Abstract

General elections (Pemilu) are a strong foundation of democracy, but are often affected by various manipulative tactics used by political actors. This article aims to present a literature review of manipulative tactics that often appear in the context of general elections. We analyze various empirical and theoretical studies that highlight manipulative practices such as duping the masses, spreading fake news, money politics, voter intimidation, and gerrymandering. Through a synthesis of the literature, we identify the factors that drive the use of manipulative tactics and their impact on democratic integrity. Additionally, we explore efforts to address manipulative tactics, including stricter regulations, voter education, and the role of media and civil society in combating practices that undermine democratic processes. This analysis provides a deeper understanding of political dynamics in general elections and their relevance in the context of sustainable democratic development.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the dynamics of Vibrio sp. abundance in the culture media and hepatopancreas organs of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Samples were taken from three pond plots (D7, D8, and D11). Bacterial isolation was carried out using TCBS agar media, both from pond water and shrimp hepatopancreas organs. The results showed that the abundance of Vibrio sp. in the culture media fluctuated during the maintenance period, with a significant increase especially towards the end of maintenance. Meanwhile, Vibrio sp. was also found in hepatopancreas tissue, but its appearance did not always coincide with the spike in the water media. This variation indicates that bacterial infections do not only depend on environmental conditions, but are also influenced by shrimp immunity and pond management. Increased levels of organic matter thought to play a role in supporting the growth of pathogenic bacteria. This study shows the importance of monitoring water quality parameters and overall organ health to prevent bacterial infections. The abundance of Vibrio sp. in the culture media in three pond plots reached D7= 3.49 × 104, D8= 8.69 × 104 and D11= 4.60 × 104 CFU/ml, with the highest peak in plot D8 in the 5th week. In the Hepatopancreas, the abundance of Vibrio sp. reaching D7= 145.6 × 103, D8= 86 × 103 and D11= 103.1 × 103. In the 5th week, the three plots experienced stable values with two dilutions of plot D7= 7.03 × 103, plot D8= 48.9 × 103, and plot D11= 55.8 × 103. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati dinamika kelimpahan Vibrio sp. pada media budidaya dan organ hepatopankreas udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Sampel diambil dari tiga petakan tambak (D7, D8, dan D11). Isolasi bakteri dilakukan menggunakan media TCBS agar, baik dari air tambak maupun organ hepatopankreas udang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan Vibrio sp. di media budidaya mengalami fluktuasi selama masa pemeliharaan, dengan peningkatan signifikan terutama menjelang akhir pemeliharaan. Sementara itu, Vibrio sp. juga ditemukan pada jaringan hepatopankreas, namun kemunculannya tidak selalu bersamaan dengan lonjakan di media air. Variasi ini menunjukkan bahwa infeksi bakteri tidak hanya bergantung pada kondisi lingkungan, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh daya tahan tubuh udang dan pengelolaan tambak. Peningkatan kadar bahan organik diduga berperan dalam mendukung pertumbuhan bakteri patogen. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan pentingnya pemantauan parameter kualitas air dan kesehatan organ secara menyeluruh untuk mencegah infeksi bakteri. Kelimpahan Vibrio sp. pada media budidaya di tiga petak tambak mencapai D7= 3,49 × 104, D8= 8,69 × 104 dan D11= 4,60 × 104 CFU/ml, dengan puncak tertinggi pada petak D8 di minggu ke-5. Pada Hepatopankreas, kelimpahan Vibrio sp. mencapai D7= 145,6 × 103 , D8= 86 × 103 dan D11= 103,1 × 103. Pada minggu ke-5 ketiga petak mengalami nilai yang stabil dengan dua kali pengenceran petak D7= 7,03 × 103, petak D8= 48,9 × 103, dan petak D11= 55,8 ×× 103.

Abstract

In 2022, Matematics Education of ITSNU Pasuruan will conduct a Thesis examination for the first batch of student. In order to be more effective and there is no overlap in the implementation of the thesis exam, proper and efficient techniques are needed in solving problems in the preparation of the thesis exam schedule. One of the the techniques that can be used for the preparation of the thesis exam schedule is by applying graph coloring with the main -sequence algorithm. The reseach method used in this research is literature study and data collection. The algorthm can be applied in preparing the thesis exam schedule at the Matematics Education ITSNU Pasuruan. The result of this study obtained seven test schedule that can be used so that there are no clashes between the thesis exam schedule with the same supervisior. Suggestiob for the further research to improve in terms of schedule accurary, space, time and other variable so that the schedule obtained is more efficent and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya siswa kelas VIII A MTs Assholach Kejeron, kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa terbilang sedang. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil dari analisis soal yang menguji kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII A pada materi Statistika di nyatakan bahwa sebagian besar siswa kesulitan dalam memahami soal cerita. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan model atau metode pembelajaran yang dapat membangkitkan dan mendorong timbulnya aktivitas aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga akan berdampak pada meningkatnya kemampuan komunikasi matematika. Model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dipilih sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran di mana guru dalam mengajar dapat membantu siswa untuk melatih kemampuan komunikasi matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP ditinjau dari tingkat kecerdasan emosional dengan model pembelajaraan kooperatif tipe Kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti dan instrumen pendukungnya adalah angket kecerdasan emosional, tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional tinggi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) hanya perlu membaca keseluruhan soal sekali untuk menemukan informasi yang terdapat pada soal kemudian mengulangnya kembali untuk menuliskannya pada lembar jawaban yang disediakan. Selain itu, subjek sangat santai dan yakin dalam mengungkapkan informasi secara lisan. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional sedang dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD)harus membaca permasalahan berulang-ulang terlebih dahulu untuk menemukan informasi yang terdapat pada soal, namun dapat menuliskannya dengan benar pada lembar jawaban yang disediakan. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional rendah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) harus disuruh terlebih dahulu untuk membaca dan harus dilihat oleh peneliti pada saat mengerjakan soal, karena jika tidak dilihat subjek hanya diam saja dan melamun, namun dapat menuliskannya dengan benar pada lembar jawaban yang disediakan. Selain itu subjek masih tersendat-sendat dan berpikir lama dalam mengungkapkannya secara lisan.

Abstract

This study develops and validates AI-integrated electronic modules (e-modules) for instruction in mathematical induction. Mathematical induction requires sophisticated logical reasoning, yet students often struggle to master this proof technique. The research employed a systematic three-phase approach: analysis of learning challenges, design of e-module architecture with AI integration, and development using the Canva platform with integrated AI tools including Wolfram Alpha, Interactive Theorem Provers, and ChatGPT. Validation used a 4-point Likert scale across four primary dimensions, including material aspect, media aspect, language aspect, and learning aspect. Unlike traditional materials, these AI-integrated e-modules provide personalized feedback, adaptive learning pathways, and real-time diagnostic support tailored to individual student needs. Results demonstrate the potential of AI-enhanced educational technology in bridging the gap between complex mathematical reasoning and student comprehension.

Abstract

Background of study: Psychological well-being is a major concern for employees at UPTD Puskesmas Mojosari, particularly those facing high job demands. Social support plays an important role in this context.Aims and scope of paper: This study aims to identify the relationship between social support and psychological well-being among these employees. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 44 respondents from all UPTD Mojosari Health Center employees, selected through a total sampling technique.Methods: Data were collected using questionnaires that measured both social support and psychological well-being.Result: The results indicated that a significant portion of respondents experienced low social support, which was associated with low psychological well-being. Analysis using Spearman's rho test revealed a significant correlation (p < 0.05) between social support and psychological well-being. This finding suggests that higher levels of social support are linked to better psychological well-being among employees.Conclusion: The implications of this study emphasize the importance of social support in maintaining mental and emotional health in the workplace. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen social support systems to create a healthier and more productive work environment.

Abstract

In creating educational objectives aligned with the Learning Compass 2030, it is essential to establish a learning environment where students feel comfortable and to apply learning strategies suited to the characteristics of the learners. The objective of this research is to map students' metacognitive skills to understand their learning strategies in solving science-related problems. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, which involves collecting both quantitative and qualitative data, integrating the two forms of data, and using diverse research designs. The quantitative data were obtained from administering metacognitive skills tests and questionnaires, while qualitative data were gathered from student interviews. The research yielded several findings: (1) expert validity results for the metacognitive skills instrument indicated it is valid, (2) trial testing of the instrument showed it to be reliable and valid, (3) the profile of students' metacognitive skills across all indicators was found to be low in three different schools, and (4) there was a high response rate. The novelty of this research lies in mapping students' metacognitive skills in three different regions after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Knowledge inheritance is a crucial component of sustaining agricultural practices amidst modernization. This study examines the role of farmer groups in the transmission of farming culture and the system of cultural knowledge inheritance among members of the Mulya Tani Farmer Group in Sipanjang Hamlet. This study employs a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach to explore and comprehend farming culture through behavioral patterns and interactions within the farming community of Sipanjang Hamlet. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the transmission of farming knowledge among farmers persists, evolving from traditional local knowledge to incorporating elements of agricultural modernization into the training. Farmer groups introduce new knowledge, resulting in a shift in traditional practices. The integration of modern and local knowledge in farming practices encompasses aspects such as knowledge, farming techniques, tools, technologies, and traditions. The transmission of farming cultural knowledge is facilitated by three preservation aspects: protection, development, and utilization. Agricultural modernization is associated with capitalization through government extension programmes. However, local traditions remain intact, as commercialization does not undermine the knowledge system. The transmission of farming cultural knowledge serves not only economic purposes but also supports the preservation of local knowledge and agricultural sustainability.   Pewarisan pengetahuan menjadi aspek penting dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan praktik pertanian di tengah era modernisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kelompok tani dalam pewarisan budaya bertani dan sistem pewarisan pengetahuan budaya bertani pada petani Kelompok Tani Mulya Tani di Dusun Sipanjang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi sebagai pendekatan untuk menggali dan memahami budaya bertani melalui pola perilaku dan interaksi pada masyarakat petani Dusun Sipanjang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pewarisan pengetahuan bertani pada petani  dilakukan hingga sekarang dengan dinamika pengetahuan bertani dari yang sebelumnya berupa pengetahuan lokal hingga masuknya modernisasi pertanian. Kehadiran kelompok tani membawa kebaharuan pengetahuan dan adanya pergeseran pengetahuan lama. Pewarisan praktik bertani seiring modernisasi pertanian mengintegrasikan pengetahuan modern dan pengetahuan lokal yang meliputi aspek pengetahuan, teknik bertani, alat, teknologi dan tradisi. Pewarisan pengetahuan budaya bertani melalui tiga aspek pelestarian, yaitu perlindungan, pengembangan, dan pemanfaatan. Modernisasi pertanian memiliki keterkaitan dengan kapitalisasi melalui program penyuluhan oleh pemerintah. Akan tetapi, aspek pengetahuan berupa tradisi lokal tidak digantikan sebab komersialisasi tidak menyerang sistem pengetahuan tersebut. Pewarisan pengetahuan budaya bertani tidak hanya sekedar untuk kepentingan mendapatkan keuntungan secara ekonomi, tetapi juga mendukung menjaga kelestarian pengetahuan lokal dan keberlanjutan pertanian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mensintesis temuan-temuan penelitian terkait peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) melalui pendekatan tinjauan literatur sistematis. Permasalahan penelitian ini berangkat dari masih rendahnya keterampilan menulis puisi siswa yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan kosakata, rendahnya motivasi, serta kurang bervariasinya model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan teknik komparatif terhadap artikel-artikel penelitian yang relevan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari 30 artikel jurnal nasional yang terbit dalam rentang waktu 2014–2024. Proses kajian meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan (penelusuran dan seleksi artikel), serta pelaporan hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar studi menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan menegaskan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis puisi siswa melalui penerapan berbagai model, metode, dan media pembelajaran, seperti media gambar, audio visual, mind mapping, inkuiri, hingga project-based learning. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa variasi model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kontekstual mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, serta kualitas hasil tulisan puisi siswa. Dengan demikian, kajian ini memberikan kontribusi akademik berupa pemetaan kecenderungan metode penelitian dan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam upaya peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi pada jenjang SMP.Improving Poetry Writing Skills in Junior High School Students: A Systematic Literature ReviewThis study aims to examine and synthesize research findings related to improving poetry writing skills in Junior High School (SMP) students through a systematic literature review approach. The research problem stems from the still low poetry writing skills of students caused by limited vocabulary, low motivation, and a lack of variety of learning models used by teachers. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a comparative technique against relevant research articles. Research data were collected from 30 national journal articles published between 2014 and 2024. The review process includes the planning stage, implementation (search and selection of articles), and reporting the results of the analysis. The results show that most studies used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method and confirmed a significant increase in students' poetry writing skills through the application of various learning models, methods, and media, such as images, audiovisuals, mind mapping, inquiry, and project-based learning. These findings confirm that a variety of innovative and contextual learning models can improve motivation, creativity, and the quality of students' poetry writing. Thus, this study provides an academic contribution by mapping the trends in research methods and effective learning strategies for improving poetry writing skills at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Mental health is a crucial aspect of student development, yet it is often overlooked in schools. Adolescents are vulnerable to academic, social, and emotional stress, requiring appropriate interventions to increase their awareness and ability to maintain their mental health. This study aims to improve adolescent mental health literacy through the use of creative media in the Leadership Project "Express Your Care: Mentally Healthy School Work." The method used was descriptive qualitative with a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach involving 10 students in grades VII and VIII. Data were collected through observation, documentation, participant reflection, and informal interviews during the implementation of three core activities: mental health outreach, poster design training using Canva, and screen-printing tote bags as a campaign medium. The results showed that the use of creative media proved effective in increasing students' understanding of mental health, developing design skills, and producing 10 campaign tote bags that were able to spread positive messages. These findings confirm that creative media can be a relevant and effective means of improving adolescent mental health literacy in schools
