Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh signifikan dan seberapa besar penggunaan English teks book (General, Organic, And Biological Chemistry, Sixth Edition) terhadap penyelesaian tugas proyek. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitaif dengan menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, dimana variable independent (X) nya adalah penggunaan english teks book dan variable dependen (Y) adalah penyelesaian tugas proyek, dengan mengunakan dua variable tersebut, maka Teknik Analisa data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier sederhana, sampel diambil secara purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah kimia umum dan kimia dasar di FKIP Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah TA. 2022/2023. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian adalah (a) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan English teks book (General, Organic, And Biological Chemistry, Sixth Edition) terhadap penyelesaian tugas proyek dengan nilai sig 0,007 (0,007 0,05); (b) besarnya pengaruh variabel independent (penggunaan English teks book (General, Organic, And Biological Chemistry, Sixth Edition)) terhadap varibel dependen (penyelesaian tugas proyek) sebesar 22,60%. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan bahwa dalam menggunakan English teks book mahasiwa memiliki kemampuan mengintegrasikan produk dengan konsep kimia (94,35%) dan mahaiswa mampu menyelesaikan tugas proyek mahasiswa sudah mampu menentukan tugas proyek dengan mengkaitkan dengan kimia dan mampu menjelaskana prosedur kerja dengan standar laboratorium manual sebesar 80,65%

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted on grade VI students of UPT SDN 064037 Kecamatan Medan Tembung. This research was motivated by the problem of low student interest in learning during the learning of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. The main objective of this study was to increase students' interest in learning IPAS through the application of Wordwall media. The subjects of the study were 24 grade VI students of UPT SDN 064037 Kecamatan Medan Tembung. The research process was carried out in two cycles with stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection in each cycle. During the observation stage, the researcher used a learning interest observation sheet to monitor the level of student interest and enthusiasm in learning. Initial data or pre-cycle showed that the level of student interest in learning was still quite good with an average of 71.00%. After the application of Wordwall media in the first cycle, there was an increase in learning interest to 78.67%, which showed an increase towards the good category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, there was a significant increase to 88.17%, which was in the very good category. Thus, the use of Wordwall media has proven effective in increasing students' interest in learning IPAS subjects for grade VI.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted on fifth grade students of SDN 106831 Bakaran Batu. This research was motivated by the problem of low student learning activity during the learning of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. The main objective of this study was to improve student learning activity in IPAS lessons through the application of Wordwall media. The subjects of the study were 23 fifth grade students of SDN 106831 Bakaran Batu. The research process was carried out in two cycles with stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection in each cycle. During the observation stage, the researcher used an observation sheet of learning activity to monitor the level of student involvement in learning. Initial data or pre-cycle showed that the level of student learning activity was still relatively low with an average of 57.18%. After the application of Wordwall media in the first cycle, there was an increase in activity to 69.57%, which showed an increase towards the fairly good category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, there was a significant increase to 90.11%, which was in the very good category. Thus, the use of Wordwall media has proven effective in increasing students' learning activity in the subject of science for grade V.Keywords: Wordwall media, Student learning activity, Classroom action research, Science learning for grade V.
