Abstract

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is essential to prevent workplace accidents in industrial activities. CV. Dea Ayu Lestari, a solid waste collection and sales company, involves intensive manual material handling that poses significant accident risks. This study aims to identify potential hazards and analyze risk levels in waste processing activities using Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). JSA was applied to qualitatively break down work steps and identify hazards, while FMEA quantified the risks using Severity (S), Occurrence (O), and Detection (D) parameters to determine the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The results revealed that high-priority risks are concentrated in handling wooden and iron sheet pallets, with the highest risk occurring during the transportation of wooden pallets to collectors due to the hazard of being struck by collapsing materials, yielding a peak RPN of 126. Other critical risks include sharp metal cuts from rusted iron sheets (RPN 112). Recommended control measures include the operationalization of four newly designed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the introduction of mechanical handling aids, and mandatory compliance with standardized personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically cut-resistant gloves and safety shoes.

Abstract

This study develops an integrated strategic leadership model for improving madrasah quality by synthesizing strategic management, transformational leadership, spiritual leadership, and Islamic values. Prior research has generally examined these four perspectives in isolation, leaving no comprehensive framework capable of explaining sustainable institutional transformation in Islamic educational organizations. Using a Systematic Literature Review guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol and a Qualitative Evidence Synthesis approach, this study analyzed peer-reviewed publications (2020–2026) indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and reputable SINTA-accredited sources. Thematic synthesis identified eight interrelated strategic dimensions—Islamic Core Values, Strategic Vision, Spiritual Transformational Leadership, Strategic Planning and Governance, Human Capital Empowerment, Learning Organization, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Madrasah Excellence—which are integrated into the Islamic Values-Based Strategic Spiritual Transformational Leadership Management (SSTLM) Framework. The study formulates eight strategic propositions (SP1–SP8) and a five-stage implementation roadmap. Theoretically, the framework repositions Islamic values as a strategic organizational capability rather than a merely normative attribute, extending Resource-Based View, Dynamic Capabilities, and Values-Based Leadership perspectives. Practically, it provides school leaders, foundations, and policymakers with a diagnostic and implementation tool.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the key factors in the success of the learning process. In practice, however, many students remain passive and show little interest in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) lessons due to the dominance of lecture-based methods and limited instructional media. This study aims to determine the effect of the Game Based Learning model on the learning motivation of third-grade students in the SKI subject at MI Persiapan Negeri, Teluk Rendah Ilir Village, Tebo Regency. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed, involving 16 students in the experimental class and 17 students in the control class selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using an 18-item Likert-scale motivation questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.922) administered as a pretest and posttest, then analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, the Mann-Whitney U test, Rosenthal's r effect size, and the N-Gain Score test with SPSS 20. Results show that the experimental class's mean motivation score increased from 50 (pretest) to 71.01 (posttest), while the control class increased only from 48 to 50.46. The Mann-Whitney U test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between groups, with a Rosenthal's r of 0.857 (large effect) and an N-Gain of 41.99% (moderate) for the experimental class versus 1.50% (low) for the control class.

Abstract

Objective: Indonesia faces a persistent aluminium supply deficit and heavy import dependence, while the mineral downstreaming policy drives domestic value-added processing. This study evaluates the financial feasibility and risk sensitivity of a planned 500,000 tonnes-per-year (TPY) aluminium ingot smelter at Industrial Estate “X”, Central Kalimantan, modelling its ROI dynamics through a system dynamics approach. Methods: A quantitative descriptive approach used secondary data over a 22-year period (2030 construction; 2031–2051 operation). Feasibility was assessed with five capital budgeting indicators (NPV, IRR, Net B/C, Payback Period, Break-Even Point) at MARR 10.14%, complemented by DuPont decomposition and a Vensim-based Causal Loop Diagram (CLD). One-at-a-time sensitivity analysis (±10–30%) was applied to alumina price and coal energy cost. Results: The project is feasible, with NPV of USD 2,285.66 million, IRR of 16.69% (above MARR), Net B/C of 1.761, and payback period of 6.16 years. Energy cost is 1.60 times more sensitive to NPV than alumina price. The CLD identified two reinforcing and two balancing feedback loops explaining ROI dynamics across the project's deleveraging phases. Novelty: This study extends prior alumina-stage feasibility research to the ingot-smelting stage and integrates sensitivity analysis with DuPont-based system dynamics modelling, a combination absent from Indonesia's aluminium feasibility literature.
