Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi terhadap pembelajaran bioteknologi berbasis bioentrepreneurship. Studi ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dimana responden adalah 56 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi di Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup dengan skala Guttman dan yang telah divalidasi (validasi ahli). Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji Kruskal Wallis. Hasil studi yaitu (1) persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi di Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika terhadap pembelajaran bioteknologi berbasis bioentrepreneurship adalah sangat baik dengan rincian persentase pesepsi mahasiswa semester II sebesar 67,5%, semester IV sebesar 82,5%, semester VI sebesar 96,9%, dan semester VIII sebesar 90%; (2) hasil uji kruskal wallis dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 lebih kecil dari nilai alpha pengujian alpha pengujian (>0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi terhadap pembelajaran bioteknologi berbasis bioentrepreneurship.

Abstract

this study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture by using the media flashcard can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics class VIIA SMPN 3 Sikur the academic year 2016/2017 in the subject matter fractions. A common issue is the mathematics subjects are still considered abstract, and difficult. The use of the model and the use of media is less precise, less varied. Thus, the lack of attention that adversely affects the student learning outcomes. The use of appropriate methods and media are expected to improve learning outcomes. The use of the learning model type of picture and picture by using the media flashcard is one of the solutions offered to solve the problem. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Types of data used are: Qualitative sheet teacher observation and student observation sheet, quantitative data obtained from the results of student evaluation tests given at the end of each cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, where the results of the first cycle with the classical percentage of 70% and the second cycle peresentase by 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture by using the media flashcard can improve student learning outcomes class VIIA SMPN 3 Sikur in Academic Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

The subjects of this study are students of class VIII A which amounted to 35 people. This classroom action research consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the result of observation analysis of student activity on cycle I meeting I got total score and average as much 37 and 2.31 categorized "Simply Active", meeting II increased to 42 and 2,63 "Active" category. While in the second cycle of meeting I the total score and the average of 48 and 3.00 categorized "Active", at the second meeting increased to 60 and 3.75 with the category "Highly Active". For the results of the analysis of teacher activity in the first cycle of meeting I obtained the total score and the average of 16 and 3.20, the second meeting increased to 18 and 3.60 with the category "Good". While in the second cycle of meeting I obtained the total score and the average of 19 and 3.80, the second meeting increased to 20 and 4.00 with the category of "Very Good". Furthermore, the students' classical learning completeness in the first cycle is 51.43% and in cycle II increases to 85.71%. So it can be concluded that the implementation of active learning model type Everyone Is A Teacher Here can improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sakra Barat lesson 2016/2017.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII MTsN 1 Bima pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan pokok bahasan luas dan keliling persegi panjang dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran power point. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Bima dengan mengambil 5 siswa sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes evaluasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data aktivitas siswa. Indikator keberhasilan ditetapkan jika nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen meningkat dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol.hasil Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar Matematika mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini signifikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa, dengan skor rata-rata 82,7 pada aktivitas yang dikategorikan sangat aktif dan hasil pemahaman konsep siswa pada ketuntasan klasikal kelas kontrol tidak tuntas dan pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang klasikal 100 %. Selain itu dari data observasi yang diperoleh sebelum tindakan diberikan siswa terlihat kurang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran lebih didominasi oleh guru setelah tindakan diberikan, siswa terlihat aktif baik saat kegiatan tanya jawab maupun saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. . yaitu ketuntasan klasikal 100%.Selain itu dari data observasi yang diperoleh sebelum tindakan diberikan siswa terlihat kurang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran lebih didominasi oleh guru setelah tindakan diberikan, siswa terlihat aktif baik saat kegiatan tanya jawab maupun saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. . yaitu ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Abstract

The learning of introductory mathematics courses in the Undikma FSTT Mathematics Education Study program has so far been carried out in a monotonous manner. The lecturer explains the material, gives examples of questions, and gives exercises. The impact is the low achievement of student learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the application of drill and practice learning with projects. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection was carried out by evaluating student learning outcomes. The results of the study obtained an average score of student learning outcomes reaching 89.2% in the Very Good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Drill and Practice Learning with Projects able to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21, terutama kemampuan berpikir kreatif, proyek pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mendampingi penerapan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis prinsip deep learning bagi guru di SMPN 1 Narmada. Intervensi dilakukan melalui dua fase: pelatihan tatap muka (in-service) dan pendampingan jarak jauh (on-service). Pada fase in-service, 60 guru diperkenalkan pada teori dan praktik deep learning serta strategi pengembangan berpikir kreatif, sekaligus diarahkan merancang modul ajar matematika. Pada fase on-service, guru mendapatkan mentoring digital saat menyempurnakan modul mereka. Berbeda dari pendekatan pelatihan guru konvensional, kegiatan ini menggabungkan fase pelatihan tatap muka dan pendampingan daring berbasis prinsip deep learning yang kontekstual. Meskipun berbagai pelatihan guru telah dilakukan sebelumnya, belum tersedia model pengabdian yang secara terpadu mengombinasikan deep learning, kreativitas matematis, dan skema pendampingan berkelanjutan, sehingga pendekatan ini menawarkan kontribusi baru dalam penguatan kapasitas guru. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru berhasil mengintegrasikan prinsip deep learning dan indikator berpikir kreatif (tugas multi-solusi, konteks budaya, refleksi siswa) dalam modul pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan berkelanjutan, desain kontekstual, dan bimbingan bertahap sangat penting dalam mewujudkan inovasi pedagogis di sekolah. Proyek ini berkontribusi pada pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberdayakan kapasitas guru dalam merancang pembelajaran kreatif berbasis deep learning. Untuk pengembangan selanjutnya, direkomendasikan evaluasi dampak langsung terhadap siswa serta perluasan model ke konteks sekolah lain.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian Inovatif; Deep Learning Pedagogi; Berpikir Kreatif; Desain Instruksional Matematika; Pengembangan Kapasitas Guru. Assistance in Developing Deep Learning–Based Mathematics Teaching Modules to Enhance the Creative Thinking Skills of Students at SMPN 1 Narmada Abstract In response to the demands of 21st-century competencies, particularly creative thinking, this community service project aimed to develop and mentor the implementation of mathematics instructional modules based on deep learning principles for teachers at SMPN 1 Narmada. The intervention was carried out in two phases: face-to-face training (in-service) and remote mentoring (on-service). During the in-service phase, 60 teachers were introduced to the theory and practice of deep learning and creative thinking, and were guided in designing mathematics learning modules. In the on-service phase, teachers received digital mentoring as they refined their modules. Distinct from conventional teacher-training approaches, this program integrates face-to-face instruction with online mentoring grounded in contextual deep-learning principles. Although various professional development initiatives have been implemented in Indonesia, there remains a lack of community-service models that simultaneously combine deep-learning pedagogy, mathematical creativity development, and sustained mentoring—representing a key gap that this project uniquely addresses. The results indicate that 85% of participants successfully integrated deep-learning principles and creative-thinking indicators (multiple-solution tasks, cultural contextualization, student reflection) into their modules. These findings highlight the importance of continuous support, contextualized design, and scaffolded guidance in enabling pedagogical innovation. This project contributes to community-service scholarship by empowering teachers to design creative mathematics learning grounded in deep-learning practices. Future work should include direct evaluation of student outcomes and broader implementation across diverse school contexts.

Abstract

This systematic review synthesises peer-reviewed empirical and conceptual research on threshold concepts (TC) in higher education published between 2015 and 2025. The review aims to examine how threshold concepts are theorised, operationalised, and empirically investigated across disciplinary contexts, with particular attention to their defining characteristics, associated learning difficulties, and pedagogical implications. Following a rigorous process of database searching, screening, and eligibility assessment, a total of 26 studies were included, comprising 11 peer-reviewed journal articles and 15 articles reporting empirical studies. The analysis integrates qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies to generate three key contributions: (1) a refined synthesis of TC characteristics as epistemic and, in some cases, ontological turning points in learning; (2) a structured categorisation of learning challenges associated with threshold crossing, including cognitive, affective, and contextual dimensions; and (3) an overview of pedagogical approaches designed to support learners during liminal phases. Findings indicate that TC consistently facilitate transitions from surface understanding to disciplinary ways of knowing, although their forms and manifestations vary across fields. While pedagogical interventions increasingly acknowledge the necessity of learning difficulty, robust longitudinal evidence remains limited. The review concludes with practical indicators for educators, and methodological recommendations, especially the need for longitudinal study, mixed methods design, and clearer operational criteria to strengthen future research and curriculum design.

Abstract

Training and assistance in the creation of scientific articles based on artificial intelligence (AI) aims to improve the scientific writing skills of prospective teachers at Mandalika Education University. The program involves the use of AI-based tools such as ChatGPT to correct grammar and Scite AI to help participants find relevant references quickly. A total of 25 students of the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Applied participated in this training online. The method used in this activity involves three main stages, namely preparation, training, and mentoring. In the preparation stage, the training materials are designed to cover important topics related to scientific writing, the use of AI-based tools, and reference management using Mendeley and Zotero. The training was carried out in the form of interactive sessions, where participants were given material on the structure of scientific articles, the use of AI tools, and reference management techniques. Mentoring is carried out individually to provide more specific feedback on the articles that have been compiled by the participants. The results of the evaluation showed a significant improvement in the participants' ability to understand the structure of scientific articles using academic language, and to manage references appropriately. Despite the challenges associated with academic integrity and reliance on technology, this training provides a solid foundation for aspiring teachers to integrate technology in scientific writing and teaching.
