Abstract

One of the topics in graph theory that is interesting and developed continuously is metric dimension.  It has some new variation concepts, such as star metric dimension. The order set of Z={z1,z2,…,zn }⊆V(G) called star resolving set of connected graph  G if Z is Star Graph and for every vertex in G has different representation to the set Z. The representation is expressed as the distance d(u,z), it is the shortest path from vertex u to z for every u,z∈V(G). Star basis of a graph is the smallest cardinality of star resolving set. The number of vertex in star basis is called star metric dimension of G which denoted by Sdim(G). The purpose of this article is to determine the characteristic of star metric dimension and the value of star metric dimension of some classes of graphs. The method which is used in this study is library research. Some of the results of this research are complete graph has  Sdim(Kn )=n-1, for n≥3, bipartite graph K(2,n)  has  Sdim (K(2,n) )=n, for n≥3. Besides complete bipartite graph hasn’t star metric dimension or  for m,n≥3 or it can said that  Sdim (K(m,n) )=0. Another graph, that is Fan graph has Sdim (Fn )=2 for 2≤n≤5 and for n≥6 Sdim (Fn )=(2n+3)/5.

Abstract

Mathematical communication ability is the ability of students to use mathematics as a form of communication (the language of mathematics) and student's ability to convey the mathematics they learn as the content of the message to be conveyed. This study aims to describe the Mathematical Communication Skills of High School Students Through an Ethnomatematics-Based Realistic Mathematics Learning Approach on Geometry Transformation Materials. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The selection of subjects used in this study used an interpersonal intelligence questionnaire, which involved all students of class XI IIS 3 State Islamic High School 1 Pasuruan. Based on the interpersonal intelligence questionnaire scores, three subjects were selected with high, medium, and low levels of interpersonal intelligence. Then, these three subjects will examine the student's ability to draw the correct solution, explain the answer systematically, and construct a problem into a mathematical model. The results of this study indicate that the mathematical communication skills of students with high, medium, and low levels of interpersonal intelligence have many differences in problem-solving on the questions given

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis harus ditekankan dalam pembelajaran matematika karena melalui komunikasi siswa dapat mengorganisasikan dan memperkuat pemikiran matematisnya serta menggali ide-ide matematikanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti dan instrumen pendukungnya berupa angket kecerdasan interpersonal, tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga siswa dengan satu siswa memiliki tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi, satu siswa memiliki tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal sedang, dan satu siswa memiliki tingkat kecerdasan interpersonal rendah. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi waktu. Adapun analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis di antara tiga subjek tersebut. Perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis ditemukan pada strategi dalam memahami informasi dalam soal maupun strategi dalam menafsirkan tabel dan diagram.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide provisions to women, especially housewives, through training in the skills of making patchwork dolls. With these skills, it is hoped that women can be empowered by utilizing their existing potential. This community service was carried out in Kelurahan Sekargadung, Kecamatan Purworejo, Kota Pasuruan. The training participants are housewives who live in Kelurahan Sekargadung. The method of this activity consists of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of this training show that: 1) participants have the motivation to take part in the training, this can be seen in the percentage of attendance of  90%. The second benefit of this activity is 2) participants understand that patchwork has a sale value when it is processed and created. This can be seen from the evaluation results regarding the understanding of the manufacturing process, tools and materials for dolls made of patchwork. In addition, 3) participants have the knowledge and skills to make dolls from patchwork and minimize waste from patchwork. Based on this training activity, it can be concluded that making patchwork dolls can be used as one of the activities for empowering women in Kelurahan Sekargadun, Kecamatan Purworejo, Kota Pasuruan.

Abstract

Organ transplantation has become one of the most meaningful solutions in modern medicine. The issue of organ transplantation has given rise to new problems, so it has become one of the most sensitive debates in the medical and religious worlds. The increasing number of patients requiring transplants, organ rejection, post-transplant complications, and the risks that may arise from transplantation have raised questions about the legal and ethical ethics of using this technology. On the other hand, the current development of science and technology in the medical field also triggers various kinds of legal problems, where it is required to be more flexible and applicable in its implementation, not being shackled into a rigid legal system. The ijtihad method used is the istislahi method using the Manhaji approach. The results of this ijtihad confirm that a person may not give or sell organs and/or body tissues to other people because the organs are not proprietary (haqqul milki) for that reason, taking and transplanting organs without any reason justified by syar'i is unlawful.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SD IT BUNAYYA, particularly in the subject of form of substances (IPAS). Conducted through classroom action research (PTK) over three cycles, data was collected via observation and tests. The subjects were fourth-grade students, and success was defined as achieving a class average of at least 7.5. Results showed an average score of 6.4 in cycle I, 6.8 in cycle II, and 8.5 in cycle III, indicating a notable improvement in student learning outcomes. Increased learning activity was also observed. Recommendations include implementing the PBL model in teaching form of substances and fostering students' problem-solving skills through discussion. This research benefits students by enhancing learning outcomes, supports teachers in improving teaching quality, and contributes positively to overall school efforts to enhance student performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengetahuan Kesehatan keselamatan kerja (K3) terhadap bahaya hazard pada siswa karena kondisi lapangan terdapat banyak siswa yang kurang memahami tentang kesehatan keselamatan kerja (K3) yang berpengaruh pada terjadinya potensi bahaya hazard seperti bahaya, fisik, bahaya biologi, bahaya, kimia, bahaya ergonom dan bahaya psikososial maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya Kesehatan keselamatan kerja (K3) dan memberikan edukasi pada siswa tentang potensi bahaya hazard. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan data pustaka, membaca, dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan-bahan penelitian adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman bagi siswa tentang pentingnya kesehatan keselamatan kerja K3 untuk mencegah terjadinya bahaya hazard yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerugian, cedera, penyakit atau kematian seperti bahaya fisik, bahaya kimia, bahaya biologi, bahaya ergonom, bahaya psikologis dan untuk menekan angka probilitas kecelakaan kerja yang beresiko mengakibatkan jumlah angka kecelakaan kerja pada siswa meningkat.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana siswa kelas VIII SMP memecahkan masalah matematika terkait dengan materi pola bilangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan dari penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa dari kelas VIII yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Fokus penelitian adalah proses pemecahan masalah matematika siswa sebanyak empat soal berdasarkan langkah Polya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes tertulis dan metode think aloud. Analisis data melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi terlihat memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana, dan memeriksa kembali jawaban pada semua soal. Siswa dengan kemampuan sedang dapat juga terlihat melakukan keempat langkah pemecahan masalah namun hasilnya tidak sebaik siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi. Berbeda dengan keduanya, siswa dengan kemampuan rendah mampu memahami masalah namun mengalami kesulitan dalam merencanakan strategi pemecahan masalah dan melaksanakan strategi tersebut. Selain itu, siswa berkemampuan rendah cenderung tidak melakukan pemeriksaan ulang Abstract: This research aims to investigate how eighth-grade students solve mathematical problems related to the topic of number patterns. The research method employed is think aloud. Three students with different mathematical achievements (high, mid, low) participated in the study. The research focuses on students’ mathematical problem-solving processes based on Polya stages. Data collection involves written tests (four problems) and the think-aloud method. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the student with high achievements are capable of following the four problem-solving steps by Polya, namely understanding the problem, planning a solution, executing the plan, and reflecting the answers. The student in the mid achievements also can complete the four steps. Different from them, we did not see that the student with low achievement did a reflection to his answers.

Abstract

The academic self-efficacy of Madrasah-Aliyah (MA) students is a description of the form of psychological dynamics of students in self-adjustment in Islamic boarding schools. Academic self-efficacy is defined as an individual's belief in his or her ability to do assignments, to manage his own learning activities, to realize academic expectations, both academic expectations from himself and from others. This study aims to describe the dynamics of academic self-efficacy of MA students in self-adjustment in pesantren. The study uses a case study research design, in the process of collecting data the researcher uses observation, interview and documentation methods. The research uses data analysis techniques that reduce data, present data and draw conclusions or verification. The research was carried out at MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah Kranji Lamongan. The results of the study show that students at MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah Kranji Lamogan who have high self-efficacy tend to be more successful in adjusting to the pesantren environment. They showed the ability to manage their time well, which had an impact on discipline and efficiency in carrying out daily routines. In addition, strong self-efficacy improves their performance, as they carry out each task with seriousness and confidence, which results in optimal results

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran dengan menggunakan SWOT dan Agility untuk meningkatkan penjualan di Toko Awam Swalayan Paciran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 7 (Tujuh) orang informan terdiri dari kepala toko, karyawan dan konsumen atau pembeli. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa toko awam swalayan telah menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif, seperti melalui produk, harga, promosi, dan tempat. Penerapan analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan toko terletak pada kapabilitas dan komunikasi dengan pemasok serta kepercayaan konsumen, sementara kelemahannya adalah evaluasi diri dalam strategi pemasaran. Peluang toko muncul pada hari-hari besar dengan adanya promo dan diskon, sedangkan ancaman dari pesaing dijadikan motivasi untuk perbaikan. Selain itu, analisis Agility menunjukkan bahwa toko mampu beradaptasi cepat terhadap perubahan lingkungan dan responsif terhadap keinginan serta keluhan pelanggan. Kontribusi penelitian ini bagi praktisi bahwa strategi pemasaran SWOT dan Agility telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan Toko Awam Swalayan Paciran. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini mendukung teori strategi pemasaran SWOT dan Agility secara fleksibilitas dan adaptabilitas merupakan kunci dalam merancang strategi pemasaran yang efektif.
