Abstract

Indonesian Language is a subject that has a wide reach and in the last 2 years, since 2021, the Ministry of Education and Culture has ordered each educational unit to build the character of Pancasila Student Profiles. This research is qualitative research with an evaluative descriptive design. The research stages begin with preparing a research proposal and research instruments, data collection, data reduction, data analysis, data conclusion, and report preparation. The theory used is CLIL, namely thematic-integrative terms in the 2013 Curriculum as an embodiment of CLIL implementation. Coyle (2007) proposed 4C as an application of CLIL, namely content, communication, cognition, culture (community/citizenship). The research results show that in implementing Pancasila student profiles, it is important to prioritize a holistic, integrated and contextual approach. The aim is not only for students to have a theoretical understanding of Pancasila, but also to be able to apply these values in real life by becoming responsible, tolerant citizens and contributing positively to society. Moreover, the implementation of global diversity in learning can help students become global citizens being aware of differences and have the ability to interact positively in an increasingly connected and diverse society.

Abstract

The community service aims at training the internship medical doctor on effective communication for doctor-patient narrative inquiry on TBC. This workshop was held due to need for the achievement on TBC contact investigation. Four-step training was conducted including exposure to effective communication and narrative inquiry, focus group discussion on problems and alternative solutions, peer doctor-patient communication practice, and reflection. The results of the current community service reveal that the achievement on TBC investigation rises due to the internship medical doctors willingness to do the follow through of the program. They have initially followed the standard norms of doctor-patient communication, and even improve their method of communication by utilizing their knowledge and understanding of the conversational maxims and use it in the narrative inquiry on TBC.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to support the creation of Situbondo Regency as an inclusion city. The service team of Jember University collaborated with the disability pillar care Program implemented by PPDi Situbondo. The concrete steps of this service activity include (1) reviewing the development of disability issues and discourses to make it into a film Concept, (2) realizing the concept into a fiction film script with the theme of disability. The implementation method is carried out in three stages, namely the preparatory stage, the mentoring and production stage, the evaluation stage. The results of the implementation of this service have realized two stages, namely the first, building a commitment with partners (PPDi Situbondo) through FGD activities. FGD results have been obtained information that there are still various problems in realizing Situbondo as a disability-friendly city. The results of the FGD were finally focused on the field of Education. This is in accordance with the results of the FGD that PPDiS partners prefer to direct disability-friendly environmental education programs to the people of Situbondo Regency. The second stage is to socialize the draft of the disability fiction film script through FGD with partners. The second phase of the FGD focused on discussing the draft script for disability fiction films by discussing characters and character figures. It also discusses the scenario of disability fiction films. The results of the FGD have produced several characters and characters consisting of six characters and a fictional disability film scenario.Keywords: Situbondo inclusion, fiction film, disabilityABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung terciptanya Kabupaten Situbondo sebagai kota inklusi. Tim pengabdian Universitas Jember berkolaborasi dengan Program Peduli Pilar Disabilitas yang dilaksanakan oleh PPDi Situbondo. Langkah–langkah konkret kegiatan pengabdian ini antara lain, (1) penelaahan perkembangan isu dan wacana disabilitas untuk mewujudkannya ke dalam konsep film, (2) merealisasikan konsep menjadi naskah film fiksi bertema disabilitas. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pendampingan dan produksi, tahap evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian ini telah mewujudkan dua tahap yaitu pertama, membangun komitmen dengan mitra (PPDIS Situbondo) melalui kegiatan FGD. Hasil FGD telah diperoleh informasi bahwa masih ditemukan berbagai masalah dalam mewujudkan Situbondo sebagai kota ramah disabilitas. Hasil FGD tersebut akhirnya difokuskan pada bidang pendidikan. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil FGD bahwa mitra PPDIS lebih mengarahkan program pendidikan lingkungan ramah disabilitas kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Situbondo. Tahap kedua, melakukan sosialisasi draf naskah film fiksi disabilitas melalui FGD dengan pihak mitra. FGD tahap kedua difokuskan pada pembahasan draf naskah film fiksi disabilitas dengan mendiskusikan tokoh dan karakter tokoh. Selain itu juga membahas skenario film fiksi disabilitas. Hasil FGD telah menghasilkan beberapa tokoh dan karakternya yang terdiri atas enam tokoh serta skenario film fiksi disabilitas.Kata Kunci: Situbondo inklusi, film fiksi, disabilitas

Abstract

Berdasarkan realitas kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara saat ini, terutama terkait dengan berbagai kasus hoaks dalam komunikasi sosial, pada dasarnya, bangsa Indonesia sangat membutuhkan kesantunan, khususnya kesantunan berbahasa. Kebutuhan itu tidak hanya terkait dengan persoalan pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya leluhur, tetapi jauh lebih pragmatis dari itu adalah masalah penciptaan kedamaian warga negara, pembangunan karakter bangsa, yang se-kaligus menjadi upaya pengembangan aset wisata budaya di era ini untuk menuju Indonesia emas yang maju. Dilihat dari sisi ini, secara sosial maupun ekonomik, kesantunan berbahasa menduduki posisi strategis bagi pemba-ngunan nasional secara keseluruhan. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran kesantunan berbahasa secara formal di sekolah-sekolah menjadi sangat penting dan strategis untuk diadakan. Bagaimana esensi dan di mana posisi pembelajaran kesantunan berbahasa ini dilaksanakan? Artikel ini menawarkan diskusi berkenaan dengan dua pertanyaan tersebut.    Katakunci: pembelajaran, kesantunan berbahasa, Indonesia emasBased on the reality of our nation and state life today, especially related to various cases of hoax in social communication, basically, Indonesian people need politeness, especially language politeness. The need is not only related to the issue of preservation of cultural values of ancestors, but also related to the problem of creating peace among citizen, building the nation's character, which is at the same time an effort to develop cultural tourism assets in this era to move towards an advanced golden Indonesia. Viewed from this side, socially and economically, politeness in language occupies a strategic position for national development as a whole. Thus, the learning of politeness in formal language in schools becomes very important and strategic to implement. How is the essence and where is this politeness learning position carried out? Abstract

Semantik adalah cabang ilmu linguistik yang mempelajari tentang arti atau makna berupa perubahan dan perkembangan. Makna memiliki tiga aspek yakni meliputi makna leksikal, makna gramatikal, dan makna kontekstual. Makna kontekstual sederhananya yakni makna yang bergantung pada situasi kata atau ujaran tersebut digunakan. Permasalahan yang dikaji pada penelitian ini adalah Bentuk makna kontekstual leksikon dalam rubrik Politik pada blog Mojok.co edisi Februari 2022 dan Bentuk perubahan makna kontekstual leksikon dalam rubrik Politik pada blog Mojok.co edisi Februari 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yakni naturalistic langkah-langkah umum. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Kualitatif., sedangkan Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada rubrik Politik Blog Mojok.co Edisi Februari 2022 terdapat lima bentuk satuan leksikon yang ditemukan yakni yaitu (1) Perbedaan bidang pemakaian (2) adanya asosiasi, (3) tanggapan indera (sinestesia), (4) perbedaan tanggapan, (5) pengembangan istilah. Bentuk perubahan makna kontekstual yang ditemukan dalam rubrik Politik Blog Mojok.co Edisi Februari 2022 yakni (1) Ditemukannya data perbedaan bidang pemakaian leksikon yang penggunaannya berbeda dengan makna sebenarnya (2) Adanya bentuk pengembangan istilah baik itu berupa meluas, dan pengasaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan makna praanggapan yang terdapat pada sebuah tuturan antarpartisipan. Makna praanggapan adalah paparan-paparan asumsi atau dugaan dalam tuturan antarpartisipan. Program Brownis TransTV merupakan gelar wicara sejak 2017 yang memiliki topik bahasan yang sedang ramai diperbincangkan. Tuturan antarpartisipan Brownis mengandung praanggapan sebagai latar belakang suatu tindak tutur. Fokus masalah penelitian ini, yaitu mendeskripsikan makna praanggapan yang terdapat pada acara Brownis TransTV dan relevansinya dengan pembelajaran yakni mengidentifikasi informasi berupa kritik, sanggahan, dan pujian, sehingga cocok dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif materi teks tanggapan kelas IX di SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik dengan cara kerja menggunakan teori praanggapan. Data berupa tuturan dan konteks antarpartisipan dalam acara Brownis di TransTV diindikasikan memiliki praanggapan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah empat video Brownis di TransTV. Kriteria video yang ditetapkan bertema pendidikan dan dapat memotivasi pembaca dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini teknik dokumentasi serta teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat pengumpulan data. Teori analisis data yang digunakan dalam dalam penelitian ini ialah pragmatik dengan teori praanggapan. Pendekatan pragmatik digunakan untuk menangkap maksud dari tuturan partisipan dalam acara Brownis di Trans TV yang diindikasikan praanggapan. Hasil penelitian ini makna praanggapan yang terdapat pada acara Brownis TransTV yakni, paparan-paparan asumsi atau dugaan dalam tuturan antarpartisipan, meliputi makna: faktual, nonfaktual, leksikal, eksistensial, danstruktural serta pemanfaatannya sebagai materi pembelajaran teks tanggapan kelas IX. Dalam penelitian ini tidak ditemukan makna konterfaktual karena tidak terindikasi dalam tuturan antarpartisipan dalam acara Brownis di TransTV

Abstract

Penelitian ini berbentuk tindakan kelas untuk melihat dan memperbaiki pembelajaran terutama pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru di kelas. Tujuan adanya penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan menerapkan model problem based learning berbasis culturally responsive teaching. Penggunaan model problem based learning berbasis pendekatan culturally responsive teaching diharapkan mampu memperbaiki hasil belajar siswa terutama di UPTD Satdik Kebonsari 01 Jember. Peningkatan hasil belajar dilakukan salah satunya dengan pemberian masalah. Pendekatan berbasi kebudayaan atau disebut culturally responsive teaching diharapkan memberikan pemahaman bermakna di dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan 2 kali secara berulang dan membutuhkan 1 pertemuan memberikan dampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ketuntasan nilai siswa yang awal 20 anak dengan persentase 74,28% menjadi 25 anak dengan persentase 80,86%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwasannya penggunaan model yang diberikan dengan memberikan masalah lalu diintegrasikan kebudayaan siswa dapat berjalan dengan baik dan menunjukkan hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning is the right vehicle for presenting content-based learning because it is text-based learning. Recently, eco-culture has become a trend again as evidenced by various things being built and branded as policies, technology, products, goods and services based on eco-culture. In practice, Indonesian language learning in schools has the potential to be designed as content-based learning with an eco-cultural approach. Through the integration of Indonesian language learning with content based on an eco-cultural approach, it is hoped that Indonesian language learning in schools will provide support for the development of eco-cultural-based edu-tourism in Indonesia. Eco-Cultural Based Indonesian Language Learning to Strengthen Edu-Tourism in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Area" has urgency and relevance to the direction of research focuses at the University of Jember and supports national development schemes designed by the government.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of compliance and violation of cooperative principle by Grice in character utteranaces in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur, and its use in pragmatic lectures. The method used is descriptive qualitative with documentation techniques and data analysis of the Miles & Huberman model. The collection step began with an intensive reading of the novel Tanah Surga Merah, followed by the identification of data in the form of speech segments and speech contexts that contained elements of the application of the cooperataive principle. The results of the study showed that there was compliance and violation of one to four maxims in various combinations. Compliance reflects the existence of effective and cooperative communication, while violations trigger conflict. These findings are relevant as discussion materials to train students' understanding and critical thinking in pragmatic lectures.

Abstract

The limitation of learning materials that focus solely on structure and linguistic aspects demonstrates the need for the development of teaching materials that encourage students to think scientifically in a comprehensive manner, starting from observation to report writing. This study aims to assist students in understanding report text materials more effectively as well as to contribute to the preservation of local wisdom. The e-module on observation report texts based on local wisdom is in line with the objectives of the national curriculum, which emphasizes character development and cultural understanding. This research belongs to the category of Research and Development (R&D). The research design employed the 4-D Model (Four-D Models) by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data in this study comprise verbal and numerical data. Verbal data were obtained through expert and practitioner validation in the form of feedback and suggestions, while numerical data were derived from assessments conducted by validators and student questionnaires. The results of the feasibility percentage calculation of the e-module based on expert and practitioner validation yielded an average of 87%. Meanwhile, the feasibility percentage based on students’ responses reached an average of 92%. These percentages demonstrate that the e-module of observation report texts based on the local wisdom of Banyuwangi for Grade X vocational high school students is highly feasible and can be implemented in the learning process.
