Abstract

Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are widely grown in the community yards of Kemetul Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency. The use of TOGA that is not optimal and the low selling price of these plants are the main problems faced by the Women Farmers Group (KWT) of Kemetul Village. This is the background for the implementation of Community Service activities carried out by the Himafarsi Service Team of Ngudi Waluyo University. The activity was carried out through training on making simplicia and herbal products with the target of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Kemetul Village. The method of implementing the program is done offline. Indicators of program success can be seen through the increase in participants' knowledge by 96.6%. Community Service Activities have produced activity outputs in the form of participants' abilities in making simplicia, herbal products in the form of W'dank Ginger Plus, Ready to Drink herbs Kunyit Asem and Kencur Rice as well as the opening of Cafe Jamoe Kemetul. The community can use TOGA as herbal products and sell it at Cafe Jamoe Kemetul so that it can increase the selling value of plant products.ABSTRAKTanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) banyak tumbuh di lahan pekarangan masyarakat Desa Kemetul, Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang. Pemanfaatan TOGA yang kurang maksimal serta rendahnya harga jual hasil tanaman tersebut merupakan permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Desa Kemetul. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pengabdian Himafarsi Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Simplisia dan Produk jamu dengan mitra sasaran Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Desa Kemetul. Metode pelaksanaan program dilakukan secara offline. Indikator keberhasilan program dapat diketahui melalui persentase peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 96,6%. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat telah menghasilkan output kegiatan berupa kemampuan peserta dalam pembuatan simplisia, produk jamu berupa W’dank Ginger Plus, jamu Ready to Drink Kunyit Asem dan Beras Kencur serta pembukaan Cafe Jamoe Kemetul. Masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan TOGA menjadi produk jamu dan dijual di Cafe Jamoe Kemetul sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai jual hasil tanaman.

Abstract

Changes in disease patterns in Indonesia in the last 30 years show that the biggest causes of death and illness are no longer infectious and contagious diseases, but non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke. Various young people to the elderly, with varying economic levels experience this disease. It is feared that the morbidity rate will continue to increase, along with the lifestyle of people who are not physically active. This non-communicable disease (PTM), although it looks like a harmless disease, requires long-term treatment. The conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic caused anxiety both about the course of the disease in prolanis patients and anxiety about exposure to the CoV virus. The purpose of this activity is to provide education, increase prolanis patient adherence to therapy and prevent excessive anxiety that can cause mental health problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. Health monitoring including medication adherence is carried out through the HARMONIC POCKET BOOK. The level of understanding of the participants is obtained from filling out a questionnaire through a link, which is then analyzed using statistics and percentage values. Based on the results of the posttest, through online counseling activities can improve understanding of the material with a p value of 0.00 and some 90% of participants have a level of understanding in the good and very good categories.abstrakPerubahan pola penyakit di Indonesia dalam 30 tahun terakhir ini, menunjukkan bahwa penyebab kematian dan kesakitan terbesar bukan lagi penyakit infeksi dan menular, tetapi penyakit tidak menular seperti DM, jantung, stroke. Berbagai kalangan muda sampai manula, dengan tingkat perekonomian yang bervariasi mengalami penyakit ini. Angka kesakitan dikhawatirkan akan terus meningkat, seiring pola hidup masyarakat yang tidak aktif secara fisik. Penyakit tidak menular (PTM) ini, meski terkesan penyakit yang tidak membahayakan, tetapi membutuhkan pengobatan jangka lama. Kondisi masa pandemi Covid-19, menyebabkan timbulnya kecemasan baik terhadap perjalanan penyakit pada pasien prolanis maupun kecemasan terhadap paparan virus CoV. Tujuan kegiatan ini dalam rangka memberikan edukasi, meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien prolanis terhadap terapi dan mencegah terjadinya kecemasan yang berlebihan sehingga menimbulkan gangguan pada kesehatan jiwa selama pandemi Covid-19. Monitoring kesehatan termasuk kepatuhan pengobatan dilakukan melalui BUKU SAKU HARMONIS. Tingkat pemahaman peserta diperoleh dari pengisian kuisioner melalui link, yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan statistika dan nilai persentase. Berdasarkan hasil postest, melalui kegiatan penyuluhan secara daring dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi dengan p value 0,00 dan sebagian 90% peserta memiliki tingkat pemahaman dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik.

Abstract

Ginger is a one of rhizome herbal plant that has many health benefits. Consumption of ginger both directly and through the manufacture of ginger-based products has also increased during the pandemic and after the pandemic. The utilization of yard land that is less than optimal and the low selling of ginger are the main problems faced by the Women Farmer Group "Dewi Sri" in Kemetul Village, which are the background for the implementation of Community Service activities carried out by the Himafarsi Service Team, Ngudi Waluyo University. The activity was carried out through Training on Breeding and Making Ginger Drink Products with the target partner of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) “Dewi Sri” Kemetul Village. The method of implementing the program is done offline and online. The results of the Service activities can be seen through the success indicators which show an increase in participants' knowledge by 64%. Community Service Activities have resulted in activity outputs in the form of ginger seeds in polybags on the pilot land and beverage products in the form of instant ginger powder with the basic ingredients of Red Ginger and Emprit Ginger which have been through hedonic tests by respondents. ABSTRAKJahe merupakan salah satu tanaman herbal jenis rimpang yang memiliki banyak khasiat bagi kesehatan. Konsumsi terhadap jahe baik secara langsung maupun melalui pembuatan produk berbahan dasar jahe juga meningkat selama pandemi berlangsung maupun pasca pandemi. Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan yang kurang maksimal serta rendahnya harga jual jahe merupakan permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Wanita Tani Dewi Sri Desa Kemetul menjadi latar belakang pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pengabdian Himafarsi Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui Pelatihan Pembibitan dan Pembuatan Produk Minuman Jahe dengan mitra sasaran Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Dewi Sri Desa Kemetul. Metode pelaksanaan program dilakukan secara offline dan online. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian dapat dilihat melalui indikator keberhasilan yang menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 64%. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat telah menghasilkan output kegiatan berupa bibit jahe dalam polybag pada lahan percontohan dan produk minuman berupa serbuk jahe instan dengan bahan dasar Jahe Merah dan Jahe Emprit yang telah melalui uji hedonik oleh responden.

Abstract

Sumogawe Village has a lot of unused land that has not been used for farming. Residents of Sumogawe Village use their yard to Medicinal Plants (TOGA). Utilization of TOGA has not been carried out optimally and the large number of unused land is the main problem in Sumogawe Village. These conditions are the background for implementing community service in Sumogawe Village. The implementation of the service was carried out offline targeting the Millennial Farmers Group (KTM) and the Women Farmers Group (KWT) of Sumogawe Village. The service activity consists of 2 activities, the first is counseling about the breeding and planting of TOGA plants consisting of red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum), turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val.) and ginger (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb). In this activity, the implementing team collaborated with the Getasan Agricultural Extension Center (BPP). The second activity was a workshop on making herbal products made from red ginger, turmeric and ginger combined with fresh cow's milk from the livestock of Sumogawe Village residents. The output resulting from community service activities is a 500 m2 demonstration plot planted with red ginger, turmeric and ginger with a total of 60 kg of seeds. Another output is increasing the knowledge and skills of the Sumogawe Village community by 96% regarding the use of TOGA plants into herbal products of instant red ginger powder, instant turmeric powder and ginger gummy candy.   ABSTRAK                 Desa Sumogawe memiliki banyak lahan tidur yang belum dimanfaatkan untuk bercocok tanam. Warga Desa Sumogawe memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah untuk menanam Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). Pemanfaatan TOGA belum dilakukan secara maksimal serta banyaknya lahan tidur menjadi masalah utama di Desa Sumogawe. Kondisi tersebut menjadi latar belakang pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Sumogawe. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan secara offline dengan sasaran Kelompok Tani Milenial (KTM) dan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Desa Sumogawe. Kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari 2 kegiatan, yang pertama penyuluhan tentang pembibitan dan penanaman tanaman TOGA yang terdiri dari jahe merah (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum), kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) dan temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb). Pada kegiatan ini tim pelaksana bekerja sama dengan Balai Penyuluh Pertanian (BPP) Getasan. Kegiatan yang kedua yaitu workshop pembuatan produk herbal berbahan dasar jahe merah, kunyit dan temulawak yang dikombinasi dengan susu sapi segar hasil ternak warga Desa Sumogawe. Output yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu adanya lahan percontohan seluas 500 m2 yang ditanami jahe merah, kunyit dan temulawak dengan total bibit 60 kg. Output yang lain yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Sumogawe sebesar 96% tentang pemanfaatan tanaman TOGA menjadi produk herbal serbuk instan jahe merah, serbuk instan kunyit dan gummy candy temulawak.

Abstract

Kemetul Village is one of the villages located in Susukan District, Semarang Regency. Based on the results of a survey from target partners, it is known that residents of Kemetul Village have never received information about stunting, causes and dangers. Target partners have never received education about the importance of preventing stunting during the 1000 days of a toddler's life and the use of herbal plants to improve toddler nutrition. This community service program was carried out using educational methods for housewives in Kemetul Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency. The number of participants who took part in educational activities was 30 participants consisting of housewives and several elderly people. The percentage of participants' evaluation results before being given education fell into the category of less understanding at 56.6%, quite understanding 26.6%, good understanding 16.6% and very good 0%. Participants' understanding increased after being given education, namely being included in the very good category at 53.3%, good at 43.3%, fair at 3.3% and poor at 0%. Based on the participant understanding questionnaire, it was found that after being given education there was an increase in participants' understanding of stunting by 96.6%.   ABSTRAK                 Desa Kemetul merupakan salah satu Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil survey kepada mitra sasaran diketahui warga Desa Kemetul belum pernah mendapatkan informasi terkait stunting, penyebab dan bahayanya. Mitra sasaran belum pernah mendapatkan edukasi tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting pada 1000 hari kehidupan Balita serta pemanfaatan tanaman herbal untuk meningkatkan gizi balita. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdiaan kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode edukasi pada ibu rumah tangga di Desa Kemetul, Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan edukasi yaitu 30 peserta yang terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga dan beberapa lansia. Persentase hasil evaluasi peserta sebelum diberikan edukasi masuk dalam kategori kurang paham sebanyak 56,6%, cukup paham 26,6%, pemahaman yang baik 16,6% dan sangat baik 0%. Pemahaman peserta mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan edukasi yaitu termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik sebesar 53,3%, baik 43,3%, cukup 3,3% dan kurang sebanyak 0%. Berdasarkan kuesioner pemahaman peserta diketahui bahwa setelah diberikan edukasi terdapat peningkatan pemahaman tentang penyakit stunting sebesar 96,6%.

Abstract

Trayu Village has a relatively large population, and each resident produces household waste. The large amount of household waste is one of the problems in Trayu Village because it can affect health, cleanliness and comfort. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public knowledge about the use of household waste into useful products. Community service activities were carried out in Trayu Village with PKK mothers as participants. The activity was carried out offline and began with the distribution of pretest questionnaires, counseling on waste management, making products from household waste, and ended with the distribution of posttest questionnaires. The products made include eco enzyme with the main ingredients of fresh vegetable and fruit waste, dishwashing soap using eco enzyme, and candles with used cooking oil as the main ingredient. Based on the results of the workshop activities and the analysis of the pretest and posttest results, it was found that the level of understanding of the training participants increased by 90%. It can be concluded that the knowledge of the training participants increased significantly.   ABSTRAK Desa Trayu memiliki jumlah penduduk yang relatif besar, dan setiap warga menghasilkan sampah rumah tangga. Banyaknya sampah rumah tangga menjadi salah satu permasalahan di Desa Trayu karena dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan, kebersihan dan kenyamanan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan sampah rumah tangga menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Desa Trayu dengan peserta ibu-ibu PKK. Kegiatan dilakukan secara offline dan dimulai dengan pembagian kuesioner pretest, penyuluhan tentang pengelolaan sampah, pembuatan produk berbahan dasar sampah rumah tangga, dan diakhir dengan pembagian kuesioner postets. Produk yang dibuat meliputi eco enzyme dengan bahan utama sisa sayur dan buah segar, sabun cuci piring menggunakan eco enzyme, dan lilin dengan bahan dasar minyak jelantah. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan workshop dan d analisis dari hasil pretest serta post test diketahui bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 90%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan meningkat secara singnifikan.

Abstract

Kemetul Village is located in Susukan District, Semarang Regency, with the livelihoods of its people as farmers/planters and entrepreneurs. In Kemetul Village, there are many UMKM that utilize the harvest from plants. The understanding of business actors about developing new products from harvests and product marketing strategies that are still lacking, prompted the implementation team to carry out community service in Kemetul Village. Community service activities were carried out from July to September 2024. The methods used included surveys and interviews with village officials and the head of the "Dewi Sri" Women's Farmers Group (KWT) and continued with the implementation of training on product development, packaging design, product licensing, product photos and digital marketing. The conclusion of the community service activities in Kemetul Village is that all training has been carried out well and has had a positive impact on UMKM actors. This activity program produces a diversity of new products, namely tomato fruit juice hard candy, ginger candy, vegetable packs, and peanut oil. The increase in the number of UMKM products that have permits in the form of NIB and SPP-IRT and the increase in the skills of business actors in designing packaging and product photos and digital marketing through social media.   ABSTRAK Desa Kemetul berada di Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang dengan mata pencaharian masyarakatnya sebagai petani/pekebun dan wiraswasta. Di Desa Kemetul terdapat banyak pelaku UMKM dengan memanfaatkan hasil panen dari tanaman. Pemahaman pelaku usaha tentang pengembangan produk baru dari hasil panen dan strategi pemasaran produk yang masih kurang, memicu tim pelaksana untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Kemetul. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan sejak bulan Juli hingga September 2024. Metode yang dilakukan meliputi survey dan wawancara pada perangkat desa dan ketua Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) “Dewi Sri” dan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan tentang pengembangan produk, pembuatan desain kemasan, perizinan produk, foto produk dan pemasaran digital. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Kemetul yaitu semua pelatihan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif bagi pelaku UMKM. Program kegiatan ini menghasilkan diversitas produk baru yaitu hard candy sari buah tomat, permen jahe, sayur pack, dan minyak kacang. Penambahan jumlah produk UMKM yang memiliki perizinan berupa NIB dan SPP-IRT serta bertambahnya keterampilan pelaku usaha dalam mendesain kemasan dan foto produk serta pemasaran digital melalui media sosial.
