyak 50 orang tenaga kesehatan (34,01%) menunjukkan kualitas hidup mereka baik, 54 orang tenaga kesehatan (36,73%) merasa sedang dengan kesehatan mereka, 94 orang tenaga kesehatan (63,94%) kesehatan fisik mereka tergolong sedang, 88 orang tenaga kesehatan (59,86%) menilai kesehatan psikologis mereka sedang, kemudian sebanyak 84 orang tenaga kesehatan (57,14%) menjawab hubungan sosial mereka dalam kategori sedang, dan 94 orang tenaga kesehatan (63,94%) menyatakan lingkungan mereka juga termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Beberapa cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup di masa pandemi yaitu menjaga kesehatan fisik dengan mengontrol pola tidur 6-8 jam, menjaga kesehatan psikologis dengan memberikan afirmasi positif pada diri sendiri, menjalin komunikasi dengan masyarakat sekitar terutama dengan rekan seprofesi agar senantiasa saling memberi semangat, serta menjalin kerja sama yang baik dengan lingkungan sekitar. Hal ini berguna untuk peningkatan, pencegahan, penyembuhan, dan pemulihan.

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu dapat mengacu pada level prima yang dilaksanakan dengan berlandaskan pada dasar pelayanan dan kode etik yang telah ditetapkan. Hal ini akan memunculkan kepuasan bagi setiap pasien. Untuk mengukur mutu pelayanan, ada beberapa acuan antara lain ; tangibles (nyata), reliability (mampu dipercaya), empathy (empati), assurance (penjaminan), and responsiveness (kecepatan bersikap). Studi ini menginvestigasi hubungan antara mutu pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Paru Manguharjo (RS Paru Mangunharjo), Madiun, Jawa Timur. Populasi pada penelitian ini mejuruk pada seluruh pasien rawat jalan. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dari populasi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian : Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 80 responden dan pembahasan mengenai Hubungan Mutu Pelayanan dengan Kepuasan Pasien Rawat Jalan di rumah Sakit Manguharjo Madiun, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan yaitu Ada hubungan antara Reliability, Assurance Tangibles, Empathy, dan Responsiveness dengan Kepuasan pasien rawat jalan di RS  Paru Manguharjo Madiun. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoritis berupa pengembangan mutu pelayanan, khususnya pada lembaga publik yakni rumah sakit. Secara praktis dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam penyusunan kebijakan terkait pelayanan rumah sakit, khususnya untuk kasus jasa rawat jalan.
