Abstract

The use of technology has the potential to build more intensive learning and make it easier for teachers to carry out student learning assessments. The present study was aimed to analyze the extent of the benefits of web-facilitated learning as a form of technology product to grow teacher skills incorrectly identifying basic competencies. This study surveyed the activities of the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Working Group (KKG) in Surabaya and analyzes it using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the use of web-based facilitated learning in this study is quite effective. This was based on five main factors, namely usability 83%, usefulness of content 86%, adequacy of information 87%, accessibility 82%, and interaction 81%. The total average score was 83% and shows very good quality. Several issues regarding the barriers to implementation were discussed.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a very important activity carried out by Indonesian people who have different beliefs and religious backgrounds. Religious leaders who are supported by the government are trying to prevent and anticipate radical and intolerance events in Indonesia. One of them is by holding interfaith religious moderation. The concept of moderate Islam is a religious perspective that is very relevant in the context of diversity in Indonesia. As a form of strengthening and strengthening the role of Madrasah Aliyah in countering radicalism and extremism, it is necessary to internalize religious moderation in the Madrasah Aliyah curriculum. Which aims to mediate these two extreme poles, by emphasizing the importance of substantively internalizing religious teachings on the one hand, and contextualizing religious texts on the other. To examine these problems, researchers used qualitative research methods. This type of research includes case study research, which is a qualitative research that seeks to find meaning, investigate processes, and gain deep understanding and understanding of individuals, groups, or situations. In analyzing the data, the researcher took the interactive model as the presentation. Activities in data analysis include data reduction, data presentation as well as drawing conclusions and, verification. The results of the study of religious moderation that were instilled in the students of MA Tahdzibun Nufus Jakarta were not in a formal atmosphere, inserted in every lesson. The factors that influence the religious moderation spirit of the students of MA Tahdzibun Nufus Jakarta are young people who think more modern according to their times, are involved in activities directly. The form of moderation practiced by the students of MA Tahdzibun Nufus Jakarta is giving each other advice between students, this practice raises concern among friends.

Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce as part of the broader digital transformation has introduced various new forms of transactions that were not explicitly recognized in classical Islamic jurisprudence. These include digital contracts, non-physical goods, cloud-based services, and electronic payment systems. Such innovations present a range of legal challenges, particularly concerning the validity of contracts, the legal status of digital products, the permissibility and security of electronic payment methods, and the protection of consumers in online transactions. To address these challenges, Islamic scholars have increasingly turned to ijtihad the process of independent reasoning and interpretation—as a methodology capable of providing legal solutions for contemporary issues. This study employs a qualitative approach, primarily through literature review, to examine the foundational principles of ijtihad, various methodological tools, and their applicability to different aspects of e-commerce transactions. The findings demonstrate that ijtihad methods, including qiyās (analogical reasoning), istislāh (consideration of public interest), istihsān (juridical preference), and ‘urf (customary practice), enable Islamic law to remain adaptive and flexible, while still oriented toward justice and public welfare. By applying these methods, Islamic jurisprudence can provide legal certainty, uphold fairness, and ensure that e-commerce practices align with Shariah principles, ultimately fostering trust and ethical behavior in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of taqwa values in strengthening work ethic using a literature review method. Taqwa values are spiritual and moral principles that form the basis of a Muslim's behavior in daily life, especially in the aspect of work. Using the literature review method, this study collected various references such as the Qur'an, Hadith, major classical works, and contemporary literature on work ethics. The value of taqwa serves as a spiritual foundation that shapes moral awareness, discipline, and integrity in a person. When this value is instilled, it manifests in a stronger work ethic, characterized by intrinsic motivation, professionalism, and dedication to quality and responsibility. The work ethic built from these spiritual values then plays a direct role in improving performance, as individuals work with greater focus, responsibility, and maintain high ethical standards. Therefore, this conceptual model emphasizes that strengthening taqwa is an important element in creating a professional work ethic, which ultimately improves the effectiveness and quality of performance in the modern workplace.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence) telah sepenuhnya mengubah cara pembelajaran dilakukan di pendidikan tinggi melalui sistem akademik otomatis dan platform pengetahuan digital. Meskipun AI menawarkan efisiensi dan aksesibilitas, teknologi ini juga menghadirkan kekhawatiran etis terkait integritas akademik dan ketergantungan intelektual. Penelitian ini menilai persepsi etis mahasiswa mengenai penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan tinggi berdasarkan kerangka maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, khususnya pemeliharaan akal (ḥifẓ al-ʿaql). Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa umumnya melihat AI sebagai sesuatu yang bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, muncul kekhawatiran etis penting terkait ketergantungan berlebihan pada AI, penurunan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keluaran yang bias, serta ancaman terhadap kejujuran akademik. Tata kelola institusional dinilai sebagai salah satu dimensi yang paling kuat didukung, yang berarti bahwa mahasiswa mengharapkan universitas menjadi pihak utama dalam mengatur penggunaan AI secara etis. Kesadaran etika Islam memang ada, tetapi masih kurang diterapkan secara sistematis dalam praktik akademik sehari-hari. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan mendesak untuk melembagakan tata kelola etis berbasis maqāṣid dalam pendidikan tinggi. Studi ini merekomendasikan dua hal: memasukkan literasi etika Islam ke dalam kurikulum dan menetapkan kebijakan akademik yang jelas untuk memastikan penggunaan AI yang bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai akhlak serta motivasi belajar siswa dalam sistem pembelajaran adaptif berbasis deep learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap siswa dan guru PAI. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diperkuat dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran adaptif berbasis deep learning berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai akhlak siswa melalui pembiasaan ibadah, refleksi, dan pengalaman belajar bermakna. Selain itu, pendekatan ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar intrinsik siswa serta mendorong perubahan perilaku positif, seperti peningkatan kontrol diri dan sikap saling menghargai.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the process and implications of the educational process of religious moderation, so that it can be used as an evaluation and as a basis for better education. The research method used in this research is qualitative and with a descriptive analytic approach. The results of this study show that innovation in religious moderation education is found in the principal's policies, curriculum, habituation programs, and activities outside of learning such as extracurricular activities, commemoration of Islamic holidays, and other religious activities by mainstreaming the principles of religious moderation, namely tawassuth, ta'adul, and tawazun.

Abstract

This research examines the significance of religion as a moral foundation in addressing social challenges faced by Muslims in contemporary Indonesia. The study aims to explore how Islamic principles influence ethical conduct, foster social responsibility, and strengthen community engagement amid rapid modernization, technological development, and cultural globalization. Data were obtained through qualitative methods, including literature analysis, semi-structured interviews, and direct observation of community activities. The results indicate that adherence to Islamic teachings plays a crucial role in guiding moral choices, enhancing social solidarity, and offering practical solutions to ethical dilemmas in daily life. The research further emphasizes the importance of religious education, moral awareness, and active participation in community initiatives to reinforce ethical resilience. In conclusion, Islam functions not only as a source of spiritual guidance but also as a practical framework for moral orientation, providing both ethical guidance and social stability for Indonesian Muslims navigating complex contemporary societal issues.

Abstract

This study examines Islamic work ethic as a form of amal saleh, reflecting obedience, responsibility, and professionalism of Muslims. Using library research and qualitative analysis, the study reviews books, journals, and scholarly articles. Findings indicate that Islamic work ethic emphasizes honesty, discipline, trustworthiness (amanah), professionalism (itqan), sincerity (ikhlas), independence, and diligence. Its application in education, family, and workplace settings enhances productivity, integrity, social responsibility, and shapes quality character beneficial to society. The study provides guidance for educators, parents, and professionals to cultivate an effective Islamic work ethic that is both productive and considered an act of worship.

Abstract

This study investigates the Qur’an as a central foundation in the formation of Islamic civilization by highlighting its role in guiding moral conduct, shaping intellectual traditions, and directing social development. The objective of this research is to clarify how Qur’anic teachings can be reinterpreted and implemented to support the advancement of a modern society that upholds ethical values and scientific growth. The research employs a descriptive qualitative design through an extensive review of literature, including scholarly publications on Islamic civilization, Qur’anic thought, and universal ethical frameworks. The findings indicate that the Qur’an has historically encouraged intellectual exploration, the establishment of social norms, and the development of moral awareness through an integrative epistemology that unites revelation, reason, and empirical observation. Furthermore, the Qur’an provides principles that remain relevant in addressing contemporary global issues such as justice, coexistence, and human dignity. The study concludes that contextualizing Qur’anic values through an integrative approach can offer a constructive framework for building a modern civilization that harmonizes technological progress with ethical responsibility. The proposed framework underscores the need to align Qur’anic principles with present-day societal challenges.
