Abstract

The research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 042 Gambir in the mathematics subject of number counting operation material, with the aim that students' learning outcomes can increase, also to determine the activities of students and teachers as well as student responses in learning in mathematics subjects operating material count numbers. This study uses the learning strategy Start with a question, which is a learning strategy that makes students learn actively by making them ask about the subject matter before an explanation from the teacher. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) method known as Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve the quality of the learning process in the classroom. The technique of collecting data through observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The respondents were 33 fourth grade students of SDN 042 Gambir. The results of this study were: student learning outcomes in learning operations count numbers before action is still low, this is known from the students' reaching KKM 65 only 39.4% of all students. After the implementation of learning strategies. Student learning outcomes increased to 66.7% in cycle I and to 87.9% in cycle II, teacher and student activities increased and students' responses to learning were quite positive.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is low second grade students learning outcomes of Ciampel Elementary School Padalarang subdistrict Bandung Barat Regency in science subject energy source material. Class Action Research has been carried out which aim to improve student learning outcomes in science of energy resource material through the application method demonstration method in the second grade of Ciampel Elementary School. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisted of 4 stages. Namely : Planing, action, observation and reflection with the number of 30 students consisting of 10 boys and 20 girls. Trought out the last result of evaluation in the first cycle is obtained mastery of clasical learning amount 63.33% and the average value is 67.66. The result of the last evaluation of the second cycle is obtained mastery of classical learning amount is about 80% and the average value is 72,8. It can be concluded that the application of demonstration method is able to increase in science subject about energy resource material in second grade Ciampel Elementary School.

Abstract

This study attempts to analyse scenarios and implementation, the teachers and students, as well as the difficulties experienced by students in complete the task. The representation of a mathematical very important applied at the primary school 3rd class, due to find way of thinking students in conveying the idea of creating mathematical abstract to concrete. Through a project based learning (PjBL ), they can make some simple floating material concept into something concrete and can be used to reduce a learning disability and maths both more interactive and attractive. Descriptive qualitative use of this research. The scenarios and point to the findings from the students can learn more active teacher lessons learned by means of concrete using media and social interaction between teachers or friends. A very good teachers and students. The difficulties experienced by students in complete a task the floating a representation of a mathematical equation of the make or model of mathematical representations received and devise story to suit a representation served. Based on the results of research and of the discussion on this research, it can be deduced that there is the representation of the student mathematical 3rd class especially on math material floating PjBL after enactment of the model. Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas IV pada materi statistika adalah hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Karena hal tersebut peneliti bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran interaktif diagram batang dengan menggunakan model Group Investigation berbantuan powerpoint. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode research and development (R&D) tahapan Borg and Gall.  Berdasarkan hasil dari validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli praktisi terhadap media interaktif diagram batang ini mendapatkan skor diatas rata-rata degan kategori media valid dengan demikian media interaktif diagram batang layak digunakan. Pengembangan media interaktif diagram batang ini melalui dua tahap uji coba untuk mengetahui keefektifan media dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Pertama adalah uji coba terbatas kepada 10 siswa kelas IV dan yang kedua yaitu uji coba luas kepada 20 siswa kelas IV. Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah menggunakan desain penelitian one group design pretest-posttest pada uji terbatas dan uji luas terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, dalam artian setelah menggunakan media interaktif diagram batang kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa berkembang. Maka dari itu pengembangan media interaktif diagram batang dengan menggunakan model Group Investigation berbantuan powerpoint mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas IV SD khususnya pada materi statistika.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran Interaktif, Model Group Investigation, Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui skenario dan impelmentasi, respon siswa dan guru, kesulitan pada siswa dan kendala yang dihadapi guru selama proses pembelajaran daring materi satuan waktu berbantuan alat peraga jam pintar. Dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa SD kelas dua sebanyak 25 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriftif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian dari skenario dan implementasi menunjukkan adanya temuan di lapangan yaitu siswa dapat belajar lebih aktif dengan cara guru menggunakan alat peraga yang ditunjukan kepada siswa . Respon guru dan siswa menunjukan hasil yang baik. Kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh siswa pada pembelajaran daring materi satuan waktu yaitu pemahamanan dalam menentukan detik, menit dan jam. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi guru yaitu keterbatasan dalam berkomunikasi dengan siswa. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran daring materi satuan waktu dapat menjadi pembelajaran baru dan dapat melatih siswa dan guru supaya lebih aktif.   Â
