Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the service quality of tea products at PD Arahmah Wanayasa Purwakarta and identify service attributes that should be prioritized for improvement to increase customer satisfaction. This study employed the Service Quality (SERVQUAL) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The research data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who were customers of PD Arahmah tea products. The SERVQUAL method was used to measure service quality based on the gap between customer perceptions and expectations, while the IPA method was applied to determine the importance and performance levels of each service attribute and to classify them into four priority quadrants. The results showed that the average customer perception score was 3.80, while the average expectation score was 3.66, resulting in an average gap value of 0.14. The service quality (Q) value of 1.038 indicates that, overall, the service quality provided has met and exceeded customer expectations. The IPA results identified product packaging, taste consistency, and employees' understanding of customer needs as the main priorities for improvement. Improvements in these attributes are expected to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction, and the sustainability of PD Arahmah's business.

Abstract

Objective: Counterproductive work behavior is one of the human resource issues that may reduce organizational productivity and effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the effects of work facilities, employee empowerment, and seniority on counterproductive work behavior through work ethic as a mediating variable among employees of PT XYZ. A quantitative approach was employed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 94 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique and analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that seniority has a significant indirect effect on counterproductive work behavior through work ethic, whereas work facilities and employee empowerment do not have significant indirect effects. In addition, work facilities, employee empowerment, seniority, and work ethic have significant direct effects on counterproductive work behavior. This study contributes by explaining the mediating role of work ethic in the relationship between work facilities, employee empowerment, seniority, and counterproductive work behavior in a water resource management company.

Abstract

Human resources are strategic assets that determine an organization's success in achieving its objectives. Counterproductive work behavior is one of the major issues that can reduce productivity, work quality, and organizational effectiveness. Several factors are assumed to influence counterproductive work behavior, including seniority, task delegation, job security, and work ethic. This study aims to analyze the effect of seniority, task delegation, and job security on counterproductive work behavior through work ethic at PT XYZ. This research employed a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The study involved 94 respondents selected through purposive sampling using a non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results indicate that seniority, task delegation, and job security have different effects on both counterproductive work behavior and work ethic. Work ethic also acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between the independent variables and counterproductive work behavior. The findings are expected to provide practical recommendations for improving employee work ethic and reducing counterproductive work behavior through more effective human resource management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of service qualityas measured by five dimensions: physical evidence, process control, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy as well as on-time delivery on customer satisfaction at the JNE Express Purwakarta Branch. The background of this study is based on the high number of customer complaints regarding delivery delays and discrepancies between system update information and actual delivery status in 2025. This study employs a quantitative approach, relying on primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. Sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling technique with an incidental method, resulting in a sample size of 100 respondents from the population of customers who made direct offline transactions. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The results of the measurement model evaluation (outer model) confirmed that all indicators met the criteria for convergent and discriminant validity, with factor loadings above 0.70 and an Average Variance Extracted (AVE) exceeding the minimum threshold of 0.50 for each latent construct. Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing using the bootstrapping method showed that service quality—measured across several aspects such as physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, as well as on-time delivery—significantly influences customer satisfaction, with t-statistic values reaching the critical threshold of 1.96.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC)-based learning management innovation in improving the quality of learning in Islamic schools (madrasas). The KBC is an educational approach that integrates the values of compassion, empathy, and spirituality into the learning process and educational management to create a humanistic learning environment. This study employed a qualitative approach with social phenomenology at MTsN 1 Ponorogo. Data were obtained through interviews with the madrasah principal, the vice principal for curriculum, and teachers, supported by observation and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which encompasses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results indicate that the KBC-based learning management innovation is implemented through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating learning that integrates the value of love. This implementation increases student engagement, the quality of teacher-student interactions, and strengthens religious character, thus creating an inclusive and sustainable learning culture. This study concludes that the KBC-based learning management innovation is an effective strategy for improving the quality of learning and developing student character in Islamic schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate Service Quality and formulate improvement priorities at PT. Rama Mulia Sentosa by integrating the SERVQUAL, Kano, and House of Quality (HOQ) methods. Data were collected from 120 customers occupying purchasing positions through a structured questionnaire. The SERVQUAL analysis identified several service attributes with negative gaps, particularly related to delivery punctuality, delivery schedule flexibility, product appearance, warranty clarity, complaint handling, and communication responsiveness. The Kano model classified these attributes into Must-Be, One-Dimensional, and Attractive categories, showing that several service elements are fundamental expectations and directly affect customer satisfaction. The HOQ analysis was then used to translate prioritized customer requirements into technical responses. The most important technical improvements were shipment monitoring and distribution evaluation, product quality inspection, flexible delivery scheduling, complaint handling system improvement, warranty SOP development, and customer communication enhancement. These findings indicate that SERVQUAL, Kano, and HOQ can provide a systematic and practical framework for improving Service Quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Objective: This article examines how Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, ranging from madrasah and integrated Islamic schools to pesantren, manage their curricula amid the demands of digital transformation, identifies the structural, cultural, and managerial challenges faced, and maps the learning innovations developed in response to these demands. Methods: A qualitative library research method was applied, in which forty-five scholarly sources, comprising journal articles, theses, and policy documents published between 2019 and 2025, were traced through Google Scholar, SINTA, and Garuda, then analysed thematically following the Miles and Huberman model, with source triangulation used to ensure validity. Results: Digital transformation opens opportunities such as administrative efficiency, flexible online learning, and expanded access to resources, but it is also confronted by four structural challenges: limited technological infrastructure, gaps in educators' digital competence, cultural resistance rooted in pesantren tradition, and the absence of a clear managerial framework that risks eroding Islamic values. Novelty: This study frames curriculum management as a single integrated process spanning planning, organising, implementation, and evaluation, and proposes a value-based curriculum management model as the foundation for sustainable digital transformation that safeguards the religious character of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Pancasila Education requires an enjoyable classroom atmosphere to promote active student engagement. However, conventional, teacher-centered instruction can make students passive and bored, highlighting the need for meaningful, emotionally supportive, and cognitively engaging joyful learning. This study aims to describe joyful learning practices and student engagement in Pancasila Education at SMAS Muhammadiyah 8 Gresik. A qualitative case study was conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation involving two Pancasila Education teachers and five Grade XII-3 students across three meetings. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification, supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings show that joyful learning was implemented through digital media, including Smart TV, Wordwall, and Zep Quiz, the integration of current social phenomena into learning materials, and group discussions and presentations. These practices fostered behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement, although introverted and less confident students required differentiated strategies. The study concludes that joyful learning depends not only on enjoyable methods but also on teachers’ ability to create psychologically safe, socially supportive, and adaptive learning environments.
