Abstract

This study is entitled "The Effect of Dosage of Chicken Cage fertilizers on the growth and results of the onional plant (Allium Ascalonicum L)". The needs of society against onions will continue to increase along with the increase in the population. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of dose of chicken cage fertilizer against growth and results of onion crops. This study uses randomized design (RAK) and was conducted on June 05 until 26 August 2021 consisting of 6 treatment and each treatment was repeat 4, thereby 24 experimental units. P0 = No cockpils of chicken, P1 = 3t/ha chicken chief fertilizer, P2 = 6t/ha pink cage fertilizer, P3 = 9t/ha pink sufferell, P4 = 12t /ha pink feather cake, p5 = 15t/ha chicken cage fertilizer. The treatment of chicken coexisthood is a real effect of parameters of the number of leaves and influentials are very real to the high plant (cm), the number of per cent plates (bh), the amount of tubers per plant (bh), fresh weight of the plant (g), dry weight of ginnous per bamps per plant. (G), and dry weight obs burnt per plant (g) and dosage of dye of chicken cage fever 12 t/ha gives the growth and best results to fresh weight of tuling per plant, 55.88 g, dry weight of burnt per gulf plant is 52.30 g and dry weight of obs bulbers 27.59 g

Abstract

Jeruk siam adalah komoditas hortikultura penting dan bernilai ekonomis. Mitra pengabdian masyarakat adalah Kelompok Tani Tegal Sari di Desa Awan, Kecamatan Kintamani, Provinsi Bali yang Bertani jeruk Siam. Mitra memiliki masalah produktivitas rendah pada budidaya buah jeruk Siam akibat serangan penyakit busuk batang (Botryodiplodia theobromae). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan pengetahuan dan mendampingi  mitra desa Awan dalam mengetahui gejala, tanda dan jenis-jenis penyakit diplodia serta memberikan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit busuk batang pada tanaman jeruk Siam. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan mitra desa Awan terhadap gejala, tanda dan jenis-jenis penyakit diplodia serta memberikan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit busuk batang pada tanaman jeruk Siam. Juga, mitra dapat menambah peralatan pengendalian penyakit untuk pertanian jeruk Siam. Siamese orange is an important horticultural commodity and has economic value. The community service partner was the Tegal Sari Farmers Group in Awan Village, Kintamani District, Bali Province. Mitra has a problem of low productivity in Siam citrus fruit cultivation due to stem rot disease (Botryodiplodia theobromae). This community service activity aims to introduce knowledge and assist Awan village partners in knowing the symptoms, signs and types of diplodia disease and provide efforts to prevent and control stem rot disease in Siam citrus plants. The results of the community service activities showed an increase in the knowledge of Awan village partners regarding the symptoms, signs and types of diplodia disease and provided efforts to prevent and control stem rot disease in Siam citrus plants. Also, partners can add disease control equipment to Siam citrus farms.

Abstract

Penangann sampah selama ini yang sudah dilakukan yaitu dikumpulkan, diangkut lalu dibuang harus diubah dengan cara memilah dan mengolah sampah di sumbernya. Desa Adat berperan aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah yang dapat dilakukan dengan menyusun awig-awig/perarem Program ini bertujuan untuk mengolah sampah menjadi barang berguna dengan membuat pupuk organik. Oleh Karena itu, perlu dilakukan demonstrasi dengan menggunakan limbah rumah tangga sebagai molasenya dan bagaimana aplikasinya di Banjar Kaja, Kelurahan Sesetan. Peserta kegiatan sebanyak 67 orang warga Banjar Kaja Kelurahan Sesetan. Metode pelaksanaan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan berupa ceramah, penyajian bahan peraga, gambar-gambar atau spesimen. Selanjutnya, praktek lapangan agar peserta menjadi terampil untuk mengenal berbagai jenis sampah yang bisa dipakai sebagai pupuk. Setelah dilakukan program pengabdian masyarakat, ditemukan bahwa pemilahan sampah masyarakat di Banjar Kaja Kelurahan Sesetan sebelum diadakan pelatihan sebenarnya sudah cukup baik, akan tetapi mereka belum sepenuhnya mau mengolah sampah tersebut menjadi barang yang berharga, sehingga setiap hari gundukan sampah di TPA semakin menggunung. Secara bertahap pola pikir masyarakat harus diubah sehingga sampah bukan barang yang menjijikkan tapi sampah adalah merupakan barang yang sangat berharga dan mempunyai nilai jual yang tinggi dan ramah lingkungan

Abstract

Entrepreneurship merupakan orang yang berani membuka kegiatan produktif yang mandiri. Dimana pada masa pandemic covid-19 diharapkan PKK dapat menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat. Masyarakat sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah pengurus PKK Kota Tabanan di Desa Bongan, Sudimara, Tunjuk, Delod Peken, Dajan Peken, Denbantas, Wanasari dan Buahan. Total peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 24 peserta (Ketua, Sekretaris dan Bendahara Kelompok). Solusi dari permasalahan PKK dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, yaitu: memberikan penyuluhan dan pengetahuan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam ekonomi kreatif, penyuluhan dan pengetahuan protokol kesehatan selama pandemic covid-19, pelatihan manajemen biaya dan manajemen pemasaran untuk produk kue pie susu. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah memberikan pengetahuan serta keterampilan bagi pengurus PKK di Kota Tabanan. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan penyuluhan, Pengurus PKK sudah bisa mengetahui kegiatan ekonomi kreatif yang dapat dikembangkan didaerahnya. Pengurus PKK juga diberikan pengetahuan dalam protokol kesehatan dalam mencegah penyebaran pandemic covid-19. Secara umum pengurus PKK yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan respon yang baik dan aktif selama kegiatan ini berlangsung. Pada akhir pelatihan dan penyuluhan, pengurus PKK mengetahui biaya-biaya dan efesiensi pemasaran pada proses pengolahan kue pie susu

Abstract

Brassica juncea L. or commonly called mustard greens is one of the most popular types of vegetables in Indonesia, because this mustard is one of the varieties that contain various health benefits. This study aims to determine "Response of Growth and Yield of Green Mustard (Brassica Juncea L.) due to the application of cow manure and cow biourine". The method used is a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with factorial treatment with 2 treatment factors. Factor 1: Dosage of cow manure with 5 levels, namely K0 (without cow manure), K1 (cow manure 30 g / 10 kg of soil), K2 (cow manure 60g / 10 kg of soil), K3 (cow manure) 90 g / 10 kg of soil), and K4 (cattle manure 120 g / 10 kg of soil). Factor 2: the concentration of cow biourine with 5 levels, namely B0 (without cow biorine), B1 (cow biorine 80 ml / 1 liter of water), B2 (bovine biorine 160 ml / 1 liter of water), B3 (cow biorine 240 ml / 1 liter water), and B4 (beef biorine 320 ml/1 liter of water). The results showed that the treatment with doses of 120 g / 10 kg of soil (K4) gave the best growth compared to other treatment with doses of manure for all observation parameters such as plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf area. (cm²), total plant fresh weight (g), total plant oven dry weight (g), fresh weight without plant roots (g), and oven dry weight without plant roots (g). as well as the treatment with 320 ml / 1 liter of water (B4) concentration of cow biourine

Abstract

Red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is a plant that has high economic value compared to several other types of spinach. This can be seen from the high demand for this vegetable in several supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. Based on the climatological aspect, the Indonesian region is very suitable for red spinach cultivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the type of planting media on the growth and yield of red spinach plants and to determine which plant media provided the best growth and yield of red spinach plants. This study used randomized block design (RBD) research method using various kinds of organic fertilizers, namely goat manure with 6 levels K0 (without fertilizer), K1 (10 g goat manure/10 kg of soil), K2 (20 g goat manure)/10 kg of soil), K3 (30 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil), K4 (40 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil), and K5 (50 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil). Plant height, number of leaves, root length, leaf area, total fresh weight of plants, total dry weight of plants The results of goat manure application had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, total fresh weight of plants, weight total crop oven dry The application of goat manure 8 to / ha and 10 / ha gave the best results on total plant fresh weight of 22.17 g and 26.245 g total crop oven dry weight of 4.322 g and 5.342 g

Abstract

Meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman padi merupakan kunci dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional. Salah satu hambatan utama dalam pertanian padi adalah serangan tikus (Rattus argentiventer), yang menjadi hama paling berbahaya dengan kerusakan yang signifikan. Kelompok mitra menghadapi kegagalan panen lebih dari 50% karena beberapa faktor, antara lain kurangnya pengendalian tikus secara menyeluruh, pemupukan tanah yang tidak optimal, kurangnya sanitasi lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta absennya manajemen risiko kegagalan panen. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui penerapan pengendalian hama terpadu dalam rangka mendukung pertanian ramah lingkungan untuk meningkatkan produksi padi di Subak Uma Jero, Desa Taman Bali, Kabupaten Bangli. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah transfer pengetahuan berbasis participatory action program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pengendalian hama tikus dengan rodentisida nabati, perbaikan kesuburan tanah dengan pupuk organik, penerapan sanitasi lingkungan, serta manajemen risiko kegagalan panen. Program pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kelembagaan mitra dengan prinsip green economy yang tidak hanya menekankan pada keberlanjutan, tetapi juga pertumbuhan inklusif, di mana pelestarian lingkungan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat berjalan beriringan

Abstract

Rice stunt disease is one of the causes of rice harvest failure. It is caused by the infection of Rice ragged stunt virus (RRSV) and Rice grassy stunt virus (RGSV) infection. Information about disease severity and the molecular characteristics of stunt viruses in Indonesia is still limited. Thus, this research aimed to determine the disease severity and the genetic diversity of rice stunt viruses in Gianyar, Bali. The research method consisted of observation of incidence and disease severity in the field and virus detection by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) using primers specific for RRSV and RGSV. The observation of the disease incidence and severity were performed in seven districts in Gianyar Regency, Bali, namely Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Payangan, Sukawati, Tampaksiring, Tegallalang, and Ubud. Stunt disease was found in all observation sites. High stunt disease incidence (> 44%) was found in three districts: Ubud, Tampaksiring, and Payangan, while the low disease incidence rate of <10% was found in Blahbatuh and Gianyar Districts. The highest stunt disease severity occurred in Tampaksiring District (60.82%), while the lowest severity occurred in Gianyar District (18.84%). The IR-64 and Ciherang cultivars are vulnerable to rice stunt disease infection. The highest homology of RRSV and RRGV nucleotides was found with Vietnam isolates being >98% and >97%, respectively. The phylogenetic analysis showed that Indonesian isolates of RRSV and RGSV were clustered in the same group as Vietnam isolates.

Abstract

Bali Province is one of the local mango producers, namely Wani fruit. Wani fruit (Mangifera caesia) is a local Balinese fruit that has the potential to be developed. Wani fruit production in Bali has decreased due to fewer trees in community gardens. This study aims to determine the suitability of land for wani fruit plants on the slopes of Mount Batur Kintamani. Evaluation of land based on agroecological zones includes slope, drainage, humidity and temperature. Sampling used composite sampling based on agroecological zones and data analysis using descriptive and comparative methods. The results of research on the suitability of Wani fruit land in Kintamani show three classes, namely moderately suitable (CS), marginally suitable (SM), and not suitable (TS) with the main limiting factors being slope, texture, temperature, effective depth and rainfall. Based on the results of research on the Kintamani area, Mount Batur is suitable for the development of Wani Fruit in Bali. Primarily for Horticultural and Conservation purposes for the protection of local species. Based on agroecological zones, the land area in the Kintamani Bali area that can be developed for Wani fruit plants are zones I, II and III with an area of 21,476 Ha, which is 58.53% of the area of Kintamani. The distribution of agroecological zones suitable for the development of Wani fruit in zone I and II land units is predominantly spread in residential plain areas, and land units in zone III are spread in hilly areas.

Abstract

Celery (Apium graveolens) is a high-value vegetable crop in Indonesia, favored by many consumers. However, its production remains relatively low due to suboptimal cultivation techniques. One contributing factor is the lack of appropriate fertilization practices, which directly affect plant growth and yield. This study aimed to (1) evaluate the effect of bokashi fertilizer on the growth of celery plants and (2) determine the optimal dose of bokashi fertilizer for enhancing celery growth and yield. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with six treatment levels: no fertilizer (P0), bokashi at 5 tons/ha (P1), 10 tons/ha (P2), 15 tons/ha (P3), 20 tons/ha (P4), and 25 tons/ha (P5), each replicated four times for a total of 24 experimental units. The results indicated that bokashi fertilizer significantly influenced all measured growth parameters, including plant height (cm), number of leaves, root length (cm), total fresh weight (g), and oven-dry weight (g). Among the treatments, the application of 75 g of bokashi per 10 kg of soil produced the best results across all observed variables. These findings suggest that the appropriate use of bokashi fertilizer can substantially improve the growth and productivity of celery plants in Indonesia.
