Abstract

The integration of digital technology in elementary education has become essential to enhance learning quality in the digital era. However, classroom practices remain predominantly conventional, limiting student engagement and higher-order thinking development. This study aims to systematically analyze the effectiveness and pedagogical implications of interactive multimedia as a learning innovation tool in elementary schools. This research employed a structured literature review by analyzing ten peer-reviewed articles published between 2022–2026, selected through databases such as Google Scholar and national indexed journals (SINTA). The inclusion criteria focused on empirical studies examining interactive multimedia in elementary education, while irrelevant and non-peer- reviewed sources were excluded. Data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that interactive multimedia significantly improves learning motivation, student engagement, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, digital literacy, and academic achievement. Furthermore, interactive multimedia provides visual and experiential learning environments aligned with students’ cognitive development. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative synthesis across multiple multimedia forms and subjects, offering a comprehensive framework for understanding effectiveness patterns and design implications. However, its implementation is influenced by instructional design quality, teacher digital competence, and technological infrastructure. Therefore, interactive multimedia should be positioned not only as a technological tool but as a pedagogical strategy for enhancing elementary education in the digital era.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Gugus IX Kecamatan Buleleng masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional maka sangat berdampak pada siswa, siswa menjadi kurang efektif, merasa bosan dan cepat jenuh jika dalam proses pembelajaran hanya menggunakan model konvesional. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang bagaimana pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video animasi pada pembelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar Gugus IX Kecamatan Buleleng. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video animasi pada pembelajaran IPAS dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari penyebaran pretest dan posttest dan teknik yang digunakan mengambil sampel adalah random sampling.Sedangkan sampel menggunakan kelas IV SDN 2 Poh Bergong (kelas eksperimen) berjumlah 26 siswa dan kelas IV SDN 2 Jinengdalem (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik analisis deskriptif digunakan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen (90,46) dan nilai rata rata posttest kelas kontrol (75,12) yakni pada pembelajaran IPAS menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa lebih meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari pada nilai kelas kontrol. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran IPAS di SDN Gugus IX Kecamatan Buleleng terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

: This research aims to produce interactive learning media in the form of learning poetry media assisted by Google Sites for material on Mutual Cooperation in the Environment Around Me in the class V Pancasila Education subject in Gugus VII Buleleng District that is valid and practical. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE (Analyze Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) development design. The ADDIE model is used until the Develop stage. This research also uses a questionnaire to obtain data about the level of validity of learning media. This questionnaire was completed by three experts consisting of material experts, language experts and media experts. The research results show that the learning poetry media assisted by Google Sites obtained a score of 0.90 out of the total scores given by the three experts. The practicality test also used a questionnaire with respondents consisting of 3 fifth grade teachers. The practicality results obtained an average of 0.92 with very high validity. From these results, research and development on learning poetry media assisted by Google Sites for Mutual Cooperation in the Environment Around Me material in Pancasila Education subjects was categorized as very valid, practical and suitable for use.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has advanced rapidly, providing intelligent and efficient solutions to various societal challenges across different aspects of life, including education. AI has introduced numerous innovative breakthroughs in the education sector, such as text-to-video technology, AI-generated questions and quizzes, and AI-assisted foreign language learning. These advancements have made teaching and learning processes significantly easier for both educators and students. The types of AI technologies used in education include ChatGPT, voice assistants, smart content, presentation translators, and virtual mentors. The use of AI technology creates both opportunities and challenges. The opportunities include improving feedback and evaluation in education, enhancing access to educational resources for students, supporting independent learning, and fostering better understanding among learners. However, these opportunities come with challenges such as dependence on AI technology, ethical and legal violations due to AI plagiarism, and technological limitations that may pose risks to the future of education. Therefore, the roles of governments, teachers, and parents are crucial in preparing students to use AI technology wisely.

Abstract

Teknologi AI telah berkembang dengan sangat pesat, sebab kehadirannya pada beragam aspek kehidupan banyak memberikan solusi cerdas dan efisien yang mampu mengatasi berbagai tantangan di masyarakat. Termasuk juga pada aspek pendidikan. Teknologi AI telah memperkenalkan banyak terobosan inovatif pada bidang pendidikan, contohnya, seperti teknologi untuk mengubah teks menjadi video, menyusun soal dan kuis AI, pembelajaran bahasa asing AI. Maka tak heran bila guru dan pelajar merasakan kemudahannya dari segi pengajaran hingga pembelajaran. Adapun jenis-jenis teknoogi AI yang digunakan dalam pendidikan yakni ChatGPT, asisten suara, smart content, presentation translator, dan mentor virtual. Dari penggunaan teknologi AI menimbulkan peluang serta tantangan yang perlu dihadapi. Peluang-peluang yang dimaksudkan yaitu teknologi AI meningkatkan umpan balik dan evaluasi dalam pendidikan, AI meningkatkan akses ke sumber pendidikan bagi peserta didik, AI juga membantu peserta didik melakukan pembelajaran mandiri, dan teknologi AI ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Dan dari peluang tersebut tak dapat dipungkiri munculnya tantangan-tantangan seperti ketergantungan terhadap teknologi AI, terjadinya pelanggaran etika dan hukum karena plagiarisme AI, hingga keterbatasan teknologi juga menjadi tantangan yang mungkin bisa menjadi bumerang bagi dunia pendidikan di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, peran dari pemerintah, guru, serta orangtua sangatlah diperlukan untuk menyiapkan kesiapan pelajar dalam menggunakan teknologi AI dengan bijak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of life-based digital media in Pancasila Education learning among elementary school students in the era of globalization. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, with analysis grounded in Media Richness Theory (MRT), which emphasizes the effectiveness of media in conveying information through message clarity, interactivity, and the ability to reduce ambiguity. Data were collected through interviews and observations in the elementary school setting. The findings indicate that digital media, such as interactive learning videos and simulations, possess a high level of media richness, thereby enhancing students’ understanding, motivation, and engagement. Additionally, such media facilitate the connection between learning materials and real-life contexts, supporting the contextual internalization of Pancasila values. However, its implementation still faces challenges related to teacher readiness, the availability of facilities, and instructional planning. This study contributes to strengthening the application of Media Richness Theory in life-based Pancasila Education learning, suggesting that the use of digital media can serve as an effective strategy to improve the quality of learning and reinforce students’ character development in elementary schools.
