Abstract

The collection of student feedback, encompassing aspirations, and complaints, serves as a cornerstone in improving the quality of education and fostering institutional responsiveness in higher education. However, many universities, including Tarumanagara University, especially the Faculty of Information Technology still rely on manual processes for submitting these concerns, necessitating face-to-face interactions with faculty administrative personnel. This traditional approach often results in inefficiencies, including delayed responses and difficulty tracking complaints. This research addresses these issues by proposing the development of a web-based application designed to centralize and streamline the processing of student complaints and aspirations. Utilizing the waterfall model as the development methodology, the application is developed using ASP.NET with C# and SQL Server to ensure robust performance and data management. The outcomes of this initiative demonstrate significant improvements in both time efficiency and resource allocation for handling student feedback within the Faculty of Information Technology at Tarumanagara University. By implementing this web-based solution, the faculty aims to foster a more effective and responsive feedback mechanism that enhances student engagement and satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to design a K-Means clustering-based system that can help Kartini Helmet Store in grouping helmet sales data based on product category. With the increasing need for deeper data analysis to support business strategies, this store faces challenges in understanding sales patterns and customer preferences. This system utilizes the K-Means clustering algorithm implemented through the Python programming language to group sales data, facilitate trend analysis, and provide visualization of clustering results. The data used are store sales records in Excel format, which are then processed through stages starting from preprocessing to evaluating clustering results using the silhouette coefficient method to ensure clustering accuracy. The results of this study are expected to help stores in making decisions related to stock management, adjusting marketing strategies, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

In the midst of rapid global business development, information technology plays an important role in the health sector, especially in improving the quality of services to the community. The computerized system supports business success by speeding up and making various types of work more efficient, however Marvel Dental Clinic still has not implemented information technology to improve the quality of its services so there are several problems that arise, namely the reservation process is currently still done manually. Where this is a manual process, when patients make a reservation, they need to contact them via WhatsApp. The manual reservation process results in uncertainty in knowing the waiting time and uncertainty in getting an admin response. Another problem is that if you make a reservation for dental care using Whatsapp, if many patients make reservations, reservation applications can be piled up, so that the clinic does not know that there are reservations from these patients. This research aims to design and build a website-based dental care reservation system using the PHP programming language by utilizing the Laravel framework and the SDLC Prototype development method. This system makes it easier for patients to order services online and manage schedules more efficiently.

Abstract

The design of a web-based boarding house operational application with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of operational management at Kos Mandiri. This application is designed to replace the manual recording system that has been used, which has the potential to cause data errors and hamper productivity. By applying the UCD approach, this application ensures that the features developed are in accordance with the needs of users, both residents and boarding house owners. The design of the application display, which has been outlined in the form of wireframes, is expected to provide convenience in managing room data, payments, and complaints, as well as improving user experience. This application is expected to be a more efficient, transparent, and accessible solution for better boarding house management in the future.

Abstract

Toko Besi Irdawanti is a family-run business that operates in the buying and selling of scrap metal and various recyclable materials such as copper, aluminum, and cardboard. Located in Bogor City, West Java, Toko Besi Irdawanti currently uses a manual method for recording transactions and inventory, which involves handwritten paper notes. This method is prone to recording errors and inefficiencies. Therefore, digitalization is needed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of transaction and inventory records. The transaction recording system is designed to organize and store transaction data in a more orderly and systematic manner. On the other hand, the inventory management system is designed to monitor stock levels accurately and in real-time. This web-based system utilizes HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap and a MySQL database. The system's development follows the SDLC Waterfall method and involves black-box testing, UMUX, and qualitative testing to ensure the functionality and quality of the system.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, kemampuan berbahasa Inggris menjadi kebutuhan esensial bagi individu yang ingin berkompetisi di berbagai bidang. Be Communicative and Intelligent Learning Course (B-CIL Course) di Bandar Lampung, yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Rainbow Course, menawarkan kursus bahasa Inggris bertaraf internasional dengan kurikulum dari Singapura dan Australia. Meskipun B-CIL Course telah beroperasi sejak 2012, penggunaan sistem manual berbasis Microsoft Excel untuk pendataan siswa mengakibatkan berbagai masalah, seperti kehilangan data dan duplikasi informasi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, B-CIL Course merencanakan pengembangan aplikasi web yang mencakup fitur registrasi, dashboard siswa dan guru, serta pengelolaan data admin. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi data. Metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD) diterapkan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini, melalui tahapan perencanaan kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi akan membantu admin dalam mengelola data dengan lebih baik, serta memberikan kemudahan bagi guru dan siswa dalam mengakses informasi terkait jadwal dan tagihan. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini tidak hanya mendukung operasional yang lebih efisien, tetapi juga meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna bagi semua pihak terkait.

Abstract

The process of delivering student aspirations and complaints is one of the important aspects in enhancing the quality of education in higher education. One of them is the Faculty of Information Technology, Tarumanagara University, which is committed to providing high-quality academic and non-academic services. The current process of submitting aspirations and complaints is done manually because there is no centralized platform to collect complaint data, causing the handling of complaints to be hampered and less efficient. This research aims to analyze the design of a web-based student complaint information system in the FTI Untar environment to facilitate students in conveying aspirations and complaints. From the faculty side, this system also makes it easier to collect data on aspirations and complaints so they can respond to complaints more efficiently so as to improve the quality of education at FTI Untar. Data was gathered through a review of literature and interviews with FTI Untar stakeholders to collect and analyze user needs. System design analysis was conducted using UML (Unified Modeling Language) to visualize, design, and document various aspects of the system by describing use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams, which help map workflows, main functions, and relationships between system components comprehensively.

Abstract

Era digital telah banyak masyarakat yang beralih dengan teknologi baik segi bisnis usaha, kegiatan dan lain-lain. Dalam segi bisnis usaha banyak dari masyarakat Indonesia membuka toko dengan berbasis online melalui berbagai platform marketplace, salah satunya sepeti pada toko MINI SOP yang saat ini membangun bisnis usaha melalui platform tokopedia, shopee, lazada dan tiktok serta melayani penjualan dalam jumlah banyak (grosir) secara offline. Toko MINI SOP sendiri merupakan toko yang menjual perlengkapan yang dapat membantu keperluan ibu rumah tangga, salah satu contohnya seperti barang sutil silikon spatula yang dikategorikan sebagai perlengkapan dapur. Toko MINI SOP sering kali mengalami kenaikan penjualan pada masing-masing marketplace. Sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan dalam mengatur barang-barang yang dijual, kurangnya informasi barang masuk dan barang keluar (barang terjual) yang disebabkan karena masih menerapkan sistem manual seperti menggunakan perkiraan serta proses pemeriksaan pun dilakukan ketika fisik barang yang dijual terlihat sedikit, maka dari itu stok pada inventory khusunya barang pada MINI SOP kurang terstruktur. Dalam proses pembuatan aplikasi ini metode yang digunakan dalam membangun aplikasi adalah metode SDLC waterfall, serta menggunakan Next.js yang merupakan framework dari React.Js, dan juga Shadcn UI terutama pada komponen-komponen yang ada, serta style dari Tailwind CSS. Serta pada penyimpanan basis data dengan menggunakan PostgreSQL.

Abstract

Toko Nusantara merupakan sebuah toko bahan bangunan di Pematangsiantar, Sumatera Utara yang sudah berdiri sejak tahun 1993. Dari awal berdiri sampai dengan sekarang, Toko Nusantara masih mengandalkan sistem inventaris periodic yang dimana pencatatan stok barang akan dihitung di akhir bulan. Sistem pencatatan stok barang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan kehilangan data dikarenakan sistem pencatatan masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku. Sistem yang sudah berjalan selama bertahun-tahun ini, kerap menimbulkan kerugian dikarenakan sering terjadinya kendala seperti kekurangan atau kelebihan stok dikarenakan kesalahan pencatatan. Tujuan dari pembuatan skripsi ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi inventaris berbasis web yang dapat digunakan oleh Toko Nusantara untuk memudahkan dalam pencatatan barang, menyediakan informasi stok barang dengan real-time, mendigitalisasi data inventaris Toko Nusantara. Sedangkan manfaat yang diperoleh adalah meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan inventaris pada Toko Nusantara, mengurangi resiko kehilangan data yang dapat terjadi apabila bergantung pada media penyimpanan secara fisik seperti buku, mempermudah proses pencatatan dan pengawasan stok barang, dan Membantu pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi berbasis web ini dilakukan menggunakan metodologi System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu HTML, CSS, JavaScript, dan dengan menggunakan framework Next.js. Basis data yang digunakan untuk menyimpan data inventaris adalah MongoDB.

Abstract

Until now, many Indonesian people like soccer, both domestically and abroad. With so many football enthusiasts, people are becoming more active in finding news related to football. As time goes by, the amount of news circulating on the internet will also be more and more widespread. The large number of news makes the news need to be clustered or clustered to make it easier to access existing news. The website created is intended to group soccer news from several websites, namely: vivagoal.com, goal.com and bolasport.com. The method used on this sbobet is handicap to group news into clusters, then the method used to evaluate the quality of the clusters formed is the Silhouette coefficient method. The Silhouette coefficient value is 0.54, which means that the quality of the cluster formed is moderate.
