Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani anak tunanetra di SLB Kota Pekanbaru. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru SLB Kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 9 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 9 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka diperoleh kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani anak tunanetra di SLB Kota Pekanbaru termasuk pada rentang nilai 81-100% atau dalam kategori sangat kuat dengan persentase sebesar 81.01%. Harapan penelitian ini adalah agar hasil yang diperoleh dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai pendekatan, strategi, dan metode yang paling efektif dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani bagi anak tunanetra di sekolah luar biasa (SLB). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih baik, khususnya dalam bidang olahraga bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus, guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan jasmani di SLB, khususnya di Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan kondisi fisik siswa ekstrakurikuler pencak silat tapak suci SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler pencak silat Tapak Suci SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir yang berjumlah 13 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kondisi fisik untuk pesilat yaitu tes leg dynamometer, tes sit up, tes push up, tes vertical jump, tes medicine ball throw, tes fleksometer dan tes lari 15 menit. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah menghitung kategori nilai kondisi fisik yang dimiliki oleh pesilat. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata nilai kondisi fisik yang telah dilakukan terhadap atlet diketahui bahwa hasil tingkat kemampuan kondisi fisik siswa ekstrakurikuler pencak silat tapak suci SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir adalah 4,3 terletak pada rentang 4,0-5,9 yang tergolong dalam kategori Cukup

Abstract

The physical education learning process can be defined as students' activities in receiving, understanding, and responding to material presented by the teacher. One form of activity rich in educational value is traditional games, which have been proven to contribute to children's intellectual and social development, as well as character formation. However, in the modern era, traditional games are increasingly marginalized and less familiar to students. Yet, traditional games are not only fun but also rich in values of cooperation, tolerance, self-confidence, and can increase learning motivation. This community service activity aims to reintroduce traditional games as a learning medium for Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) at Muhammadiyah 5 Elementary School in Pekanbaru. Traditional games possess high educational values, such as cooperation, sportsmanship, and physical fitness, but are increasingly marginalized by digital games. The activity methods included outreach, training, and the development of learning modules and video tutorials. The implementation results showed increased student participation and understanding of local cultural values through traditional game activities. This activity is expected to become a sustainable innovation in PJOK learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Teachers' beliefs and attitudes about teaching students with disabilities in a physical education setting are the most important factors in inclusive education, as teachers' attitudes directly influence success in learning. This study aimed to assess physical education teachers' beliefs and attitudes regarding teaching students with disabilities in inclusive primary schools. A qualitative approach was used with a sample of 12 physical education teachers from 24 inclusive education-provider schools in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observation checklists and analysed using content analysis. Findings showed significant variation in teachers' beliefs regarding the potential of students with disabilities in physical education. While some teachers showed a strong belief in the abilities of these students, others remained sceptical. In addition, some teachers were more confident in teaching students with mild disabilities compared to students with more severe disabilities. These findings underline the importance of improving teachers' understanding of the potential of students with disabilities in the context of physical education. This research contributes to a better understanding of physical education teachers' perspectives on inclusive education, which serves as a basis for improving training and support strategies for teachers who face challenges in teaching students with diverse disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers' perceptions of inclusive physical education in Pekanbaru City and the identity of the factors that influence their perceptions from a socio-cultural perspective. This research is qualitative. The research subjects recruited were physical education teachers in Pekanbaru City. The selection of participants is based on two criteria: (i) teachers who have earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and (ii) teachers who teach students with disabilities in public and private junior high schools. Based on these criteria, only five physical education teachers were found. Individual interviews were conducted with each teacher. Deductive and inductive analysis processes are used to organize and report the data. The results showed that teachers believed general physical education classes were a good place to develop students with disabilities. Teachers realize that students with disabilities can have equal opportunities to participate in general physical education programs and develop social skills. Although the teachers recognized these benefits, they also expressed concern about the instructional and environmental barriers to the inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream sports programs. Future research should address the importance of teachers' beliefs and practices about effective teaching in inclusive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of team sports activities on improving social skills and mental health of elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the view that physical education does not only focus on developing physical abilities, but also plays an important role in character formation, social skills, and psychological well-being of students. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects consisted of 30 students of Muhammadiyah 5 Elementary School, Pekanbaru, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included a social skills observation sheet and a mental health questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using a Paired Sample t-test to compare the results before and after treatment. The results showed a significant increase in social skills (from an average of 65.2 to 82.6) and mental health (from an average of 63.5 to 80.4) with a p-value <0.01. These findings prove that participation in team sports activities can improve students' ability to work together, interpersonal communication, and psychological well-being. Thus, the integration of team sports activities in physical education learning can be an effective strategy in forming students' social and mental character holistically.

Abstract

Background: Job satisfaction among physical education (PE) teachers is a critical factor influencing instructional quality, work motivation, and long-term professional commitment. However, there is currently no comprehensive and standardized instrument specifically designed to measure the job satisfaction of PE teachers within the Indonesian context. Research Objective: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian Physical Education Teacher Job Satisfaction Scale (IPET-JSS), an adapted and contextually modified version of Spector’s Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS), tailored specifically for PE teachers in Indonesia. Method: A cross-sectional quantitative survey design was employed. A total of 300 PE teachers from primary, junior secondary, and senior/vocational high schools—both public and private—in Bengkulu City participated. The IPET-JSS comprises 36 items across nine dimensions (pay, promotion, supervision, fringe benefits, contingent rewards, operating procedures, coworkers, nature of work, and communication), rated on a 6-point Likert scale. Construct validity was assessed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and reliability was examined via Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability (CR). Finding/Results: All items showed factor loadings above 0.50. The Cronbach’s alpha for each dimension ranged from 0.75 to 0.86, and CR values exceeded 0.70, indicating strong internal consistency. Coworkers and Nature of Work were the highest-rated dimensions, while Pay and Operating Procedures received the lowest scores. The CFA results supported a good model fit (CFI > 0.90; RMSEA < 0.08), affirming the structural validity of the IPET-JSS. Conclusion: The IPET-JSS is a psychometrically sound instrument for assessing job satisfaction among Indonesian PE teachers. It holds promise for use in both research and practice, particularly in teacher evaluation, educational policy development, and professional development planning. Future studies are recommended to explore its cross-contextual validity and associations with other psychosocial constructs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasiskan kurikulum merdeka. Guru mempunyai kompetensi paedagogik akan dapat menjalankan tugas dan fungsi sebagai guru profesional dan menjadi kunci utama kesuksesan para peserta didik. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al Anuar Al Amansyah Kecamatan Kuala Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan dengan peserta pelatihan terdiri dari guru MA, MTs Kuala Kampar, SMPN 01 Kuala Kampar Kecamatan Kabupaten Pelalawan berjumlah 14 orang. Materi pelatihan tentang pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran yaitu kompetensi mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka.  Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi pemberdayaan seperti tanya jawab dan praktek. Respon guru dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan ini sangat baik, mereka membutuhkan pelatihan ini.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide training to physical education teachers in Kuantan Singingi district in the application of the character-based Jasamani education learning model when learning physical education in schools. So that the implementation of the K13 curriculum in schools goes well and the role of a physical education teacher in the future will be in handling the character of students to be better and to educate people who have the character of the qarimah. Activities include training in the application of physical education learning models to physical education teachers in Kuantan Regency. This activity was carried out at SMA N Pintar of Kuantan Bay, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The activity was attended by 35 high school level physical education teachers who are equal in the Kuantan Singingi Kabutapan. The results of this activity are very good because it is very helpful to the knowledge of high school physical education teachers in the application of learning models that must be realized in the K13 curriculum.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pola hidup sehat, pengetahuan cara berolahraga dan memberikan pengetahuan asupan gizi yang baik selama pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Masyarakat desa Pancuran Gading, Kampar yang berjumlah bekisar 25-40 orang. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat Desa Pancuran Gading, Kampar ini antara lain: Tahap pertama adalah perkenalan. Tahap ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengenalkan masing-masing tim pengabdian dan mitra dalam kegiatan ini. Sehingga dengan saling mengenal satu sama lain diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat berjalan dengan baik lancar. Tahap kedua adalah sosialisasi. Tahap ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengertian, pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pola hidupsehat dengan olahraga dan asupan gizi untuk meningkatkan imun tubuh menghadapi covid-19. Tahap ketiga adalah evaluasi. Tahap ini dilaksanakan untuk mengevaluasi jalannya kegiatan. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sesi tanya jawab kepada masyarakat yang mengikuti sosialisasi pengabdian dari awal hingga akhir yang kurang paham dan mengerti. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari seluruh masyarakat yang hadir pada saat itu. Hal ini dikarenakan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka serta menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan untuk masyarakat desa Pancuran Gading, Kampar
