Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model combined with the traditional game Engklek influences the formation of global diversity character for fourth grade elementary school students in Gugus 6 Sawan District by choosing Pancasila Education subjects. The method used in this research is quasiexperiment with post-test only control group design. The study population consisted of fourth grade students at SDN Gugus 6 Sawan District. The experimental group consisted of 27 students from class IV SDN 4 Sangsit and the control group consisted of 19 students from class IV SDN 7 Sangsit. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires, while data analysis techniques include content validity tests, descriptive analysis, normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and effect size. The t-test results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, with an average learning attitude of the experimental group of 70.93 and the control group (70.93>64.79). This means that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by the Engklek game has a positive effect on the global diversity character of fourth grade students of SDN Gugus 6 Sawan District in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbentuk Flipbook Satua Bali I Lutung teken I Kakua bagi siswa kelas III SD Negeri 1 Selat, yang mengintegrasikan literasi numerasi dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Pendekatan yang dipakai ialah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) atas model ADDIE yang mencakup tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, serta Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga ahli (media, bahasa, dan materi), dua guru kelas, serta enam siswa. Flipbook dikembangkan menggunakan Canva dan Flip PDF Corporate, menyajikan cerita berbahasa Bali dengan narasi suara, soal-soal matematika terkait operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan, kuis evaluasi, serta lagu anak-anak Bali sebagai ice breaking. Hasil validasi memperlihatkan bahwasanya media ini sangat valid, atas skor validitas media 0,92, bahasa 0,88, dan materi 0,9. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan sangat tinggi, yakni 97% dari guru dan 98% dari siswa. Dengan demikian, Flipbook ini dikatakan sangat valid juga praktis dipakai dalam pembelajaran matematika pada kelas III SD Negeri 1 Selat.

Abstract

This study examines the low level of science literacy among students, which is due to teacher-centered science education dominated by lecture methods, a lack of student motivation and engagement, and a lack of student focus during learning. This study examines the effect of the Discovery learning model, assisted by Google Sites, on science education and its impact on the science literacy of fifth-grade students. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The study population consisted of 232 fifth-grade students from SDN Gugus 1 in Buleleng District. Through a lottery, the sample was randomly selected, with SDN 2 Anturan selected as the experimental group of 34 students and SDN 3 Kalibukbuk selected as the control group of 33 students. Data were collected through essay tests. Additionally, data was collected through documentation. The tests were then validated for validity, reliability, and difficulty level. Descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test) were used for data analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value (34.522 > 1.669), indicating a significant difference in science literacy between the two groups. Therefore, there was a significant difference in science literacy among IPAS students who were taught using the discovery learning model with Google Sites compared to those who were not.
