Abstract

Abstract

Double pendulum is a mechanical system that exhibits complex dynamic behavior, often used to study nonlinear dynamics and chaos. Along with the development of research, this system has been extended with the addition of several new constraints. This research aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) related to the extension of the double pendulum system and the formulation of the relevant equations of motion. The article search was conducted systematically, resulting in 27 documents that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis show that the extension of the gantry pendulum crane system with a payload is the main focus in this study. In addition, the most frequently used decomposition model is a mathematical model with a Lagrangian approach. These findings provide deep insights for further development of mathematical models as well as their applications in the fields of robotics, system control, and dynamic structural analysis.

Abstract

Elementary Science and Social Studies (IPAS) instruction often lacks interactive and culturally relevant learning media, limiting students’ engagement and critical thinking. This study aims to develop a Pop-Up Book based on Rembang's local wisdom to enhance fourth-grade students’ critical thinking skills and cultural appreciation. The research employed a Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Participants included two expert validators (material and media), two teachers, and 30 fourth-grade students from two public elementary schools in Rembang Regency. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, classroom observations, and pretest–posttest assessments. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and using N-Gain scores, while qualitative data were examined thematically. The developed Pop-Up Book received a validity score of 95% from experts, indicating very high feasibility. Practicality ratings from teachers and students were 92.5% and 91.8%, respectively. The effectiveness test showed an increase in students’ critical thinking scores, with an average N-Gain of 0.67, categorized as moderate to high. Observational data also revealed increased student engagement, questioning, and cultural awareness during learning activities. The findings demonstrate that the Rembang local wisdom-based Pop-Up Book is valid, practical, and effective for IPAS learning. It provides contextual, engaging instruction that supports critical thinking development while fostering cultural identity in alignment with Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement Flashcard-based Game-Based Learning (GBL) media to enhance elementary students’ understanding of basic arithmetic operations. The research followed the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The product’s feasibility was assessed through expert validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness evaluation. The results show that the Flashcard-based GBL media achieved an average validation score of 3.89 (very feasible) in terms of content, design, and language suitability. The practicality test obtained scores ranging from 3.95 to 4.00, indicating that the media was easy to use and engaging for both teachers and students. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with mean scores increasing from 49.63 (pretest) to 78.83 (posttest), an N-Gain of 0.60, and a p-value < 0.05. These findings demonstrate that Flashcard-based GBL effectively improves mathematical understanding, motivation, and learning engagement in a fun and interactive environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the Torma Code interactive media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to enhance fourth-grade students’ critical thinking skills in learning IPAS on the topic of the visual sense. Employing the ADDIE development model—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the research involved expert validation, practicality testing with teachers and students, and effectiveness testing using pretest–posttest design. The results show that the media, teaching module, and test instruments achieved a “highly valid” classification with an average feasibility score above 90%, demonstrating strong content accuracy, linguistic clarity, and technical quality. The practicality test revealed positive responses from teachers (92.5%) and students (93.6%), indicating that the media are easy to use, engaging, and supportive of meaningful learning. The effectiveness test using paired sample t-test showed significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills (Sig. < 0.05), with an N-Gain score of 0.55 categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that the Torma Code media effectively promotes contextual, collaborative, and student-centered learning. The product is therefore appropriate for broader implementation to support the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and strengthen scientific literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is one of the main competencies in 21st century life, but this competency is not practiced in schools. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of dynamic fluid module using STEM-PBL to improve students' scientific creativity. This module contains lesson plans, module content, materials and scientific creativity tests. This research includes research and development using an adaptation of the ADDIE model. The research trial used a one group pretest and posttest design on 21 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Takisung. Data were obtained from student learning outcomes tests, with module effectiveness of 0.41 in the moderate category. Thus, the dynamic fluid module using STEM-PBL developed is effective for increasing students' scientific creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with environmental literacy and local wisdom in enhancing the learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a comparative study design. The population of this study consists of all third-grade students at SDN Candi and SDN Batiombo 02, with a sample of 46 students. This sample includes 25 students in the experimental class implementing PBL integrated with environmental literacy and 21 students in the control class implementing PBL integrated with local wisdom. Data collection techniques included tests (pre-test and post-test), as well as teacher and student observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis testing with paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes in both classes, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The N-Gain test results show that the experimental class achieved an average score of 0.7129 (high category), while the control class achieved 0.6096 (moderate category). Furthermore, teacher and student activities in the experimental class were more optimal than those in the control class. The findings of this study demonstrate that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with environmental literacy is more effective than the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with local wisdom in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students.
